Awesome Store and Employees
Home Depot is my Go To Supply Store. Home Depot is Always My First Stop to find or purchase materials before I would go to any specific supply warehouse. As a general contractor, I have been going to most all Home Depots longer than most employees. My children now shop at Home Depot with my grand children who will be future customers of Home Depot

      Good Team of Management
      I recently purchased a Gazebo from Home Depot online it was in Stock and was supposed to be delivered on Friday The weekend of Memorial Day. Let me say it was a 3rd Party order. The Gazebo didn't show up. I called the 3rd party and they said your not getting it today and they would look into it very rude. I already paid them and waited a week for this Gazebo. The 3rd party called me back Monday morning saying I could wait a month if I wanted to cause they were out of stock .NOPE! I reached out to Home Depots Management and they were on top of it, looking into this 3 rd party's company. I went that Monday and Management was able to order me the same Gazebo which was a Different Vendor and cost $300 less, they also took care of the cancellation and were able to apply the money spent on the first Gazebo to the new Gazebo. What a headache! Let me say Andrew and Anna were very professional as representatives of the N Richland Hills Home Depot, Now that this has been resolved I wait for My Gazebo And we shall see if product was worth the headache, money, and Time. 😂 Thank you NRH Home Depot Management.

        Starts from the top!
        I’ve had two separate negative experiences with the store manager, Anna, on back-to-back days, and both incidents were unacceptable. The first involved waiting over an hour for a pallet of cinder blocks. I had communicated clearly with the Pro Desk, Anna, and two drivers about where I’d be located. Despite that, no one made an effort to find me — they just moved on. When I finally did receive the blocks and drove off, they weren’t properly secured. They shifted in transit and ended up shattering my vehicle’s window. So that was the end to a great hour-plus wait. The very next day, while returning concrete, I watched two staff members treat an elderly customer with complete disrespect — talking back and making rude comments as she walked away. That kind of behavior is disturbing to see, and even more disturbing that it’s happening under Anna’s management. All of this reflects extremely poorly on the leadership and on Home Depot as a whole. I’m disappointed, and unless serious changes are made, I won’t be returning or giving you any more of my business.

          A SAD COMMENTARY ON SOCIETY
          I say so only because I am old enough to remember when you could go into a store and shop for a drill, walk up to the register and check out. Shoplifting is changing the Home Depot experience in N Richland Hills. With easy access to the freeway Home Depot has to protect itself from what must be a rampant shoplifting situation! Lock up the valuables and hide your children because it's the treat them all like criminals until they prove they're innocent. Last night we found the drills and the selection was great! DeWalt, Ryobi and Milwaukee. Don't get me wrong... the staff assisted us lickity split. After selecting a drill we left the area to do some other shopping. When we were ready to leave we had to return to the area of the drills to tell the Associate that we were ready to check out. At that point It took just minutes for an Associate to find the keys to the locked tool case and personally carry it to the register to hand it to the self check out Associate to check out. I guess an elderly person riding a handicap cart with five people in tow (two adults; one 13 year old; one 10 year old and a baby who turns a year old this month) get the possible "shoplifter" experience! We found everything we needed.

                I don't usually shop at this particular location and the set up was different than my usual store. The lady in returns was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction.

                  The good the bad and the Ugly
                  The people at the Pro-Desk are very friendly and most are knowledgeable excepty for a few of the young ladies there. I remember the day when Home Depot.bosted about having professionals in every area. Not so true anymore these young ladies do not know the difference in a 2x4 or a sheet of plywood they are only cashiers nothing more. You ask them a question you get that deer in the headlight look. This can be frustrating I agree they have a place in your store but not at the Pro-Desk Hence Pro-Desk Thank goodness you have some veteran construction workers in there except on the weekends and that crew is hopeless guys with blue hair and purple fingernails. I am assuming HD has gone woke and supports DEI thats all well and good but in my view your employees should look professional and not like they are making a personal statement. Maybe I am just to old fashion.

                    Quality control (or lack there of)
                    Don’t not leave the building with and product, especially a door from Steven’s, without first spending a few hours to examine said product for bad manufacturing and/or shipping and handling damage. I have run into entirely too many bad/damaged products.

                              Blinds
                              Ordered blinds few weeks back, but my overall experience was really bad. I used their installation service and in store pickup but they kept messing up my order. I had to do multiple trips, first time they cut it incorrectly then again they missed one of the wand. The worst part is the employee would not accept that it’s a failure on their side. Kept blaming installation guys which again were hired from Home Depot. As customer I needed a smooth service. Unfortunately they lack communication between their own vendor causing displeasure to customers. I won’t ever user their services again. Might not go to this store.

                                      Always have just what I need!
                                      We have been going to this Home Depot since we purchased our starter home, in 2009. S Even though there is another Home Depot closer to our "forever" home, which we purchased and moved to in 2018, we have continued to do about 90% of our purchases at the North Richland His location. We prefer the customer service, ease of finding things, knowledge of the staff, and the layout of the store (the one nearest to our home is set up very weirdly and it is difficult to find things, checkout, and parking is bad). That is why we prefer to drive 10-15 minutes further, to go to the NRH location.

                                        We bought an item that was locked up and had to be carried to the register by a team member due to theft issues. No big deal. This is the world we live in now. However, the employee who walked our itwm to the register with us was very friendly and conversational onour walk to the register. The cashier who checked us out was also very friendly.

                                                    Acknowledge when I entered store and another employee assisted me getting the person who could help me. That employee went above and beyond to help me find the specific refrigerator/microwave I wanted at the best deal possible.

                                                        Always the same issue
                                                        This location is a very frustrating location to shop at. They will most likely have what you need but the customer service is always an issue. No one asks you if you need help and if you ask they will have an attitude. If you are in a hurry it gets the job done but to save with frustration if you have time just go somewhere else.

                                                            "I don't work here, why are you bothering me!"
                                                            Employee wearing orange shirt with Home Depot logos on it got very angry at me when I approached him for help finding a bolt. He yelled loudly that "I am a merchandiser, I don't work for this store." I said "Excuse me, but your shirt says Home Depot all over it." He said "That's because you can't read that it says merchandiser." Whatever that means. Incredible that you would allow people to work in the store and act like this.
