Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, and CFLs for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used for composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store reduced energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives such as solar and wind.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates. This commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment and our local communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our eco actions.

What sizes of moving boxes do you have?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving or storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances life throws at you. Whether you're dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements knock it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
What home repairs should I make sooner rather than later?
Ready your home for spring temperatures swings and storms by replacing any faulty or broken parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be in for major repairs down the line. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or roofing shingles for rust or damage that could let water leak in. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check cinder block and brickwork for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped if they're damaged.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, privacy, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
