Store manager at East Liberty is unprofessional
I asked for the store manager to help the front returns clerk and he was insulted that I implied the returns clerk was incompetent. Then he called the police. I talked to them and they were very professional.

    Outstanding Customer Service!
    Although it’s been a while since shopping here, upon arriving at the Home Depot Shadyside store, we were greeted once again with a very warm welcome and friendly smile by Ant(hony). He was very helpful in brainstorming & searching for the sizing for the DIY mirror fix project. He also called in Kendrick to assist us. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and assisted us quickly with enthusiasm. They went above and beyond the call of duty to render us assistance. The customer service that we received was fantastic. They epitomize outstanding customer care. These amazing HomeDepot should be properly promoted. HomeDepot is indeed very fortunate to have such stellar employees representing and enlarging the territories of their businesses. They know how to keep an attract more customers and in doing so they bring more money to HomeDepot. Such exemplary work ethics should be commended.           Armed security
          This store has a young man dressed in a tactical vest labeled "security" and armed with a gun. No theft at that store would more deadly violence, and it can't imagine putting someone that young in position to make that choice. Irresponsible by Home Depot.

            Very easy process from ordering on-line to pickup in the store. Elizabeth, in customer service, and the associate, that help me load the door in my truck, we’re very helpful and friendly!

              Neighborly & Friendly Staff
              I have found very consistently that the staff at East Liberty Home Depot really rocks it as far as being very helpful & keeping a sense of friendliness & a sense of humor about them. Also, the multitude of items they offer is well organized and well positioned in the store. I choose this particular big box store over others for these reasons...

                Bugs in Plants
                Purchase a live potted palm and when got home found that the roots and bottom of the pot had bugs - earwigs. Called store for refund and was advised to bring plant back. No longer have plant, and live in a different state as plant was purchased as a gift for someone local to that store. Cannot believe they can't address this issue. I also advised them to check the other plants, because this was definitely due to extreme overwatering. Warning not to purchase houseplants from this location.
