I have been going to this store for over 20 years. It usually has what I need and the employees have always tried their best to help me. Many experts in specific departments such as plumbing and paint and carpentry are actual trades people who are happy to teach me a thing or two.

Best part of shopping at HomeDepot is the helpful and knowledgably employees.

Online ordering and ordering ov er the phone and going in the store to pick up the merchandise is ALWAYS a smooth and easy experience--Thank you!

Paint shop could not mix paint because tinting system was down

David King was my sales person in appliances at the Plymouth, Five Mile and Beck store. His patience and knowledge made me purchase 5 major kitchen appliances from him. I always felt he had my best interest. Ask for David King in appliances.

I was able to find everything I was looking to purchase in one visit. The issue is lack of attentive cashiers. My kiosk gun malfunctioned and the kiosk began blaring that I needed assistance, it was quite loud, but not loud enough to get the attention of the cashier 6-8 feet away. She was engrossed on her phone that she didn't look up or hear the kiosk. I had to get her attention for assistance as the man's kiosk behind be malfunctioned in the same manner. It was a quiet night so there was no reason for her not to hear the kiosk other than she was not paying attention. Better trained front line employees would provide better customer service and customer satisfaction.

I live within a five mile radius containing three Home Depot stores. One I don't use because it's a bit out of the way, but the other two I use regularly, this being one of them. After several experiences over several years, I can honestly say this is the better store. I don't want to name the other out of politeness but if you're curious I'm sure you can figure it out by yourself. Doesn't matter, just shop here. The staff in this store is professional, attentive and curious. I don't run into any "attitude" like I have at other places. Maybe it helps that this isn't the busiest store in the area and consequently the employees aren't all stressed out, especially during COVID. But I don't think that's it, exactly, I personally think this store is managed well. My favorite is the paint department, the two nice ladies there clearly know what they're doing. Another bonus, buying mulch in spring is easy here, there's lots of room and they'll load it in your car any day of the week. In fact they have people waiting out there for you. Love this place.

I can’t say enough about this particular home depot. Since we moved to this area we frequent this store and have always had excellent service. We have done a couple remodels and have used many departments in which we have had excellent service. Thank you to the staff at the 5 Mike and Beck location. We will continue to shop your store.

The Plymouth Home Depot is great. Always clean and the employees are always friendly and helpful. It just has a comfortable feeling. How nice to have a store where the employees are always willing to help you find what you are looking for.

EVERY TIME YOU CALL THE STORE NO ONE WANTS TO TALK TO YOU, THEY KEEP HANGING UP ON YOU.

Friendly people, even though more knowledge and advice by content would be appreciated. 'Searching' for the right product together is not what I need, I need advice.

Sam was very helpful in our purchase of patio furniture. We decided to buy the floor sample as patio furniture is selling fast. She arranged the purchase and our delivery. The associates were helpful and our always friendly especially when I bring my dog in to shop with me.

The store was clean and the cashier was helpful. The tile project order was a disaster. I requested a “will call” order for my items. The first pallet of tile was wrapped and I drove it home to realize it was the wrong tile. I returned and the cashier at the service desk was helpful and correct the order. I was told they would pull the correct tile. I went and picked up the correct tile which was pushed to the door on a cart. Not wrapped and/or on a pallet. I asked why it wasn’t wrapped and ready. The employee said this is how it is and walked away. Very unprofessional. I would have pulled the tile on the weekend myself if they were not going to pallet the items. The store was clean and cashier helpful. The “will call” service obviously is poor.

There is a lady in the Paint area (Sue - I believe it is) that is unbelievable helpful. I came in on 2/20/21 (around 10:15ish) as I was working on a project and needed assistance with some existing paints I had and the first lady I asked seemed bother that I needed help. Then Sue jumped in and totally helped me out. She explained what she could do to help me and despite I didn't need to purchase anything, I did just so I could complete a survey to say how great she was. I will never shop or work with another paint person other than Sue.

Ask for Dorothy in Plumbing! She really knows her department!

We always shop at Home Depot first for the vast majority of tools our building supplies. This store always has a good inventory and skilled help.

Store is neat and orderly. Mostly always full of inventory. Rental equipment department is organized and easy to use. The Pro/Contractor pick-up area is always tidy and easy to find space to load materials. Friendly, helpful staff throughout. And, Jim who promotes the Home Depot Credit Cards, he is a great guy. He signed me up years ago and every time I see him I stop and chat. He is so very pleasant and a great Home Depot spokesperson even when he is not signing you up for a Home Depot credit card.

After having a terrible experience with Pam at the Northville store, Mike single handedly restores our faith in Home Depot’s designers. He really did an amazing job on our kitchen design. Such a good job that I had to ask why he doesn’t have his own company doing this. He went above and beyond the entire 5-6 hours that we worked with him. He is so knowledgeable about not only the product HD carries, but also his overall knowledge of kitchen design, installation, and the pros and cons of doing everything one way or another. Not only that, but I will be suggesting Mike to everyone I know who needs kitchen help. He is worth the drive even from far away. He is truthfully the reason we ended up buying from HD when we originally only came for the design ideas. Mike was extremely appreciated!

Ray Gibb in kitchen design was extremely helpful in helping us design a useful layout for our new kitchen while staying in our budget. He is a great asset to Home Depot.

I always find this store to be clean and organized. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. If not approached or asked by them, they have always helped or found the help needed when asked.

This is the best Home Depot Store in the area. I have shopped here for years and the staff is friendly and helpful and the store is always very clean.

I was looking for a freezer for my son and daughter-in-law. A man, who was not in the appliance department, helped me find the product I was looking for and took me to the person who could complete my order. I wish I had remembered his name. Also, Judy, who completed my order, was able to quickly help me with my purchase. I did have to wait a short time while she was on the phone with another customer, but I did not find that a problem.

My salesperson in the flooring dept. was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't feel rushed, and she answered all my questions (and I had a lot!) and was very friendly. Highly recommend!

An associate coordinated the acquisition of some kitchen cabinets that I needed ASAP from a neighboring Home Depot store (Northville, MI). She had a fellow associate call that store and make sure that they "could put their hands" on the desired cabinets before I traveled to that store and not make a wasted trip. They processed the acquisition of these cabinets with an online purchase and supplied me with a "Claim Check" and pick them up at the Service Desk and not to have to wait in a checkout. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE and GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE!
