I understand that it’s difficult to find hard working, intelligent employees in Memphis… but I also know that a halfway decent store manager could find better employees in a heartbeat, or at least provide some training to the clowns they pay to stand in people’s way.

While I found everything I needed the staff was helpful, however checking out has been not good at any of the stores I visited, registers closed self check not working to say the least at any time of the day, and I buy from home Depot weekly

The customer was excellent

Decent store location, not very many options as it relates to my needs, better options available online, to do an order pick up.

Customer service on Truse Pkwy is starting to be as terrible as customer service at the Poplar Midtown location. Bring a sack lunch if you have to pick up an order.

My experience at this Home Depot store in Memphis, Tennessee, was very bad, and the service was not up to the standard that I am accustomed to!

This visit: really helpful and polite employees. Not my usual experience in any store - including Home Depot.

What I was looking for was in stock at this location.

My opinion is the same my previous feedback comments today 08/09/2024. One sales person working in tool area. Locked-Up product. 30-40 minute shopping wait for one item. You have to go straight to registers to cash out. No exceptions. It’s annoying!

Bobbie was super friendly

This store is OK but it definitely is not as clean as some in the suburbs. Employees are not the friendliest and there is no assistance like in other stores. No one in appliances or kitchen area to help. The parking lot is dangerous but that is due to location.

I just want to highlight Kelvin Higgins in the paint department at the Poplar/Avalon Home Depot here in Memphis. He was kind, courteous, professional and respectful. He answered all of my questions and spent about 15 minutes going through paint chips to get two outstanding paint matches because his machine was down. When I asked him his name so I could mention him in my review, he shook my hand, told me his full name, and asked me my name too! I feel as if I made a friend. Ifeverybody at HD went the extra mille like Kelvin, all your competitors would go out of business.

There had been a noticeable change at this store. Got to be under new management. Over 10 years of shopping here, I have never seen this store so organized. Very clean and great customer service.

Some of them call be by name. That’s kind of nice…!!!

Dedrick Fair definitely helped me out with what I needed and more. He’s very knowledgeable about his job. Great guy!!

Employee more focused on quitting time and conversation with each other than the customer (Employer). You set yourself apart from the competition with such low standard but good quantity of product and neat store but I wonder how long that formula will last.

Associate Hayden went above and beyond to help me complete a $1,750.68 purchase. There was no siding that i wanted on shelves when Hayden told us to "hold on for a sec"...10 minutes later he came with a forklift loaded with siding and took it upon himself to load our cart. Having two full carts and a basket, he helped us make it to will call where he helped cashier expedite our purchase. Cant thank him enough...

I truly would like for this location (Midtown)to start back stocking dining area bar table and stool sets.

Why bother going into the store when the salesperson couldn’t answer the question of is this part of the promotion for the interest free for 24 months. She told me I had to call the customer service line?

I brought a mail box a month a go at a great price.

I can always find someone to help me with my questions. They never seem too busy to do so. The employees are a very helpful and friendly group.
