Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting CFLs, lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, and plastic plant pots for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store cut down energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives like solar and wind.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates. This commitment extends beyond our stores to our local communities and the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our eco actions.

What kinds of moving boxes do you offer?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Do I need a generator?
We've got the variety you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Should I do siding repairs now?
Make sure your home is ready for spring temperatures swings and storms by replacing or repairing broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be in for a real headache. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing panels for damage or rust that could let water in. Gutters should be cleaned to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks. Indoors, verify ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, change vinyl siding and chimney caps if damaged.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful to scare off wannabe porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
