I've only been in this store a few times, but every time I find friendly and helpful people. I usually go to a nearby store for clothes, then recall something I can get here at Home Depot. Always clean and organized. Ya'll dropped stars for making me rewrite this. This will also be reflected in my google review. The clothing store is NOT a competitor.

Richfield Home Depot service just given was commendable. Scott and Gary, the two men who assisted me went out of their way to help me find a product that took us to several different places that had such an item.They were courteous, friendly and very helpful.

I receive uniformly friendly and helpful serviced at this store-great staff. Products always seem to be in stock.

ALWAYS a great experience at Home Depot Richfield. In and Out fast thanks to helpful employees who know their stuff, solve my problem and get me the product I REALLY need.

I love going to the plants section of this store. There are lots of plants to choose from, and all the plants I bought from there are thriving and doing so well. This is my go to store for home improvement.

I have shopped at many Home Depot throughout the Twins City, and around this country. However, when it come to Customer Service and Quality Products, this is the place to go! The Leadership of the Richfield Store Manger and Employees care about customer quality service. Nevertheless, I Love the way they Honor Our Military Community ! Thanks Richfield Home Depot for what you do for my family & this community.

I was looking for a storage cabinet and Home Depot had one I liked. They also offered a small $5 coupon online. The website said that there were limited supplies online and to call and see if it is still available at the only store within 90 miles that says has them. I called and a very helpful gal said that they had exactly one remaining. I asked if I can purchase it online and come and pick it up curbside. I was told that it may take a day or two before they can get it set aside for me. I was told I would have to come to the store and get it. She did say she would set it aside for me she was very helpful again for me. She called back a few minutes later to say that her boss yelled at her and that she couldn't do that after all. I asked again if I can pay for it and pick it up curbside but she said that in order to pay for it, I would have to come into the store. I said I will be on my way. I get to the store and I know I will need a sturdy cart to carry the box this cabinet comes in. None available at the entrance so I grab a regular cart. I find the cabinet and lift it onto the cart and wheel it to the checkout counter. I normally would use the self-checkout lanes to remain socially distant but I signed up for Home Depot's promotional emails and texts so I can get the $5 coupon. I assumed I would need to have an employee scan that in. I also needed to try to keep at least one hand on the cart because the weight of the cabinet on the regular shopping cart was very tippy. The checkout clerk asked if I would like to save $30 on my purchase by signing up for the Home Depot credit card and I said I didn't need another credit card. She said again what a great deal it was and I replied again that I wasn't interested. I showed her the code for the $5 coupon I had and she had trouble with that. A supervisor replied that it is an online coupon only. She didn't care that I tried a couple times to purchase online and come pick it up but since Home Depot would take a day or two to go to aisle 3 and grab the cabinet, I offered to come do it for them and save us all some time. Needless to say, I got the cabinet, but I don't feel good about shopping at Home Depot. I may never go back again because of the treatment I received there. I think I will return this cabinet and buy another one elsewhere. I don't blame ClosetMaid, it seems like a very nice unit that will solve my problems with storage nicely. But I don't think Home Depot deserves credit for this sale.

All of the employees that I encountered were absolutely horrible except for the gentleman in lumber. I was shopping for a variety of items. Including power tools, wood, paint, etc. First off, I spent over ten minutes looking for an employee to help me in the lumber department before I was finally able to get help from a cashier to track a lumber department employee down for me. Who was very nice and helpful. While in the power tools section, the only employee working there was hostile the entire time and never asked if I needed help. I ended up having to ask her for help several times and tried to be very polite about it every time. Yet, whenever I said “excuse me ma’am” to get her attention, she never even looked up to acknowledge me and would simply mutter her responses. When it came time to checkout the cashier also seemed to have a poor attitude. While shopping in lumber I picked up a few pieces of free scrap wood that was going to be thrown out. I explained this to the cashier and she completely discredited me by saying “well I’ve never heard of us giving away free wood” and continued to question me back and forth a few times. Until I suggested that she simply confirm what I was saying to be true with her coworker. Also, at checkout there were two more cashiers. A male and a female talking with one another, whispering and giggling amongst themselves. I couldn’t hear them but their body language seemed as though they were actually making fun of customers standing in a close proximity. I ended up purchasing over $300 in items that I really needed. Overall, my experience at this Home Depot in particular was particularly horrible and I will never return to this location.

Store employee Holly was terrible, mean, and intent I ally insulting/rude. As a retail employee myself I would never dream of speaking to a customer the way she spoke to me. People like this are the reason why retail is dying. I would be embarrassed to have someone as rude as she working for me.

Really stellar help from the knowledgeable staff here. I appreciate the knowledge-sharing of the department heads. If they don't know, they know who in the store does. If your not sure how to choose a bath tub or what bulb you need, this is the store! Also the tool aisles have anything you could ever need for woodworking.

My shopping experience with Home Depot today was awful. I looked on line for a bath vanity. The internet showed 2 in stock at the Richfield Minnesota store. I arrive at the store and there was no one around to help me find the vanity. So, I went back to the front of the store and asked an associate who was just standing there doing nothing, if he could get me some help. He just stared at me like I was bothering him. I finally found another associate who came back to the bath department and explained that the internet said there were 2 of these vanities in the store. She looked up a couple sku numbers but said she could not find the item. I asked her to go get a store ladder and please physically check the top row to see if the vanity was there. She refused and said if I can’t find in on my scanner then it is not here. I asked her then why does the internet say it is here? She just said,” I don’t know.” In my opinion Home Depot associates are some of the most ignorant and lazy staff I have ever encounter in the retail, it is as if they are not interested in making a sale or taking my money

The richfield MN is a great store from top to bottom. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The products are mostly always in stock. And it's always clean and safe.

Awesome staff because of their helpfulness and kindness during these unusual times. Thanks everyone!

This store has long been well run, well stocked and my 'go-to' home improvement/supply store. For example, several years ago I bought an expensive gas grill from this store which, when delivered, had broken and missing parts. The-then Home Depot Richfield store manager not only delivered me a replacement grill, but one that was fully assembled. As a result, my loyalty was won --no longer the case. In 2020 this store has significantly dropped in overall quality. The store has never been great about doing stocking before opening or after closing--countless times I've encountered blocked aisles or had to navigate around product. On a visit this past weekend the entire front area was under product change over for Christmas--as a retired Retail executive, such major turnovers of product should NEVER be done during the shopping day inconveniencing the shopper. I have looked on three separate occasions for replacement bulbs for my outdoor lighting--no only out of stock, "no idea" when getting back. Earlier this summer I asked for assistance loading mulch into my vehicle. The checkout person instructed me to drive my car up to the outdoor area and she would call for assistance. So I drove up to the outdoor area and waited...and waited. I had to go back to the garden entrance and interrupt the cashier as I'd been waiting for 15 minutes. She again requested help....they never came and I had to load the mulch alone. The management is failing to sufficiently anticipate customer demand for propane tank swaps--on FOUR separate occasions I have been unable to get a tank on weekend

Clean, knowledgeable employees, overall good experience.
