Love this store! The employees have ALWAYS been helpful! If you ask a question about where something is located in a store, somehow, they ALL know where to direct you! I have been asked many times if I needed anything... overall, just a nice place to shop. The employees are ready to help, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Horrible experience when purchasing kitchen appliances at this store. Customer service person was friendly but did not verify appliances upon order to ensure the item numbers matched what we wanted. Apparently wrong item number was on the fridge we thought we ordered. At delivery, the wrong fridge was in the truck and wasn't known until our original fridge was taken apart so we were okay'd to keep the new, incorrect fridge as a loaner until we ordered and received the new one. Went to the store same day to get correct fridge ordered and it was no longer available and I was told I was the 2nd customer in complaining of the exact same error. The only model of this fridge available was the floor model but I was told I'd have to delivery myself plus it had a couple dents/scratches so I went with the next, closest model, which was sadly $1000 more than what we paid. Was only offered a couple hundred off the price, even with the store error, but figured it was the best I'd get. Went with this one and waited another week for delivery to find out the new one was scratched up on the front door so we had to send it back and am now waiting again. Not to mention, the delivery men had no knowledge of picking up the loaner fridge. Very frustrated with this experience! Home Depot needs to get their act together and improve customer outcomes PLUS offer discounts to customer when it's the store's error!!!!

The employees at this store are rude and unhelpful. The staff at Menards and Lowe’s are much better, and worth the extra few minutes drive.

This is normally a very helpful and convenient smaller Home Depot store. I shop it regularly. However, today was a surreal experience with associate after associate going out of their way to avoid helping out customers in the lumber dept. The manager was busy. Other associates were talking to each other and avoiding customers, one was engrossed in inventory of fasteners, while 5 customers waited in the lumber dept, which had no one in attendance. I honestly thought that they were on some kind of work-to-union rules directive. Very disappointed with my overall experience at my favorite store today.

Sue in the paint department at the Richfield location is, knowledgeable. pleasant and extremely customer focused!

I have moved from Richfield but I find myself returning to this Home Depot store. They always have items well stocked and employees are friendly and helpful.

Everyone (except the day guy in appliances) is tremendous to work with!!! Have been using this store for my business needs for the last few years (including going there instead of other home depots)

Top notch

The over al store is great. But there is a lady at check out named Ruth that seems to target certain people at checkout. And I Wil leave it at that. And would give it 5 stars if this lady would stop targeting certain people. Also would recommend this store if they would give her more training in customer service.

The employees are always so friendly and helpful. Store is well organized and stock. Also super dog friendly.

This store is terrific. They have tons of stuff at great prices and if they don’t have what you want, they will get it for you. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Great service, great people, great products.

The Richfield Home Depot has become my go-to place for my home improvement needs. The staff is friendly & helpful, plus, the store is clean & well organized. With everything I'd possibly need, there is NO reason to shop elsewhere!

My cashier, Catherine, was awesome. It's a good home depot, all the home depot stuff in there.

I was greeted and offered assistance promptly and shown to the correct item. I was directed here from another THD store nearby. That other location had no fittings available, yet their store indicated 9 in stock. At this location, I needed 4 plumbing fittings. I found 3, yet inventory showed 15 in store. I did find my needed fourth fitting which was misplaced on the shelf. THD needs better inventory control.

Where to start? I am a single mom, Retired Army Veteran (Combat Action Badge, Bronze Star…) who bought a house right around the corner from Home Depot in Richfield, MN (2012). The gratitude I have for the employees at this store is beyond words. I don’t have much family and most of my repairs/ maintenance are done by myself. It can be extremely trying taking care of a home alone. Especially as a woman and single mom. I recently visited the store for a simple drill bit to fix my dishwasher. For the past year, I’ve had plans to paint my kitchen cupboards and do updates. Unfortunately, this past February/March caused havoc on my life. My roof collapsed, along with the ceiling and the basement flooded. I had to fight my insurance company, but lucked out with a new roof. My basement was of course, not covered. Then, this past month, my furnace went out, along with my dishwasher. It’s been a year of homeownership nightmares! Nonetheless, I needed to write you guys about this store and a particular employee, Sergio. He works in the paint department, but knows EVERYTHING! Over the past several years, he has gone way above and beyond any other customer service experience I can recall. His advise and patience has saved me likely thousands! I came to the store last week and was grateful to see him as I walked into the store. We greeted each other and I explained I just needed a drill bit and asked if he knew where I should look. Not only did he walk me to the appropriate isle, he explained why one bit was better than the other. We reminisced a bit about my past year and the nightmare I’ve dealt with. I then told him I was thinking of a different color for my cupboards and he explained why a darker color would not serve my intent etc. By the way, I was able to fix my dishwasher. ☺ Sergio has helped with paint, home insulation, drywall, flooring, plants… you name it. I called the store to express my gratitude and the super polite and receptive manager, Reno, asked if I had my receipt. Which I didn’t as I tossed it on my way out the door. As such, I revisited the store specifically to get a receipt to write this review (which I NEVER do). Thank you,, Sergio, thank you Reno, thank you Home Depot for your endless support of Veterans. My endless respect and gratitude.

Always find what I need and the employees always go the extra mile to help.

It's the best Home Depot I've ever shop at. Most of the time I can find the products I am looking for. I can always get assistance if I need one. The associates is very Knowledgeable

I had a terrible experience at Home Depot today. I walked over to the Pro Desk to be rung up and the associate pointed to the long line and told me he couldn't ring me up. One register was open with seven people in line. Finally, an associate called for back-up cashiers and I was told to go back to the Pro Desk. The employee who couldn't ring me up walked away and was hiding by the ladders while someone else rung me up.
