Ross was incredibly helpful and diligent. He helped me chose the right tools, and even guided to to ways to get the best deal by bundling multiple tools. He also helped research items to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed!

I want to commend 3 employees: Christian in Hardware/Power tools and Gabby and Daisy at the registers. With only one item left in stock, Christian was kind enough to put aside and carry a very large saw for me all via a phone call. Gabby and Daisy were able to help me with registration of a Home Depot credit card, and also very patient when there were difficulties during checkout. They were quick to find solutions and all of the aforementioned staff were incredibly helpful. All of them working late on 4th of July during a pandemic!

Store is well maintained and there are so many employees to help you out. Good part about this store you get that special attention as a customer and all your questions get answered. Employees are knowledgeable to answer questions when you are a tech savy and ask so many questions. Easy to navigate around and you can find all your things you need for this weekend. Wish Home Depot carry more variety of plants and hope they maintain their plants better. Looking forward to do more shopping on appliances here as we get a better price compared to other stores.

This store has employees in every department that are very knowledgeable about the department they work in plus other departments as well. Because of employees being so knowable it is always easy for me to find someone who can help with questions I might have about a repair or project I am working on. Highly recommend shopping at the SE Austin location!

My experience at this store was outstanding. As I walked in the cleanliness and organization of the store stood out, shelves fully stocked to the max and no carts blocking isles. Employees (all three I encountered) were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Mike know's what he's doing when it comes to questions in Garden and Hardware. When I talk about a tool I don't know the name of. Mike know's exactly what I'm talking about. Thank you <3

Cashier Cam in the garden center was such a delight. The minute I walked up she greeted me with a huge smile. The young lady in the cleaning department helped me immediately. She wore glasses and short hair. Very nice. I was not impressed with Michael who works in the customer service department. I asked him to find me some help purchasing a camera. Help never came and I had to wait for an employee to walk by to ask for help. Overall, the staff was nice and helpful. The store was cluttered and It was tough finding what I was looking for. Selections are limited.

All around great place and people to go with it.

Checked out an auger late Friday evening around 9pm. The young man that helped me was really nice. He did forget to include the pin to keep the auger attached to the machine though. Therefore I couldn't use it. I brought it back the next day around 5pm. Pretty upset because I've already wasted an entire day of work and had to pick up someone else's vehicle to get the tool. Plus I live in the country so there was hours of driving included in this nonsense. I get back to the shop and this old man is mad that I didn't call and tell him I was missing a part. I'm like ya'll have wasted enough of my time I didn't know I needed to call and tell you didn't do your job and give me a complete tool. He then started to talk about how he can't give me a full refund and I said let me talk with your manager. To my surprise he told me he was the manager. He told me I could've stuck a bold in it and used it. I said I didn't have a bolt and it's not my tool I'm not going to start retrofitting it and hope it doesn't break. I didn't like his attitude he was very rude and defensive. I lost a whole day of work and about $60 and this manager was an absolute jerk to me. They did give me a refund, but it felt like I had to fight for it. A gift card for them wasting all my time would've been nice. All I wanted was some customer service and someone to say sorry. He didn't say sorry until I was leaving. Very unimpressed and will never ever rent anything from these jerks. The manager needs to learn how to treat customers. I'm sure people rip off Home Depot all the time for tool rental. I was not one of those and can't believe I was treated like one. It's not like it comes out of the manager's pocket. It's Home Depot they just write it off. I checked too and there was another auger just sitting on the shelf. So they didn't loose any money anyway. Avoid this place not worth the headache of getting treated like trash for their errors.

At this store, ask for help. I found the employees knowledgeable, and devoted to getting customers what they need — no matter how small or unusual the need.

very poor customer service. sales staff goofing around. I would ask a question and get a 10 min long irrelevant story about nothing. no help at all! never coming back to this store. can't believe people think its ok to treat customers this way.

Employees are always helpful and friendly.

This store rarely provides any degree of customer service. Returns are often a hassle because employees don't take time to listen to customers. Often, I follow every HD rule only to get refused at return desk. I generally see very little workers engaged in customer service. I know the handful of experts in each dept if I can track them down. Otherwise, one gets little to no help.

Although everyone seemed friendly and helpful, Nick was outstanding. He was very personable and helpful.

Store located at IH 35 and Woodward the friendliest HOME DEPOT Community Store in Austin. Lots of veterans work there and have the friendliest and courteous employees.

All employees were responsive, courteous. Only problem brown gutters were not in stock.

I normally have no problems with this Home Depot. It’s a normal Home Depot. Kathy did a comically bad job at checking us out today... which I already wrote about on the checkout review thing but I wanted to make sure to point out the guy who made us keys was super nice. Even though one of the key machines wasn’t working right he was really kind and apologetic about it. I know stuff goes wrong sometimes but I appreciate how he handled it.
