Many friendly and helpful associates! I typically prefer more full service hardware stores like Ace, because they are always eager to help. This Home Depot location surprised me with the level of help. Customer service is everything!

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, above and beyond for a good cause!!! Thank you Arnold and Joel!!! I am an avid shopper in home depot and today Arnold (store manager) and Joel (he helped me find nuts and bolts) were simply awesome! Arnold took the time and this is outside of the store's assistance, to make me a wood box with various hole sizes. I am a therapist and often work with patients who have had a stroke leaving one side of their body weaker than the other. This wood box allows the men (and any woman who is interested) to get back to work during their therapy sessions by identifying the correct size of nut and bolt to go into each hole requiring bilateral hand use. This allows the patient to feel like they are accomplishing a goal and working with wood is a familiar past time that can promote participation in therapy. Thank you 1000x to both Arnold and Joel who are exemplary workers within your store. PLEASE be certain to recognize them both and others, many who work in customer service, can learn a lot about how to interact with customers in your store. ABOVE and BEYOND! Bog hugs to them both... very satisfied customer!

I shop at the Scottsdale Home Depot all the time. It is a clean, friendly and well stocked store that meets my needs. It is always my first choice for plants and home repair needs.

I have worked on two condo remodels in the past year and Home Depot employees have been very knowledgeable and helpful with that process including electrical, plumbing, kitchen cabinets, lighting, landscaping and paint. Thank you Home Depot.

This is the friendliest store. Everyone is always ready to help. I always find my needs here. Just purchased blinds for my entire condo here. Love them! The staff are always ready to help and are knowledgeable about the needs of a 'lady in despair'. Should I win this prize, I would spend much more and do a total remodel of my kitchen...new cabinets and appliances, granite counters~so, there's money in it for you~ :)

Everything was fine until check out. I suspect the problem is the same as other businesses. They cut the payroll to save money. Why do you think they put those self checkout registers in. I went to check out and not one register was open with an employee. I walked down to the contractors door and attempted to checkout at the one open register there. It appeared the check out person was somewhat new as she appeared confused. She was attempting to check out a large purchase with gift cards. She was having problems and got on the phone two different times. I assume she was calling for help. No one ever arrived. The customer was trying to show her how to do it. I waited about fifteen minutes watching this fiasco. I finally gave up, removed my products from the counter and went to another register that had since opened. Employee there told me she had just got back from lunch. I guess when it is time to eat they just close the registers and offer only self check out. Where the heck was the store managers. They surely were not around to help the poor girl stuck trying to figure out her register. Hey maybe they were at lunch with the others??? If this ever happens again I will strictly shop at Lowes from that point on. This is totally unexcuseable. How do you run a store with NO checkstands open? What is more important? Customer service or save money on wages? I think I know the answer!

Terry at HD in Scottsdale & Shea attempted help me return 3 of the 4 items I purchased. One item was used, I went out of my way to show her that everything was back in the box as listed. Terry couldn't find the used item on my receipt & stated "I need an ID because you don't have a receipt for this item" but I showed her it was there. Terry then proceeded to say "I still need to see your ID, because how do we know that you really bought these items on the day you say you did and didn't just pick them up today?"

Julie and Sam provide outstanding assistance in the home remodel department. If you need practical, cost-effective ideas see either of them. Wonderful experience!

I received exceptional service from an employee, Mike D., when I was searching for a replacement knob for my shower control. He took an amazing amount of time trying to find the exact item I needed, double-checked that it was right, then took the time to tell me how to install it, giving me tips to make the job easier. He had such a pleasant personality and sense of humor. Because of him, I will definitely bring my business to this store again, even though it's not the closest Home Depot to my home.

This store is conveniently located in the northern part of Scottsdale just off the freeway. The store was clean and the employees were friendly and helpful.

I use Home Depot a lot and visit a number of them in both Kansas and Arizona.Rob at this store makes the visit a much more pleasant experience. Rob at this store is a gem and represents the employees and company well.

Quick access to self check-out, and friendly service. The team is getting stronger at this Home Depot!

Today was our first time shopping at this store. What is helpful is that this homedepot is arranged just like the one in Batavia, ny which is the one we normally go to. We didn't have to go looking,we found the items that we needed right away. It's not like Walmart. They recently opened a brand new super Walmart in Webster, ny and it was such a pain looking for things. We wasted so much time walking up and down the aisle looking.
