So, I wanted to take advantage of the Spring deal that HD does - the lawnmower I wanted was almost half off, AND the HD credit card was offering 0% financing for 6 months, **AND** also a free $100 when making a large tool or appliance purchase. I was approved for the card but only for $500, of which the lawnmower was $3k. This girl took the time to call Citibank and ask if they could raise the credit limit for me, and they did! Then she discovered that the delivery date may be a couple weeks out, so she made some more calls (while effortlessly helping other customers occasionally) and got the delivery date moved up to two days’ time. Even my delivery people were amazing, friendly people. Overall I would give this lawnmower buying experience a 10/10!

The lack of empathy and unwillingness to assist or navigate us through the resolution process was disheartening, especially given the challenge of shopping with a young child. The Silver Lining: Despite these challenges, I believe there’s room for improvement. The store itself offers a variety of products that cater to a wide range of needs, and it’s clear that with the right customer service approach, shopping here could be a delight. The environment is welcoming, and the product selection is commendable. Constructive Feedback: I urge the managerial staff to consider training focused on customer service excellence and empathy, especially for families shopping with young children. A more hands-on and compassionate approach to customer concerns can transform a stressful situation into a positive, loyal customer relationship. Implementing a clear process for addressing product issues and customer dissatisfaction could greatly improve the overall customer experience.

If you have small children then please do not take it to homedepot they had big dog walking around with no leash and all the employees did not do anything about it they was too busy rubbing the dog then helping you with anything . I was trying to take a picture of the dog but he was running away . Also they aisle always closed like this everytime you go to homedepot and people calls the manager on the pager and they never answer the pager or come talks to u

I have paid for 2 vanities, I need the wrong one picked up and credit issued

The night manager Brian @4176 Franklin Rd, Roanoke, VA 24014 is an asset to the company!! I had a small issue and he was able to guickly handle my issue. He engages the customers and has a can do helpful attitude. That's hard to find in most retail store anymore. I'm a Home Depot customer for life because of how well I was taken care of!!!

Never once has any body not gone out of their to speak or help me find what I'm looking for even if it's across the store. Will pass other store to go to this one.

Had a fantastic experience working with Alan in the appliance section. He was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and fantastic customer service. This is my second time dealing with him, and I will highly recommend him if someone I know was looking for an appliance in the future to go see him. He pointed some things out that I didn’t even think about when purchasing my fridge.

When I walk through the door a gentleman name Keith was there and I told him that I needed to buy 40 pound bucket of product, but could not lift it so he saw me through the whole process and check out and loaded in my car. He was just a wonderful person. He’s a retired marine veteran whom I’m thankful for. Lorraine at checkout was so happy and friendly. Just made my day!

There was a time, not so long ago, when I sang The Home Depot's praises. I refused to shop at the big box store across the road on 220 for multiple reasons. Recently, however, The Home Depot has really been letting me down in numerous ways. I have a PRO-X account and have had multiple problems in the past few months with absolutely no resolution. It really doesn't seem like anyone I speak to in the company cares about any of my issues, no matter how many thousands of dollars I spend with them. It's also becoming more prevalent that items I need or am looking for are not in stock. No tool rental?? WHY, Roanoke?? Prior to moving to Roanoke two years ago, I lived in a very small town in Kansas, and that store had a very large volume of tools available to rent. I hope I can find another local option to start doing business with, because I am just about done with Home Depot.

Have exactly what I needed

My husband and I are subcontractors and we have seen a decline in customer service since 2020. But today the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Ridge was honest about learning the plumbing department. But he went above and beyond in finding answers and providing service. Austin was kind and helpful at loading our truck with Ridge. Even James at checkout was very helpful and polite. It never fails I find one thing that doesn’t have a bar code and he handed it quickly. I’m very happy with the service today.

ANN was so helpful in garden area and friendly. Lots of choices for flowers.
