Purchased a large tool chest for my husband and Sandra (cashier/associate) was very helpful! Chest was already assembled in the store and Sandra disassembled it for me into two pieces so it could be loaded into my vehicle. They loaded it up quickly and I was on my way in no time. Great service!

The new trend of having almost no employees and no human check outside needs to STOP! It's almost winter and we couldn't find non electric heaters, generators, or even ice melt

My purchase was in the lighting Department. The associate was great. She knew her stuff and offered her assistance upon me entering the department. She was training a gentleman and he to will make a fine associate because she's training him well. I highly recommend, Happy Customer!

i VISIT THIS STORE OFTEN AND EVERY VISIT SOMEONE APPROACHES ME WITH A FRIENDLY SMILE ASKING IF I NEED HELP FINDING ANYTHING. THIS STORE IS ALWAYS CLEAN AND EVERYTHING IS NEAT AND ORDERLY. I LOVE GOING TO THIS HOME DEPOT! I WILL CONTINUE TO SHOP AT THIS STORE FOR HOME REPAIR ITEMS, PAINT, ETC.

The lady that checked me out was very helpful to me. She actually improved my mood before I left the store and I felt good that I had come to the store to get the stuff I was looking for. And it was very nice as I left she wished me a Merry Christmas.

If you need anything for home or business this is the place to get them. Best selection of everything you would need for any project and with excellent prices. Helpful associates when you can find them. Bathrooms are clean and spotless as is the walkways. These managers take customer service one step beyond the normal. Thank you. Setting up a store in Rocky Mount, Va would be a nice Christmas present!

Very clean and organized store. I love looking through the kitchen displays! I always end up seeing something I need that I didn't know I needed!

I was greeted immediately upon entering the store by Jose who quickly directed me to the area I needed. I found the 'dowel' I needed. There was a gentleman using the saw that the store provides for its customers. Since this is not a place I visit often, I didn't realize the man using the saw wasn't an employee. Altho, he mentioned he wasn't wearing an orange apron. However, with that said, he graciously took my dowel and cut it for me. Teresa checked me out and was very friendly and encouraged me to fill out the survey. She suggested that I mention the friendly, cooperative customers as well as employees. So customers and employees are very friendly!! I was in and out in 15 minutes.

I've never met any friendlier and helpful workers. And they all seemed very happy to be at work, and happy with each other.

This is my preferred store to shop at for home improvement in the Roanoke area. It has the best selection of items, hands down, and is always tidy and organized. The one issue that I have had, consistently, is finding an associate to help me with questions or locating items. Since they have removed those convenient buttons (no doubt because kids mess with them), I have had to either stand around or hunt down an associate to help me. And, when I do finally find someone, they rarely know where the items are that I need or have to call over a different associate to answer my very specific questions. It's all good if you know exactly what you are looking for and where it is. If you don't, then make sure you have your questions ready for the greeter.

Each associate approached me asking me if I needed help. As well, the returns cashier called me over to her line and there was not one minute of waiting to check out. Impressive!

Employees at this store are excellent! In most chain retail store, I have to track someone down for help. Not at this store - I had offers from almost every employee who was not already assisting someone. I did not have to wait in line and the checkout was extremely fast. I expected my visit to take some time. Instead, it only took 20 minutes for me to find the items I wanted and to check out. I also appreciate the cheerfulness of the employees despite it being less 30 minutes away from the store closing. That's hard to find!

employees where friendly,store was clean and they had the item that I had searched for in seven other stores and coulnt find I found here I was sooo happy!

I had been to a number of stores in Roanoke to buy a green light to show my support of our veterans, everyone was sold out. My Last stop was at Home Depot. Soon as I walked in the store doors an employee met me and took me to the lights. He told me that in addition to the lights on hand he had a number of green lights coming in. Every employee I met in the store asked if I needed help. And a couple thanked me for my service (Viet Nam vets were not use to being appreciated, it feels good) This will be my store from now on. Jay was awesome in her knowledge of the mowers, the benefits, how they are unique in their features. She is by far the best associate I have ever worked with in any home improvement store!

I worked with Cindy in the flooring section - she was very friendly and extremely helpful.

There is something unhurried and calm in the atmosphere here. The isles are broad and brightly lit, the sales associates always seem like they enjoy working here, unstressed and jovial, as if they have all day to service the customer. Maybe it's a Southern thing, or maybe it's a Home Depot thing. I'll take either. :)

Jay Logan on the "Pro Counter" made this a much easier experience then it could have been. I had 28 line items to locate and pull which Jay helped me with. He was there to help with every question in concern. The store itself was a good experience as well on every level. The only shortcoming was not having all of a couple tile items in stock, but Jay got them transferred for me.

Love this store.....always clean, helpful employees, well stocked, and the best products and prices in town. :-)

Let's keep it simple: EVERY associate that I met greeted me and offered assistance. I wish every retailer could take a lesson from these people. I trust you will have a great Christmas with such helpful associates.

I like doing DIY home improvement projects and have found that this is a great place to shop, because the associates in the departments I visit know the products and are very helpful. all you have to do is ask!!
