There doesn't seem to be anyone to help with anything. I purchased 8 bags of play sand and I could not find anyone to help me get it off the shelf. I waited 45 minutes until I could wait no longer. I had to go to customer service to get my money back.

After an extremely disappointing visit to the Novi Home Depot recently, I was pleasantly surprised at my visit to the Southfield location on the 4th of July. I was returning items & purchasing new items, and had my 2 toddlers in tow. From the moment I walked in, I was cheerfully greeted by a festively adorned-associate who offered my sons popsicles (which I politely declined as I didn't want to deal with that mess!). She then directed me to the aisles that I needed for the items I was seeking (kitchen backsplash tiles & blinds). In the tile aisle, I received help from another friendly & knowledgeable associate who not only helped me with my item selection, but she asked me several questions about my project and offered suggestions of other products to make the job easier / more convenient or other ways to save money. She also helped load the items into my cart and escorted me to the check out lanes. The check out associate also had fun, festive head gear that my boys enjoyed. She interacted with them & also offered them popsicles! On our way out, more enthusiastic employees were grilling up & offering free hot dogs! I now know that completing a home project on a holiday weekend is not only possible, but more tolerable thanks to the employees of this location. Or any other day I'd imagine as well.

We only like to shop at this location. They had a party during the forth of July which was great for the family. We had a great time.

On my recent visit to the store, my experience with extremely successful due to an associate from Kitchens and Appliances. Both these individuals were very helpful and my visit wouldn't have been as pleasant without them. In Blinds the associate from Kitchens assisted in cutting 22 blinds when no one else was available to assist. In Appliances we were able to purchase the appliances that matched our budget. Both these individuals should receive a bonus! Sincerely, Very satisfied customer!

This is a great store to shop in. The store manager and the associates are so helpful in finding what part you need for your job.

On every occasion of shopping at #2711 Southfield, my experiences have been EXCELLENT! The primary reason: Associates are both professionally skilled and personally supportive. "Love" the place and its personnel!!

The store is well stocked with merchandise. Sales associates are very helpful.

No one came to help me. I had to select the Chainsaw and take it to the cashier.

Everything I need for the house and yard I can find at Home Depot. I don't need to go anywhere else.

This is a great place to shop. Everything was so easy to find that I found things I had forgotten that I needed. Will continue to shop here often!

I was in need of assistance in obtaining some new hardware for a door. The associate was assisting me, and was interrupted by another customer which left me hanging and forced to attempt to figure out what I should get. He eventually came back to me but I wondered why he felt that he needed to stop assisting to assist someone else. I ended up not purchasing any new hardware. I went to the carpet dept and there was no one available to assist me. I found what I needed on my own. The check out clerk was helpful and friendly. While I was in the carpet dept. there were other customers sitting in the desk chairs for the employees that are supposed to be assisting. I will return to Home Depot because they are convenient to me. But thought they should up their game.

I needed help finding a product, and then assistance loading heavy items into my cart & car. Staff were right there with the information and help that I needed. The store was clean, well-stocked, and check-out was well-managed -- no slow lanes.

The Nursery was well stocked, isles clean and good customer service.

It is a pleausre to go into a store find what you need and have workers that enjoy assisting!

Knew what I needed. Some items are not placed in "intuitive" locations. For example, I was looking for dowels, I finally found them in the moulding a action. Intuitively, I first looked in the lumber section.

This was my second visit to the flooring section. The lights were bright, plenty of carpet to choose from and a sales associate was there to help.

The female employees seemed much more genuine in their interest to assist customers. The male employees seemed only interested if it was their department; then only grudgingly.

The employees in Home depot are always helpful and encouraging...this place is second to none:)

The sales associates were soooooooo helpful, especially at the Tool Rental desk. This is the 3rd time I have rented from Southfield Home Depot and Paul is exceptional!

I love shopping at this Home Depot! The store is really well-organized and there are always helpful employees available to asisst with my questions. The store is easy to shop and they have multiple assistant-operated checkouts and 4 self-checkouts to use when I have all my stiuff. Overall just a really wonderful shopping experience.

I am always so impressed by this stores associates and managers. There are always staff members ready to help and they are very knowledgable and friendly. You are hiring great people at this location!
