Magic chef chest freezer
I went with my dad to buy Magic Chef chest freezer. They gave us this one. When we noticed the damage in the box, the employee insisted that the damage is superficial and stupidly we believed her. When we arrived home, we discovered that the freezer is dented! We can't take it back because it's a lot of work and we don't even have her name or even a proof that she lied to us! We are paying the price of trusting one of your horrible employees.

        People Willing to Assist
        I travel the extra mile to do my shopping at the Forest Avenue location 2501 Forest Avenue, rather than the Staten Island East location 545 Targee Street. More of a positive, friendly atmosphere and personnel willing to assist with a smile.

                Product availability
                The workers in the store should not point and say it’s in aisle …. They should give you customer service and bring you to the item you are looking for.

                  I walked in some what lost, but the salesperson made me feel at ease. We started with the measurements I needed and then looked for the right refrigerator. All good from beginning to end. Thank you

                      I was in the process of purchasing a furnace filter when a checkout assistant brought to my attention that if I purchased four filters I would only be paying the price of two filters. I went back and picked up the additional filters and saved 50% on the four. Great advice!

                        Product selection and staff are good. The store has one major fault: no-one answers the phone. If you found a pay phone you wouldn't have enough nickels.

                            Was looking for a toilet bolts and seal set but can't find it in the store. It's available on the website but has to wait for shipping.

                              Home Depot has the worst customer service there’s no reason why a customer should have to wait an hour for someone to come and help them also they give you the run around returning items I tried returning an unopened grout mix and they are telling me it’s not scanning I had the receipt and everything.

                                  HDX Pump Spayer inferior quality to Scotts
                                  The HDX 2 gallon Pump Sprayer is a very inferior product to the Scott's 2 gallon sprayer. The HDX does not stay pressurized and there isn't a fan spay ability. I will return the product to the store look for a Scotts Sprayer online.

                                          I want to personally, thank Karen, from the Forest Ave store who went above and beyond to help me. I was looking for a certain item which wasn’t in stock when I first requested it. She asked me would it be OK if I leave my phone number so when the item becomes available, she can personally call me. Guess what I did and so did she! She called me as soon as it was available and put it to the side for me for pick up. This was truly phenomenal. She was so kind, diligent. She gave the best customer service imaginable. She went above and beyond and did it with kindness, that’s something a lot of stores lack today…so thank you so much, Karen. I really appreciate it.

                                            This store used to be pretty good, but now it is going down hill. It needs more workers who know about the supplies that are sold there, and better management to keep up with the demand.

                                                I always enjoy visiting Home Depot as a gardening resource. Of course, on the way to the garden areas I'm always happy to browse and purchase items in various other departments that offer endless resources for Home improvement!

                                                  The store itself is good. But the parking lot and inside the store is packed with illegal migrants. I did not feel safe leaving my work vehicle in the lot un attended. I was shocked they didn’t break into it. Also when you’re walking in the parking lot and in the store the illegal migrants just bombard you and harass you. You honestly feel unsafe. For these reasons I will not be attending this store anymore.

                                                    Employee lied to customer said return policy is only 30 days
                                                    I went in to return an online order. Those staffs already have an attitude problem. First said the item was used and they can’t accept the return. Finally proof it was not used they came up with the 2nd excuses saying their return policy is only 30 days. What a lied! 3 of those staffs were just standing there and talking with each other and didn’t want to do the work.

                                                          Products didn't match spec's
                                                          Advertised a 16.46 inch wide AC that turned out to be19.3 inches wide. I called customer service several times but they kept picking up the call but not answering them, eventually just hanging up on me.

                                                            Cashier was unhappy I came to her and told me to the other side where other cashiers are. I hv so much back pain at the time. Helped me unwillingly and I told her she can help her customers above and beyond by helping me and to put a smile on her face. Instead she turned her back on me and speak to the other cashier. If you’re miserable helping people, then this is not the right job for you.
