Home Depot, Syosset is my one-stop shopping for anything home-goods related. Has been for some time now. During my last trip there, a sales associate named Andrew went above and beyond to help me. I could not be more pleased with the entire shopping experience! Until we meet again, Home Depot... (which will be very soon).

Best Home Depot on Long Island. The staff is largely composed of ex or retired tradesmen. They can help and offer advice!

Excellent experience at the Syosset Home Depot! Earlier in the week I had a terrible experience at the Jericho tool rental. And will never return to that store. But I would absolutely come back here every day into my business. I’ve been spending my money at Home Depot for years and will continue to come to the store. The employees are awesome

Bought a bunch of items, charges appear as pending almost immediately on my card. Returned one of those items, refund does not appear on card 2 days later. What a joke, Home Depot is playing a game with your credit card. Does not make me want to shop there again.

The cashier was completely clueless. Michele was in a hurry to leave as her shift had ended. She could not figure out how to work the register so she made it another cashier's problem. It was 6:10 PM (EST) and her shift ended at 6:00 PM EST so she told us to get back in line and the next cashier would help us. Which was pointless. The next cashier was not any better. Did not know what she was doing but she did seem like she was new. A manager came to help us but the first interaction was bad. All these could have been prevented with proper training. The cashiers had no clue how to process returns when they accessed two systems. They kept locking the order and we waited 30 minutes to get our returns processed ~ that is a ridiculously long time for a return

TIME AND AGAIN THIS STORE HAS SHOWN BRILLIANCE IN CUSTOMER CARE AND LOGISTICAL SOLUTIONS, USUALLY AT THEIR EXPENSE..

CSR woman was so rude and not kind.

I was so happy with my shopping experience today when i walked in i was created by an employee and she introduced her self her name was azra she helped me get everything i needed and checkout was a breeze the store over all was also clean and great will come here all the time for my home projects

I could not find anyone to help me

I was very pleased to find an employee immediately to ask for help. In addition, Sabina asked me if I would like to come to her cashier station instead of waiting in line for the self checkout. She was most pleasant.

The assistant manager, Anthony, of this store is awful, has extremely poor customer service skills. Should have never been promoted to manager, could care less about his customers. Tonya a customer/sales associate is fantastic! She should be managing the store. She resolved the mess than Anthony created. She went way beyond what I expected. She needs to be recognized for exhibiting excellent customer service and problem resolution skills.

Great store to shop in. If your doing an outdoor lighting project, make sure to see Chris in that dept.

You need to do a better job in the lumber department, maybe start by replacing the employee who is responsible for ordering lumber. Empty shelves.... really!

This is a great store with friendly helpful staff and is well stocked. It is neatly arranged and clean.

On Thursday September 17th 2020 at approximately 6 pm I went to Home Depot in Syosset, New York. I came to home depot looking for paint that I needed for a project. A female representative behind the paint desk was nothing but rude and not willing to help during my shopping experience. I would mention the name of the representative but her name was not clearly visible on her apron. A little background of myself, I have a speech disability and speaking clearly can be difficult, especially when I am tired. Therefore when I asked a question, she refused to assist and said "Whatever we have over there." Furthermore, my ethnic background is Indian. I do also believe that this played a roll in how I was treated. The reason for this is because I firsthand observed this representative speak to other individuals and she was kind and courteous. However, when it came to me she was not. I did finally receive assistance from a representative named Ross. Ross assistance was excellent and I would recommend if you go to the paint section at this store, ask for his assistance.

Shelves are in disarray and empty and there’s only one checkout line for cash purchases

After purchasing around $400 in materials I rented a truck for 19.00 that was meant to be used between 7:15pm and 9:00am the next morning. I screwed up and was sandwiched for time the next morning - so stopping to fuel the truck up caused me to be 10 minutes late. If I knew the late charge was going to be 600% the price of the rental, I wouldn't have fueled it up. I ended up being charged a little over $140 for a $20 rental, for being 10 minutes late on a 14 hour rental. While I acknowledge this is largely my fault, I am still dissatisfied with Home Depot for the following reasons: - When I rented the vehicle, there was nor warning of the late charge. Had I known being late 1 minute would septuple the rental price I would have made much more of an effort to be punctual. - I spoke with the manager on duty at the location explaining why I was late (gassing up the vehicle). He was pretty standoffish which was surprising, given the unexpected nature of the late charge and said there was nothing to be done - which I have my own reservations about.
