The employees are not helpful or knowledgeable, and the one who assisted me was rude as well.

Your employees forget what is meant by customer service.

I went to get plants for my garden and outdoor containers. For some reason many of the plants inside the store outdoor area (as opposed to the ones in front of the store) looked fried by the sun. Many didn't have information tags. Unfortunately, when I asked associates for info about the plants I was interested in, no one knew anything and just referred me to plants with tags. On the plus side, there was a large selection of plants for every garden area and application. The prices were reasonable and the associates were friendly - if not knowledgeable.

I was interrupted as the Self Checkout by a Home Depot Associate, not to help me, but to ask if I wanted to get a Home Depot Credit Card. No personality, just you can get $50 off. When I declined, he mumbled something under his breath and walked away. Waste of Time!!!

Mary in gardening was so helpful and kind. We need more people like her around. I will visit Home Depot in Valleystream again and will stop by just to say hi to Mary.

The check out line has improved as it used to be cluttered. Customer service is not the best. The parking lot needs to be redesigned. Exiting is a problem due to traffic from adjacent parking lots and the bottleneck it creates. The removal of all the tractor trailers creating blind spots is a plus but there needs to be parking barriers/stops to avoid accidents from drivers driving across parking spots to get to the main road. This is the least safe Home Depot parking lot Ive ever been to.

I received an email thanking me for a purchase i did not make. someone went in your store and was able to open an account under my name, no one at your company knows what info was provided, they made a purchase and walked out. I called your store and asked to speak with the manager about this but he was too busy. Where is the phone on your web site to call about fraud and speak with a human??

Stood waiting for half an hour. No help. Asked members for help. Got This is not My department. Paged Three times no one came. Went And found the manager of the store for help. My check out was the Best thing in the store. My cashier was the sweetest Lady you could find.

One employee, especially profiled me and explain to me that I shouldn't be expecting a product that I was buying and I did purchase that product but knowing the location, I'm at one of them make sure all the following material was there. He was impolite obviously has no manners and definitely does not know how to talk to other human beings as an equal. I will not attend this one and I do belong to the pro club throughout the state and I am high spender on a residential equipment for my projects.

They are trying to get you out the door faster. Great. My experience with store pick up last year was dreadful but I hope that it got better

Lack of employees long lines no one around to unlock the bathroom have to go to multiple Home Depot’s to get everything for your project

Unfortunately just every other NYC Home Depot, it’s hard to find employees who wish to help when you have a question. Last month, I visited a few Home Depots in Hialeah, Florida and I was very impressed with how helpful everyone was.

Home Depot is Ok buy the Employees take the time to should show you where the item is located instead of just telling which Isle.

Bought yesterday, easy to install reasonable price

I went in looking for a few things and an employee by the name of Mike was soooo helpful. He really made my experience at the store easy.

Minimal wait to be waited on which is good but salesperson was not very knowledgeable. Hope I revise items I want. Long wait time for some simple window screens. Over a month!

You are your own sales person at this store. Very sad! Was told off by two staff members who forgot how much they wanted their jobs. Not a place I desire to share my hard earned monies with. This store an overhaul in their training and operation style where customer service is concerned

Could never find someone to help

Nick who works in the flooring department in this location is an excellent employee. He is very kind and accommodating to all of his customers. I won't go to anyone else there because I trust him and enjoy working with him in making sure things are done properly.

I enjoy coming to this store location but the cashier had a power trip. That left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

This is one of your better locations as there is nobody outside, hounding us for work and your staff is much more kinder compared to your other locations. I will note that Claudia definitely made this a better experience upon our departure and you guys are doing a good job. Keep it up.

The amount of people hustling you in the parking lot for Day Labor work is insane and people hustling you in the isles for "delivery" of what ever it is you are buying. Customer Return females ALL have attitude issues.
