This trip was to fix an unrelated issue with Behr paint (purchased at this store) that had apparently gone bad, making my entire house smell like rotten eggs. I needed paint and primer to cover it up and eliminate the odor. I asked the paint expert to mix a gallon of paint and a quart of primer. When I got home, I realized he had never mixed the gallon, forcing me to drive back to the store just to have it done. Even then, the employee didn’t apologize for the inconvenience or acknowledge that his mistake had caused me an unnecessary extra trip. To make matters worse, when I used the primer he had mixed, it was a disaster—either he didn’t tint it properly or never shook the can. Instead of a solid gray, the paint was a streaky mix of green, red, brown, and yellow. It was late, and I needed to get rid of the horrible smell in my house, so I had no choice but to continue using the primer and paint over it. I have pictures documenting this experience. At this point, buying paint at this store feels like a liability—like I’m putting myself at risk for hours or even days of rework, simply because the Home Depot paint department creates issues at every step of a project.

My wife and I have a tile theme for our kitchen backsplash and wanted to repeat it for our bathroom. Our kitchen is black and white, but we wanted a color to replace the black. We also decided to use penny tile for the floor and just replace a tile randomly here too. We went all over to find coordinating tiles. Mr. Boggs helped us find the tile. I was impressed by the the quality for the price. It will look very high quality, but within our budget.

I have been shopping at Home Depot for over 25yrs and this store is the worst box/dept store I have ever been in. The lumber is garbage and good luck finding what you need.

I bought a washer from Home Depot and it still does not work. A broken washer.

I purchased fencing materials based upon previous contact with a very knowledgeable staff member Jim. He took the time to compare DIY building of the fence vs purchasing in sections as well as the pricing difference. Jim also helped us determine the appropriate fencing material for our project. I'm very pleased with his assistance and am looking forward to completing the project

Kevin took me to the proper location to get rubber grommets I needed to replace the one which was missing on my motorcycle. He even suggested using a high temperature rated glue to adhere the grommet to the frame where it gets hot while riding.

If you need any help in purchasing new appliances you should come to West Broad and ask for June. She truly cares about her customers and takes time to explain every step of the delivery process. It is hard to find trustworthy customer advocates and she is the real deal.

When you try to return an item and are treated like a petulant child and talked down to, it makes you really want to be that really nasty person that can be in all of us when someone gets mouthy with you. I wasn't rude and don't expect to be treated rude.

The Home Depot is the best prices around and has everything that you could possibly need. Excellent customer service along with information on the products they have. Great deals, great people and great products.

Every employee we have talked to and those who have helped us has been very friendly and helpful.

I love our new Home Depot refrigerator and dishwasher but, the delivery and especially the installation was a NIGHTMARE. The 3rd party installation company, Temco, was at best INEPT. We had 3 visits for the refrigerator and 2 for the dishwasher and it never was made right. We had to hire and pay a private plumber to make the connections and finish the job CORRECTLY. Even the most basic skills needed to finish the job was beyond Temco's capabilities. They seem to employ people off the street with no real skills. I would buy the item from Home Depot and get your own person to hook it up. Hope you have better luck than we did. Thank you.

went to the west broad store to buy a dryer. had to wait 25 minutes to get any help.this store is only about 7 miles from my home,but next time i will drive about 30 to 35 miles to the sprinfield ohio store. I know that i will be able to count on great service from this store that has Josh Defranco working there.

I wanted to buy a router and the employee at the hardware/tool department told me to go to Beatbuy they do not sell electronic. The interesting thing is that Home Depot actually does sell routers for computers. He failed their too.

I would like to see Home Depot inlarge the Hardware locations and add more hard to find items. For the older shoppers will remember the old Hardware Stores use to carry everything!

Stacy the cashier was very nice, there was another agent a gentleman, had longish hair, he was very nice. the women working with the long-hair man was not nice. she was in returns and she should be fired.

Every time I go there, I'm not pressured by the associates that work there. But when they do help me it's very beneficial and they're very very kind.

I shopped here tonight for a pellet grill. My shopping experience was "Red Carpet"!!! Three different employees made a special effort to help me and I walked out of the store a "very happy camper"!!! Will definitely shop this store again. Highly recommend!

Don’t waste your time. The prices aren’t amazing anyway. I’ve encountered one employee that is helpful in all my visits. Checkout accuses you of stealing, scans items multiple times, can’t count paper money, charges you more than items cost because they always have things incorrectly placed, doesn’t listen when you let them know you want to enter your email for the receipt, and typically what you want isn’t in stock. Go elsewhere, where staff are friendly, prices are lower, and you’re more likely to find what you went there for.

I'm a 10-year customer at this location and customer service has dropped significantly in the past five years, in my experience. However, my last two visits were much better, all because of what I see as more engaging and seemingly happy associates. Kudos to the leaders and associates making a difference.

I needed a Ryobi weedeater the one I wanted wasn't in stocks. Arcadio was nice enough to find me a combo pack. Linda in returns checked the box to make sure the battery and wee charger were both there.

Nice store to go into. The employees are very nice. There's a variety of products. I like shopping here.

I couldn’t find what I was looking for in any store. Valerie asked if she could assist - she pulled picket fence panels up on her computer and it said there were 25 in stock. She called the lumber manager and he brought the 10 I needed to the front - then helped me load the panels and fence posts. Real service which you don’t see anymore - great attitudes. I really had a great experience at this store and will continue to shop there always.

I visited customer service to request assistance with key duplication. The customer service was excellent, and they promptly called an associate to help me. However, the associate's behavior was disappointing; he was abrupt and mentioned he was already assisting three other customers, suggesting I could make the key myself without his help. Afterward, I tried using the self-checkout, only to discover that the service was no longer available. Had I known, I would have opted for the regular checkout line instead.

This store always has things I need. The staff is knowledgeable and Friendly and the prices are lower than other home improvement stores

I had the BEST shopping experience! If you ever need flooring go and ask for John Boggs!!!!!! I had the best shopping experience for flooring and carpet! He was awesome! No pressure but very informative!

We were pleasantly surprised that an associate noticed we were looking in the app for the location of the product we wanted to purchase and she guided us to the product without us having to ask. Overall a really nice experience.
