A: Hello and thank you for your question regarding our Semi-Rigid Aluminum Dryer Vent Duct with Collars. Cutting this product on either end will mean that you will lose one of the collars, so that way is not recommended. However, cutting it in the middle is an option - You will need Aluminum tape in order to join both sided together after they are cut. Please endure that you are wearing protective gloves and use proper tin snips.

A: Did not do the installation myself, but I do clean back there and it is attached to the dryer using the clamps and just goes into the wall and there is the proper tape around it holding it in.

A: Everbuilt, I think you got your ends mixed up. If you insert the crimped end into the dryer exhaust, it will become a lint accumulator. maybe starting a fire. The larger end of hose goes over the dryer exhaust, then crimped end into the wall exhaust.

A: Hello and thank you for your question regarding our Semi-Rigid Aluminum dryer vent duct with collars. The uncrimped end is to be attached to the dryer vent at the bottom back of the machine. The crimped end can be put directly into the wall outlet (if you have the room) or it can be attached to an extension duct and then attached to the wall outlet.
