I bought this duct to extend the existing duct in a retrofitted ceiling/vent for a large bathroom. The new fan would only fit in one way and the duct was just a few inches too short so I added this extension. It is more solid than the typical dryer duct and worked perfectly for my application.

I tried to add a image but could not. Holding up so far.

The thing ripped open, getting caught on its own internal parts when I opened it. Tore holes all down the side of it. Diameter is exactly 4” so it does have any clearance to slide on to a standard 4" vent. What a joke.

Terrible design ripped in half as I push the dryer in postion. Waste of money

Excellent product. Allows my ac vent to flex a little bit more than normal due to compressor vibrations.

My dryer needed a short piece of duck work this was perfect

Ideal for clothes dryer exhaust. I used two to get the proper angle I needed to get to the wall vent pipe.

The inner diameter of the pipe is the same as that of the vent pipe. Cannot slide it in. Wasted time and money.

All of the stock was broken and or missing one of the collars. Rivets popped out with little pressure. Very difficult to work with. Ended up tossing out and buying something else.

Trying to bend the duct to fit caused it to tear. Had to throw it out.

This replaced an old flex plastic tubing that ripped. Other reviews warned about the end pieces not being well-attached and breaking away. I saw one was broken at the store. They are riveted on and the trick is to make sure you don't pull on the ends when you are expanding the tubing. The expansion and flexing of the tubing requires some work and patience. But that is because I think the tubing itself is strong and should be durable. I am happy with it and believe it should last a very long time.

The male and female end of the pipe aren't attached securely, so easily separate, and then it becomes a useless thing

I wish this was more flexible without ripping. The space between a dryer and the wall is tight and I wish the hose had some more give

One of the rivet/connections became loose, but it still worked fine.

Tried to use based on video. The video uses a completely different part for the tutorial. Once you cut to size the metal continues to uncoil. Wasted money.

Hose not sturdy and ripped where the welds are. Waste of money. Will never buy this again.
