We have bought and installed many hoods in older kitchens. Including one recessed in our home. This one takes multiple people to install and you can not make it flush in an older home. It is HUGE so if you make a box for it add at least 14 inches down from the ceiling. We installed this in my elderly mothers kitchen and she can finally cook now! NOT! The remote didnt work and we even replaced the batteries and she can not reach the buttons to turn it on. Very disappointed.

Looks just like the pictures. Just installed yesterday and is an Upgrade for us from an intrusive dated hood that had became more of a nuisance than a functional appliance. Great for low ceilings. Installation was a challenge , I don’t see how it could be done with only 2 people. Remote not intuitive.

Works as intended and looks very sleek. However, it was just installed so only time will tell. I am unfamiliar with Forno products but was looking for a hood that didn’t hang or had to be installed into cabinetry.

So far no complaints and the product is relatively quiet considering other products.

Low profile, no big hood to look at. Great CFM for the space.

Overall satisfied with the product - unfortunately you have to hold the remote very close to the vent hood for it to work.

Took my installer to put the range hood in. Looks great, but failed after session. Very disappointed

The range hood is beautiful. 3 of the 6 lights did not work when first powered up but Forno support answered the phone when we called and walked us through resolving the issue. It's definitely a sleek look in our new kitchen!

This was the perfect fit for my 7.5 ceiling. It looks SO much better that the range hood that was installed originally. Now I don’t hit my head when cooking and my kitchen actually looks larger. My contractor said the install was straight forward. It’s absolutely beautiful and works great. Although it was pricy it really was worth it.

The design and function work exactly as we were hoping. It does not ruin any view and still allows for great ventilation. We had a professional install it and I would 1000% recommend that.

Looks nice. We have had a problem with remote working but are hoping to have quick replacement by Forno

Three out of sixlights have stopped working. Will update if forno fixes issues.

The lights did not work! Very disappointed. After installing the range, we couldn't figure out how to fix or make the lights turn on.

Looks great - though the mounting instructions are confusing. It says to mount no higher than 30in off the cooktop, but is sold as a ceiling flush unit. It does have the CFM to really pull some air so should be fine, but unless your ceiling is less than 3 ft from your cooktop (it isn't), that's not the greatest instructions. Other than that we love it.

This is a two person install, the motors are strong enough to pull in the cooking fumes. Also, this looks great with our open floor plan, sitting flush to the ceiling.

I liked the fan, but had to return, it was way to big and required a gas line in my ceiling to be moved, so that was not worth the labor and cost. Thank you.

It rattles when on and has an industrial 5k light from it like you’re cooking at Taco Bell. Frustrating because when you go through all the work to install it, what options do you really have.

I would give higher review but the non-return policy for online purchase is poor. You can't physically see the product yet you can't return if it doesn't fit or meet your expectations.
