Pretty easy to install and works great. The one thing I didn’t realize when I bought it is that it has 2 blower fans and needs two 6” ducts to be vented outside. It wasn’t a problem in my install but I can see how in some instances it could be a problem. The built in LEDs are very cold and blue. Terribly harsh in a kitchen so will be trying to see if I can replace those with something warmer.

The on-unit controls, while perfectly functional, are not very useable when the product is recessed into the ceiling as intended, given normal ceiling height, compared to normal human height. Adding fan control option via a light switch (like a garbage disposal) or a touchpad (like a thermostat) would be an excellent improvement on an otherwise well made, and nice looking product. If you lose small remotes often, this product is not for you.

So far the vent hood is great, the remote is small and easy to lose. Which happened during construction work. Requested to get a new one and am waiting on response. But so far so good.

I would love to change the lights to a whiter cast. These are very blue. Are there options for this? Other than that I love the hood.

Stronger remote, easier installation, lighter unit

Product showed up in timely manner. Had it installed. Super excited about it! 6 weeks later it's not operating. Customer service has been responsive to help with the issue at this point. Will update once repair is completed.

Great vent. Once installed it looks fantastic

Product was shipped quicker than expected for such a low-volume unit. That was great. The not so great part is that the product work as expected when testing before installation; but after installation, it started operating erratically. Now I have to get it serviced even before ever going in to operation.

Quit working after 1 month. We'll see how home depot handles the removal, exchange for a new one and replacing the flawed vent

Very quiet and neat looking but bigger than expected. The small remote control works only if it is directly projected under the unit.

hard to install looks great. doesn't work. remote is very cheap compare to product.

I believe that is a great product. In the process of installing hood. Customer support has been top shelf too!

This unit is heavy and requires planning before considering purchasing and installing. Reinforcement is required, not advisable for the Traditional homes. I purchased this unit knowing how it would be installed and made it work for it’s purpose since I already had the kitchen gutted I was able to modify the supports to accommodate the weight. This unit was originally designed to be flushed with the ceiling at a 14 1/2” inch Depth most homes only have 8 inch.

Looks great, works OKAY but it makes a constant rattling noise in addition to the fan noise when in use.

Excellent fan and very sleek

While it looks like the pictures and appears to function properly, there were several problems. 1. The ceiling opening dimensions given in the installation sheet are wrong. 2. The blower exhausts are out of the front and back not the sides. 3. The opening for the blower duct is only 4 1/2 inches above the sheetrock and would not clear a standard 6" joist. These caused me to have to modify the ceiling and repair sheetrock and redo floating and painting after it arrived.
