I've had quite a few toolboxes over the years, my most recent one being a soft sided luggage style bag from Kobalt. I originally liked it, but the handle seemed to get loose and it bent quite a bit, The wheels weren't very sturdy, and the bag was very heavy after putting my tools in it. I knew I would be getting more tools and that I was quickly outgrowing this bag, and I wasn't really as happy with it as I thought I'd be. I was very impressed with these Rigid boxes and after months of checking them out, I decided to purchase all three sizes. Talk about an upgrade! Firstly, the construction of the boxes is strong and solid. They can really take a beating and just seem to ask for more. They did initially have that "smell" in them when I purchased them, but it does go away quickly after just airing them out for a bit. Each box has a rubber seal in the lid so when they're closed, they keep your tools from getting wet in the back of your truck when it's raining. The handles on all three boxes is substantial and strong. I've lifted up the 22" wheeled box by the handle fully loaded and it held just fine every time. There is also a lock loop on them so you can put a small padlock on the cases if you'd like. However, there is a long metal beam that comes with the 22" wheeled box that allows you to lock all three boxes together when they're stacked, then padlock the beam so all three boxes stay together. Rigid seemed to think this out and did a nice job. The extension handle on the wheeled box is substantial and stays solid when extended. All three of my boxes are loaded, and I have zero problems pulling them, and they're heavy. The wheels seem to move well in gravel, grass, and pavement and are much more substantial then my previous tool bag. There's plenty of clearance for your hands when pulling the boxes. I've just seen that there's a tool basket for these boxes and I have every intention of picking one of those up. The largest box has a ton of room for my electric impact wrench, trays, hammers, clamps, drill bit sets, breaker bars, impact socket sets, electric drill, you name it. The medium box has all of my sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, torx sockets, bits, pass thru sets, mostly hand tools and they fit great. The removable tray is a nice bonus. The smallest box has six bins inside which you can customize their location. I put most of my small screws, fasteners, clamps, gloves, tape measure, eye protection, flashlights, small screwdriver sets, and other items I'll need handy. I've even purchased a Husky extension cord organizer and clipped it to the side of this toolbox so I can bring a 50ft cord with me if need be. I also picked up some of those Husky zippered bags to keep smaller sets together in the boxes. Works like a charm and I haven't lost anything........ yet. Overall, It's been about four months and I'm very happy with all three of these boxes. I honestly don't see myself replacing them for a very long time. For the price of each box, you couldn't buy this kind of strong real estate for your tools that travels this easily with you from any other company. I have everything I might need with me and I don't have to keep going back and forth to get another tool in the work room. I'd recommend this set in a heartbeat.

This entire system rocks, I have the 22" box with cart, the 22" big box, and the 22" organizer. They lock together, stack great, hold alot and are extremely durable! Not to mention they look great!

This is a really good and durable tool box for the money. I own several rental properties so I needed something to put all my major tools in one place. Before I purchased this box I had to unload several tool boxes out of my truck and carry them in to the house, not any more. I purchased all three stackable boxes. I have my power tools, hand saw and bigger stuff at the bottom and regular tools and wrenches in the middle box and the small stuff on top. The boxes inter-lock with each other so all I do is unload it from the back of my truck and stack them up and lock them and roll the whole thing in to the house or garage. If you like to keep all your tools in one spot then I recommend buying all three boxes.

Bought this to store my contractor saw which was being kicked around in my garage from having no case to store it in and it fits perfectly looked at Stanley and Dewalt but this won hands down due to portability it can be transported in a truck with a shell or open bed because you just detach the boxes and go the Stanley and don't have that option you must lay it flat then have a screwdriver fall out and jam the lid then your day is wasted because you can't get your tools out you need to do the job THANX Ridgid

While the tool boxes are solidly built, they are NOT waterproof. If you ever have a reason to store tools in the rain, do not purchase these. A big disappointment.

Not the Best box. Wheels are too small, handle bent way easier than it should have, latches broke off fairly quick, gasket seal is no good if u stack too much weight.

I love it. Its really big I didn't think it would be big enough for what I needed but it just right. It's very rough and sturdy. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good mobile tool box

The retractable handle doesn't go down or up without a struggle, tried see the problem, but there's no accessible way to even begin to fix.
