My favorite gril. All I've owned are Weber Grills.

I’ve used a Weber Kettle for aprox. 25 years. Throughout the years I learned how to smoke brisket and chicken on it, and let me tell you that it does really a great job! Highly recommend!!

The product is great, but mine purchase was missing the central foot (the one without wheels).

This has been the best charcoal grill I've ever owned! A few years ago I had given up on charcoal and went to propane. Decided to give this grill a try and it has been amazing so far. Especially for burgers!

Love Weber Kettle grills. I have 2 of them now. Food always tastes so much better cooked with lump charcoal and charcoal briquettes vs gas.

The Original Kettle grill is my go to standard and holds a real place of honor in our home... This was the model my dad always had on our porch when I was growing up, always a Webber kettle, never propane. After I graduated from college and started making a home with my now-wife, we invited him over to a cook-out for my stepson's 4th birthday. We had a little tiny hibachi from the grocery store we were going to cook hotdogs on. My dad went out and bought us our first Webber as a gift. It meant a lot. We held on to that grill for 15 years! (And technically, it was still in working order for the most part). But this year, just before Thanksgiving, I decided it was time to treat myself to an upgrade. I looked over all the options, but in the end, it was undeniable that the classic kettle grill serves me perfectly, and never complicates the goal and reason I like grilling- standing outside, cooking with fire and smoke, making delicious food that keeps your family close. We live in an urban row home, and this grill is ideal for the front porch. It does not take up much space, it's easy to move around, and (pretty) easy to clean. I never have to plug it into an outlet, and it does not require me to keep a tank of propane sitting around. It's also completely understated- not to flashy or attractive to passers-by, and somewhat unassuming. But in performance, it punches above it's weight- grilling, searing, smoking, I can easily fire it up to grill a couple of sausages or cook a platter of hot dogs and burgers, sear up some chicken thighs or smoke 30 wings, and I've used it for our Thanksgiving turkey for the past 5 years. In buying the new model I was a little skeptical about the price jump to the "Premium" model, but after we've used it 4-5 times, I'm really glad we went with it. The heat shield under the handle is a great improvement (on the last model I had for 15 years, the handle melted after we used some pretty big/dense lump of charcoal on time). I also really love the built-in thermometer. I love using my kettle grill as a smoker, and having the thermometer built-in is really handy. But the biggest improvement is the ash catcher. Having this bin is excellent and really helps keep the ashes tidy and easy to remove and dispose of. I always hated emptying ashes from the old flat plan because they would inevitably spill and blow all over the porch; the new system is super convenient and works perfectly. I 100% commend Webber for keeping this classic piece of home cooking, and making the slight improvements they have. Our son is now 19, and I'm looking forward to the day I can gift him his first kettle grill once he settles down.

Going charcoal was the second best decision I made. Getting a Weber was the best. The handy design tools to hang the lid, the grill, the easy ash disposal make this model an excellent choice. And the copper is handsome.

I have tried gas grills and pellet grills. While each one has their advantage in convenience and ease of use, that real grilled flavor I want only comes from charcoal. The Weber Original does charcoal the best. It’s well thought out and we’ll made.

Excellent all purpose grill and smoker. I’ve done all manner of chicken, beef Dino ribs, pork ribs, pulled pork, cedar plank salmon and veggies. This grill is an excellent value and can produce gourmet food. Everyone should own one.

I had to purchase some upgraded items to make it the perfect kettle, but still by far the best one on the market. 4 starts = thermostat is on the wrong spot….should be closer to the grate …grate is thinner and needs upgrading.

Easy to assemble. Holds heat great! First time I used charcoal in years, my cook came out great.

As a grill it is great, but took off a stars for the design of the cover. To use the latch to hang the cover on the grill, one has to turn their hand horizontal to the ground (palm up) and secure. It would be much more natural and require less strength to be able to hold the cover handle in a vertical position with your thumb grip facing up. I thought it might have been built incorrectly by the store but there is no other orientation to put on the handle. Also my cover seems a bit warped so the cover does not sit properly without much repositioning. I was told all Weber grills are assembled for customer, but I believe it was a floor model as it had a price tag stuck on lid. No way that occurs out of box, thus being a floor model I think that explains the warping. If I had not used it I would consider returning. Main recommendation - fix cover design.

I should’ve got one of these along time ago. My food game has been taken to another level with this grill. Absolutely fantastic.

Still, a great grill. My dad had one of these when we were kids. I was looking for a good quality charcoal grill, because nothing beats the taste of a charcoal grilled food. The Weber kettle is still a great quality grill. I hope to have this one for a long time.

After going to a friend's house for a Weber BBQ, I immediately had to go out and get one of my own. The option to slow roast and smoke produces a one of a kind cook that I could only achieve with a Weber. I haven't cooked on my old grill since I bought my Weber and considering getting a second in for the Hunting Camp.

Perfect grill for any occasion or grilling style. We use ours constantly for direct and indirect heat.

First of all I did not have to spend an hour or two putting it together. 15 minutes and I was done. I can slow cook ribs or I can quickly do some burgers or dogs. The thermometer really helps a lot. It’s easy to move around and easy to clean. I just love it. Thanks Weber.

For 36 years the original 22.5" Weber kettle was still going strong but it was time for a shiny new one. We used the old one at least twice a week even in winter for 36 years. Other than the lid handle everything was still in working order. If this one lasts 36 years it will outlive us!

I wish I'd have gotten the master touch, for the extra money it would've been the better grill, but I still love this thing. I'll never get rid of it even when I get a master touch or performer.
