The communication between the store and the construction company and the installers and the customer is absolutely terrible. We got tossed back and forth so many times with zero resolution to the problem we ended up having to go into the physical store and speak to the store manager in order to make any progress toward a solution. No one wanted to take any accountability for their mistakes or damages made to our project. We were left to do the job of coordinating any solutions that needed to happen. Once we spoke to the store manager, he was an amazing help and we had a solution in place and in the works within a day. The lack of communication and customer service was unacceptable otherwise.

Quality and timeliness of the flooring installation was atrocious. Had to essentially argue with Home Depot management and “fire” the cabinet installers to be heard at all. Then, had to have the flooring installer come out again to correct mistakes. After which, just 2 days later the “corrected” areas were pulling away from the subfloor. The flooring contractor was completely unprofessional, which we communicated with Home Depot and specifically asked for this particular individual not return to our home to do the title correction, yet that did not happen - we got the same flooring installer. While planing the project with the kitchen designer in store it seemed this was going to be a wonderful experience, yet since leaving that last appointment and paying, this project has been a nightmare.

The cabinets were late being delivered. The installer kept calling to reschedule the day / time to be installed. The electrician kept rescheduling (in part because he wasn't sure where the island was going, in part because his daughter was ill) and still has not brought the face plate for one of the two outlets he installed. Decatur Countertops were the only people that seemed professional during the whole experience. If you work, you will have to either work from home or have a flexible enough employer that will let you come and go as needed as the delivery and installation schedule will be completely messed around.
