The girls at the service desk ( the 2 Sarah’s) are awesome and both go out of their way to help you.

The store was clean, staff is very friendly and I think every thing is available for your home and for your business if any you have. You will love to shop in this store.

Andrew in Plumbing is the epitome of a perfect sales associate. Thank you, Andrew, for being CLOSE BY (actually IN the department!), for offering your suggestions to my quirky questions, and for helping by cutting the PVC pipe for me. If you go to Home Depot, make sure Andrew is working! Also, a beautiful young lady employee helped me AS SHE WAS LEAVING for the day! She dropped all of the things in her arms to stop and help me. How refreshing these two employees were to me.

We drove an hour to get to this store. It was well worth it! We purchased a vanity for our bathroom remodel. The one we wanted was discontinued and they only had the floor model available. They worked with us and wrapped it up to endure an hour drive. Couldn't be more satisfied!

We always find the store clean and the store employees willing to help. In these days of, "Self Serve" it's so nice to find employees who will help one find an item, or to advise the location of the item. - Most often the Employee will accompany you to the item - which is great for us senior citizens.

Super friendly store. Staff did a great job assisting. Kathy, Alex and Larry went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed as well as make sure the item was there since we were coming from a distance.

The store is almost always well stocked and I can always find help when I need it. Usually if I look for an item using the Home Depot app, it is exactly in the location listed. I prefer this store to other home improvement stores because everything is so easy to find because they keep them in the same locations. The staff is always there and willing to help at checkout. Also, I notice that I see the same employees working which means they probably treat their staff well.

I have always had great experiences at the Lynchburg VA Home Depot. The store is clean, well organized, fully stocked and the employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. On this particular visit I easily found assistance and was in and out of the store with what was needed in less than 5 minutes total. Great job Lynchburg Home Depot!

They outsource delivery and installation. These vendors are not reliable. A few months ago I bought a new refrigerator. They didn't hook up the ice maker leaving me to do it. Ok, that was easy so no big deal. Two month later I bought a new dishwasher. The store employee said that the installers would not install if the pipes were copper or there was no outlet with in 5 feet. My pipes are not copper and electricity was there. The delivery guys arrived. The lead guy looked at my old dishwasher and announced that he couldn't install the new one because the dishwasher wasn't adjacent to the sink (there is a cabinet in between) and the hose wouldn't be long enough. The hose that HD sold me for this purpose as they won't install unless the hose is new. They then brought the new on in the house and left. They didn't uncrate it. Thus I have no idea what condition it's in. I opened the box and the dishwasher is enclosed in a plywood crate. I am a 70 year old female. So, nothing to be done but wait until the guy I have hired comes to install and hope that everything is ok. BTW, the man is an appliance repair man and his first response when I told him it was an LG appliance was to return it. Yikes!!

Ellen the cashier was awesome. She did a great job helping us check out. The associate in the hardware aisle said that the galvanized bolts come randomly to the store either fully threaded or partially threaded. I told him that sounded very strange and he said that’s the way it was. Not sure how you service the customer when you don’t know what product is coming.

I am in the store at least twice a week as I remodel my home. I wish it was closer to me like Lowe’s. Why can’t Home Depot have two locations in this area?

I went to the store to purchase some blacktop patch. The website said they had over 50 bags. I got there and low and behold, there was none. The excuse given me was "It's on a truck somewhere". A lot of good that did me after traveling 20 miles to get it. This is not the first time the website has stated it had a product when the store did not have it.

Employee in the Appliance department, Christina Overstreet was very knowledgeable and helpful as well as friendly.

I found that the employees go over and above to give their customers all the help they need and without delay, they are great people!

Love shopping at this location! Every team member goes above a beyond to assist in the customers needs.

This store was presentable as any other Home Depot, but the workers are the part that made it where I will never go back. Manager was rude to coworker with less than 30 day with the store. The associate in appliances was rude, acted like I was putting her out by asking for assistance, wasn't knowledgeable about her department (not the new hire previously mentioned), dismissive when we after making a suggestion about deliveries and availability, and talked down to us. I am very happy that I placed my online from a different store.

Is it possible to not even give a star? This store has a bunch of idiots working but have no idea what they are doing. I placed an order that was told to me would be there on June 30 once I placed the order it had a delivery date of July 16 which did not work for me. I needed the flooring as soon as possible and once the employee told me he could get it on the 30th was the only reason I placed this order. I never got a single email saying my order was shipped canceled or whatever because the idiot could not even spell my name correctly. Once the order did ship the shipping company had trouble calling meBecause the idiot in the store didn’t know how to work a computer and put my correct phone number in. I would highly recommend someone from corporate seriously looking into the store and finding better employees. I just went in to return my flooring and I tried to tell the customer service girl what I was therefore without getting frustrated and she immediately turned hateful because I couldn’t carry 13 boxes of flooring in the store at one time. The only pleasant part of my experience at Home Depot was the young gentleman that helped me get the flooring back in the store while I was on a bum leg and he actually talked to me And ask why I was limping and he offered to get all the flooring by his self so I wouldn’t have to touch it. The only other pleasant part of my experience was walking out of the door knowing that I would never shop at a Home Depot again.

Lynchburg Home Depot is number 1 in my book! I get the assistance I need and never have to look for someone to assist me! So friendly! They don’t just tell you what isle to go to but they walk you to the item! I’ve saved so much money because the prices are good and I leave with everything I need for each project! Their outdoor department is really organized and they care about their plants. The employees are really friendly and want to help you. As a home owner, I feel valued!

This store is great! Clean, friendly, helpful staff. Always well stocked. Easy access. Much more accommodating than the other big box home improvement store in town! Been a customer since the Late 1980's in California!
