been to all Home Depot stores in my area.. this the best one

The associate that helped me with my window shade, was very good at his job and very knowledgeable. Also showed me a shade that met my needs and cut it perfectly, I would give him and the store a 10 out of 10, great store !

Just completed a design and purchase for a new kitchen remodel with the team at the Maplewood Home Depot, and couldn't be happier. I'm not a fan of self-checkout. I feel that, if I'm going to do the employees' job for them, I should receive a discount on each purchase for doing so. Unfortunately, most Home Depots I visit these days frequently have only self-checkout and the pro desk open. This means that unless I want to stand in line behind four or five people using the pro desk (which kind of defeats its purpose anyway), I'm forced to use self-checkout. This particular Home Depot makes this an even less attractive option, because, in the midst of a pandemic, they don't feel the need to disinfect the self-checkouts between each customer. In fact, I did not see them disinfect them at all, nor did they provide any wipes for customers to do that themselves. Further, when I brought this dangerous shortcoming to the attention of the employee overseeing the self-checkout, I was dismissed with a simple "okay," and no action was taken. So, when the next major outbreak is traced back to the Maplewood Home Depot, I certainly won't be surprised.

Horrible customer service. Do not expect any help from assistant manager Angie or Manager Jeff, they are awful!

Very unsatisfactory customer service. Cashier Al does not have any customer service skills. I've worked at retail stores, and know that customers always come first. Will never make customers get back in line for the second time! Will never come back to shop at this store.

Customer service at the Maplewood Homedepot is an oxymoron. No one is willing to help or answer questions. Lots of excuses on the part of the store manager. Store was dirty, not well stocked and there was nothing to sanitize carts

Alex at the Pro Desk was AWESOME...went above and beyond, and made us loyal customers.

Rude, lazy staff will not direct you to dehumidifiers.

I had quite a bit of drywall to load up and there was someone to help (zach s) speed up the process getting it onto a cart and then into my vehicle.

I enjoy shopping at Home Depot at this time of the year as I am an avid gardener and Home Depot stocks many products that I will use in my vegetable garden. Also the store is always clean and employee's are friendly and professional .

Unless you are doing curbside pickup, I would not go into the store. Although there is safety in place for entering and exiting the store, this was not the same inside the store. The employees are not wearings masks and not practicing social distancing among themselves nor the customers. None of the items we needed were available for curbside pickup, so we had to go inside. We will not go to this store again during the Covid-19 pandemic. On the plus side, we were assisted in finding the location of one of the items we needed (by an employee without a mask).

I have been coming to Home Depot in Oakdale/Maplewood for 10+ years. The service is always great.. I got help two days in a row from a fellow named Rory. He is wonderful. I have been a home owner for 40 years and I appreciate getting support with problems above my skills. Rory was that person. This is my experience at Home Depot

I appreciate the location and service provided by this Home Depot store. The employees are knowledgeable, especially the "senior" ones and very friendly. The store is organized in a way that is convenient to locate items down the aisles. I especially like the garden center in the spring and summer. The variety of plants and quality is superb.

I usually don't bother to fill out online reviews for places but I had a truly great experience here and thought it deserved a shout-out. The employee in the drywall department went above and beyond to explain to us what we needed for our project, help us select products, and honestly seemed really happy to be able to help. He had a good attitude didn't make us feel stupid for being inexperienced DIYers. Store was clean and checkout was fast too.

I like the store and have shopped it for many items over the years -- new carpet, snowblowers, flooring, lumber, tools, and so on; however, I am extremely upset by a recent plumbing experience, getting a water heater installed through Crew2. Not only did I do the work to find the water heater at the store, but then you have to call a special number for installation, and when you get the price quote, it's the same as the rest of the plumbers in the local market (I had already called five different ones). I went with it this time to get the project done, but in the future... I would NOT RECOMMEND using their plumber installation system. You won't save any money -- which is usually why a person would seek a sort of DIY-type HD project. Just call any local plumber.

This store is our "go to" when we need things for the house. We've gotten to know the staff from being there quite a bit. Today, Rich helped me find something in the lighting area that I couldn't find, and Wendy was very fun at the checkout. (Worked with her many times in the past)

Our shopping experience at the Maplewood Store today was great. We were approached by a very friendly, knowledgeable sales person the light bulb department, John. Who would know there are so many choices today, color, temperature, size, etc. It goes on and on. Not a simple case any more. John deserves a special acknowledgment for his superior knowledge and customer service.
