I was helped by a stocker and his name is William. I was looking for suction cups for Christmas decorations and he helped me locate them. I was ready to walk out and forget about the whole thing. He was stocking at the time I asked for help. He listen intently on what I wanted. I was hanging stain glass and I needed something strong to hold them. He located them but the shelf was empty. He used his gadget phone to search the tag to see if there were more and he found some! He looked up and I saw 30+ boxes, I thought he is never going to find them. He found the 1 box! He found a ladder ,climbed up and he handed them to me. I needed 6 suction cups. He found 3 . He looked up another Home depot for the other 3 which was very helpful and I drove over to get those. I went to the front and Diane was there checking customers out. I was thinking SCORE! I have her there waiting for me. No waiting. I thought WOW this excellent ( I don't like self check outs they are not personal). She was helpful and friendly. I told her about William and she smiled. Just those two interactions with those two people, I was really happy. I had my stuff. I was in line for a limited time or no waiting in this case. I left pleased. I recommend these two folks because these are the people that attract customers to your store.

Everyone was very helpful, we were buying a new stove and some paint. Very helpful.

Had an earlier experience where I felt I was treated unfairly. I called the store and spoke with the closing manager. GREAT GUY. Forget his name off top of head but it was a Hispanic man. He resolved my issues and really left me feeling like he cared. Come to find out we come from similar backgrounds and area. He's an asset. Knew EXACTLY the tool u was looking for. And again....he knew how to handle his customer. Please erase my previous review of this store. All was made whole and these are good people.

Asked two different reps for help. Was dismissed each time. One looked down at the other side of store and said, "down there". The other pointed at the wall and said,"if we have it'll be on that wall there". I knew EXACTLY what I was looking for. Just needed help finding it. In the end I guessed,....and guess what?....I was wrong. Wasted money due to no assistance. All while watching these same employees go above and beyond for customers who don't look like me. Then as I'm checking out(purchased an Xmas tree too) the rep "overseeing" the checkout wanted to give me(and only me) allllll the attention. Smh. My wife found that amusing... Definitely an experience to remember(or not).

Shop here frequently and always have had a good experience. I feel I can count on them and they've always come through

I’ve gone to several Home Depot stores in the Chicago area and prefer the Niles store. The workers are helpful and have usually found what I need.

Very helpful person like Daron work I say over $200 because he point me for clearance items and I bought it same time And I think this kind people make difference

I'd like to give this store zero stars. I've been there quite a few times this past month in the outdoor gardening section and there's never anybody around to help. One time I needed 4 bags of top soil. Nobody showed up so I loaded them in my cart by myself and pulled a muscle doing so. Another time I needed a bag of pea gravel and there was nobody around to help. I waited 20 minutes and finally someone showed up. He helped me to my car without saying a word. Not the friendliest place. Just yesterday I called to see if they had sod. I was told yes. Went there, paid for it and was told to go outside and find somebody to help me. Nobody around as usual. I went back in and told the cashier I would get it myself. I went outside and guess what...no sod! Went back to the cashier for a refund and was told she could not do it, to go inside the store. I was beyond aggravated by this time. I will not be returning there.

So if you want to buy a product from there and you are not sure which one to get, well you are out of luck if you are looking for help from the employees (no one wants to help and no one knows anything). Each time I go there (and believe me if there was a closer competitor I would switch to them) the employees are always too busy for me, or they tell you lies (the garden guy insisted that there were no pots anymore and all what I saw were the only ones, but I had to come back a few hours later for something else and low and behold there were all the new pots and HE was the one finishing putting them up!!!) The other times it is these random people that are customers that are kind enough to give me some advice. The only people that are really nice and helpful are the cashiers at the self checkout counters. For some reason they are very friendly, very helpful and go out of their way to make you feel like you are the most important customer.

I truly love this home depot location. Especially when it comes to lighting department they really have a strong amount of options, same goes for other departments. Well organized and easy to find anything you might need. I also enjoyed the simplicity of product selection. I wasn't overwhelmed by too many options of something so simple that price point really wasn't that significant of a factor. I will definitely be returning to this location.

If you want good customer service, see a gentleman named Rabih (back near the Pro Desk). Couldnt be happier with the service and personalized attention that I recieved from him, and the extra effort he made to help me get what I was looking for. Two thumbs up!!

Even in this time of difficulty and inconveniences due to the virus, this store has been very good with employees being courteous, helpful and it has been a real pleasure to shop at. I really appreciate that.

I love this store comparing to other Home Depot Store. The Niles store is always clean, well organized and employees are ready to help like Shaista Ansari. I will definitely keep coming to the Nile's Store.

This store has unfriendly and untrained customer support. I tried to return items I purchased a few days ago. But the lady at the desk told that if it was used it can't be returned because they will not be able to resell it. Than she told that I purchased an item not even in Niles location, so I have to go exactly to this store and they might do a return. Somebody who looked like her manager came to me and told that yes we can't return something that was previously used.
