The employees at this store are generally very helpful and polite. When they learn your face, from so many visits, they'll smile and just engage you as a "cousin" or close relative. It's a nice feeling, especially when they encounter so many people on a day to day basis that they remember you. Many of the employees remember you, not just a couple. Those small interactions make you feel very welcome and comfortable here. It is absolutely the people that make companies, because customers often come back or don't come back because of the employees. I'll say this, I recently went to a competitor, because HD did not have the particular piece I was looking for; so at the check out, the cashier was very dry and distant. So much so, I plainly asked her if she was ok. She replied, "Oh, I just have a headache". I said, "Ok" and thought to myself, "You don't need to be on the register today". All that to say, I feel right at "Home" with Home Depot.

Associates were very helpful. Required assistance to get a grill down from the racks. However, don't believe the website about $50 instant savings for purchasing the Masterbuilt 560 smoker and cover. The cash registers are ignorant of this misleading information posted on the website.

Only go during the day when they have staff worth a dang. Not one evening have I been when there was anyone helpful at all. Evenings equal lazy with a capital L.

I made an online order and received an e-mail notification that my order was ready. After a 35 mile drive to the store I find that the item was substituted with a similar item. If I had wanted the other item I would have ordered it. Very poor practice.

Do not do online ordering. They will scr I ew it up

Do not waste your time ordering on-line they do not pull the items until you arrive at the store even though you will receive numerous text messages stating the items are ready for pick up. They did not even have enough of the item I ordered to fill my order.

Awesome Staff at Shreveport Pines Rd. Home Depot! My husband and I were in the Shreveport West Home Depot store today. We are from Longview but what we were looking for was in the Shreveport store. We were greeted by a young woman in the Home and Garden center who was very helpful. We needed the Sierra RumbleStone 10-1/2” x 7” stone. The store had 59 but online they showed 200+. It was determined this must be a data entry problem. I wish I got the young woman’s name but when she couldn’t help us, she called for another associate to help. Fed was his name. What a blessing he was. While he and the young woman didn’t find the extra stone we needed, this guy went above and beyond customer service expectations. We were buying about 255 Rumblestones (two other sizes were bought) and Fred helped us stack on flats, he shrink wrapped the flats and loaded with his forklift onto our trailer and truck bed. The whole time Fred had a smile and you could tell it was genuine. He truly enjoyed his job and owned it. You would have thought he was the owner of Home Depot they way he took charge and was interested in making the customer happy. Home Depot, you have a treasure in this employee. We will be back! Here is a store that is friendly and helpful. The employees appear happy to be there, there is plenty of lighting, and you can spend hours there looking around or getting ideas for your next project.

Home Depot , Store 381 is the best store in Shreveport/ Bossier. Everybody was so friendly and helpful . Marsadis gave me the best experience by communicating.
