The employees at this store are poorly trained. This usually does not matter due to self-checkout, but I had to buy something without a barcode so I went to a register with an employee, thinking it would be faster. I was buying 1 foot redwood garden stakes, and the employee would not attempt to lookup the product when I gave her the name of it. Then she tried to call another employee who was looking for a description, and all she could come up with was, "little wood thing that looks expensive". It was obvious that she purposely was not going to convey the information I was giving her (the real name of the product) or the price that I was giving her. In the end, I had to go take a photo of the product for her to put it on my order. This was super simple, for a common product, but an absolutely clueless employee who wasn't willing to communicate with me to learn what the product was. I don't mind taking the time waiting for people to do their jobs, but this was a total waste of time due to poor training.

I am happy that anytime I have a problem with a product the customer service desk is always helpful with my returns and even willing to just exchange the items with no hesitation.

Ask for Lina Luna to assist you in this department. Helpful and pleasant.

Everything was nice and clean

Went into paint dept. noon Monday to purchase tool in locked cabinet. No one at counter. Went to cashier and requested help. The paint counter guy was alone and on lunch, so she immediately called a floor manager. GREAT SERVICE! Thanks!

My tech, I believe Josh, was amazing!! He came in to replace my water heater and, gave me all the info and was very kind!!! He was very helpful and, considering I had injured myself a couple days earlier, concerned. He got me through all the paperwork quickly. He made sure I had peeps to help me, if needed before he left. He was just an amazing guy!! This company should be proud to have a man of this integrity and kindness working for them!! Thanks brother!!

It’s very sad when you go and you ask a cashier to find someone that can help you and it takes the manager who is supposed to be working in the lumber area 20 minutes to get to you, then proceeds to not help you because he decides to takeoff after seeing that you’re looking at things. So I don’t think that his management quality is at all.

Home Depot has a great variety of products and is THE place to go for home improvement, IF you know what you want and have patience if you need assistance or an item not on the shelf.

The Home Depot in Woodland has always been my go to. You find what you need- quick and easy!

I NEEDED SAKRETE, BUT THE BAY WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY. THERE WERE TWO PALLETS ON THE SHELF ABOVE. I WAITDD 40 MINUTES TO GET SOMEONE TO FORKLIFT A PALLET DOWN TO FLOOR LEVEL. TOO MANY BAYS ARE EMPTY THAT SHOULD BE FILLED WHEN PRODUCT IS AVAILABLE ON SHELVES ABOVE. THIS IS A POORLY MANAGED STORE!

I needed help with finding a room darkening shade that was difficult to install. I received such excellent advice from employee Hanne Deshan in the window department that my project turned out perfect!

I have good experience with all sides every time I shop

I have to the tile isle at least 4 times in the past week looking for 1/2” hardi backer, every time the bay was empty. I was told on every occasion that the had over 100 sheets in the back and that the hardi backer would be out the next day, we’ll it wasn’t and I wasn’t in a big hurry so I just keep checking and never saw it restocked. Well i now need it tomorrow and didn’t feel like driving out of town for a product that is in the back. I ask to speak with a manager (Diego) showed up and took care of the problem himself minutes later Diego was driving a fork lift with a pallet of hardi backer, I was extremely impressed with Diego.

This is a large, cleaner than most, Home Depot. However, there aren't many salespeople working there, but there weren't many customers either. It felt peaceful and airy. The Emeryville store, for instance, is crowded and dirty with a number of rude and nonresponsive employees. Typically there are 12 or more people in line and only 1 or 2 checkers, with a lot of employees standing around.

The flooring specialist Hanne Deshan was very helpful. Due to her we committ this project from woodland.Home Depot.

All of the staff and people are helpful and friendly! Regardless of what area they are working in, they are always helpful!

The 20" synthetic bender boards are super. They are way to install and they keep their color. The Garden staff is wonderful!

Cashier was rude and disrespectful

Never a bad experience. The workers do what they can to help and they always have what I need. They also keep the place clean and the plants taken care of. That’s all I could ask for!

I got to this store pretty frequently and the staff there is just great . I lost my phone in the parking lot and one of the employees got it back to me . The phone has irreplaceable videos of my Abuelo that just died and I was losing my mind . I’ve been trying to run into him to thank him so much for his wonderful deed . There is also two older men at that store that are just wonderful. They take their time to talk to you and help you understand things , since my dad and my Abuelo aren’t around anymore that means a lot to me.

You can’t get a military discount in person but there are plenty of other discounts. Boo Home Depot.

They were getting ready to close but he was more than happy to help and went above and beyond this is one great employee and one great Home Depot for sure!

I seem to make daily trips to this Woodland Home Depot and my experience is always a positive one...this store feels more like a local friendly store rather than a 'Big Box' chain store with personable employees always eager to assist customers...
