Too few cooks burn the broth
None of the associates understood what I was looking for. I had no cell reception, but one nice lady (NOT an associate) had cell & gave me the aisle & bin number. Actual aisle was not an aisle & difficult to locate. Wares were jumbled & piled & had no prices on them. Check-out person had great difficulty looking up the item I purchased. More associates are definitely required. Associates with much better knowledge are definitely required. These big-box stores just keep getting worse and worse!

    Your store was set up very well for your customers at 6 am for Black Friday when I arrived. You had drinks and snacks as customers walked in the door. Your staff were welcoming and very helpful! Definitely a score of excellent!

      Don’t go in the early morning
      Staff always find 7AM as the time to close large areas to stock shelves. Isn’t this something that is supposed to occur over night? Last week this store had 6 isle sections, plus the middle isle and the isle that runs along the back wall closed. This included Electrical, where I wanted to go to. Area was closed more than 10 minutes. It was so long I walked out leaving over $500 of items in the cart. Bad business practice, bad, bad, bad. Working inside the City of Portland and staying in Hillsboro this is the only big box hardware on Oregon Hiway 26 making it convenient. I could shop the South Beaverton HD off of 210 but, it’s out of the way.

        I had to return some items and purchase a few things. The help I got at the checkout was awesome. I didn't have to go from one register to another.

              Ordering from customer service
              I ordered some heat tape for my pipes for the winter we have to customer service the associated assisted me help me order the items the total was approximately $84 I get it delivered at the store I prefer that in about a week or less thanks for stepping up to the plate and doing a good job thumbs up to Cedar Mill Home Depot customer service

                I had the opportunity to work with Sai again at the pro desk and he sincerely enjoys satisfying his customers needs at Home Depot. He even called me within 30 minutes of receiving an order I had delivered to make sure all had gone appropriately and thank me for my business,

                    Besides the cleanliness of the store one particular employee named Gary was A diligent and honest individual who help me. I left. My cell phone Near the check out. When I realized I left my cell I went back the store. Gary was kind enough to help me find my cell phone. He really made my day - I wanted to give him $40 for his help. But he refused it and instead directed me to the sweepstakes for the customer experience...

                        Half the time I go there employees won't make eye contact you have to ask them for help. But there were 2 guys in plumbing an older white guy and a Middle Eastern man (sorry did not get there names. The white guy was really busy helping another customer but was able to tell me where something was while helping the other customer.The other gentle man was like in your face helpful, just needs a little more product knowledge. It seems like in the past couple of years when you with the new phone system the employees are better able to locate product. I will always go to HomeDepot I know how all the stores are set up.

                          Costumer service department
                          Had a bad experience with costumer service rep (Kodi). Kodi was extremely rude since the second I started talking to her, seems like she was in a bad mood before we even started taking and continued to be rude throughout our conversation to the point of cursing. I Am in a homedepot every day an in different city’s purchasing material fas part of my job. I have never been treated like this before in any other store. I would suggest to management to maybe assing costumer service reps that actually provide costumer service and help the customer instead of making the situation unbearable and uncomfortable.

                            Predatory Home Depot Credit Card
                            I'm sick and tired of cashiers asking me to sign up for the Predatory Home Depot Credit card. It gets old hearing them pester me every single time I shop there and now they are subtly threating cashiers by offering free soda to customers if they aren't "offered" the credit card. At 30% interest and no real incentives(no points, miles, etc.), this is VERY predatory and money grabbing scam by HD. STOP ASKING ME TO SIGN UP FOR THAT USELESS CARD!!

                                Self check outs.
                                Ideally you would give a person a choice of standing in line to get help checking out as we often have questions about a price or payment ahead of time. Self check out is a good second option if you are in a hurry, but a replacement for an actual human!

                                  I went in for just a few tools and afterwards I left feeling much better about the project I was doing as they corrected me an skilled me ok the more sufficient tools I needed rather than just belong me get what I asked for and letting me go on thrulut my day, later resulting me to have to come back to get the right stuff. They helped me the first time and off u went! Thank you! Will defiantly be recommending throughout my neighborhood

                                      Great customer service!!
                                      I bought a ceiling fan and paid to have a professional install only to find out it had a faulty transmitter. When I returned it to the store, Lori was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me return it and order a new one. I just wish I wasn't out $200 for the installation that was all for nothing.

                                            I was shopping in the Carpet department of the Beaverton Home Depot store and received the best shopping experience possible. The employees were helpful and sought to provide options for my purchase that went beyond what I would have expected. Additionally the cashiers were right there to help me and answer any questions that I had.

                                                      Home Depot: Accomplice To Anarchy?
                                                      It is a nightmare-inducing form of terrorism to be in a store that allows rampant, violent, utterly out of control, depraved, lawless maniacs to terrorize legitimate customers while the maniacs FREELY rampage through Home Depot stores stealing heaping carts full of expensive merchandise. Recently, I was pushed aside and nearly run over by a very large 30-something criminal running full speed down the aisle I was in, with a cart full of expensive tools, forcing me out of the way. Absolutely terrifying. I have nightmares reliving that crime and having experienced first hand at your store such a rampant breakdown of society all because insanely run companies like yours refuse to do the right thing and hire armed security guards to stop such society-shredding psychopathy. Immediately afterwards, and again weeks later, two seperate Home Depot employees told me that the insanity I experienced that evening "happens all the time. We're not allowed to even attempt to stop them. It's insane." So, honest customers pay more for everything so thieves can steal without consequence. Does that sound normal to you? Because your refusal to fix it is helping make it normal. YOURS IS AN ABSOLUTE INSANE SOCIETY-ENDING WAY TO CONTRIBUTE TO AMERICA: BY HELPING END IT! IF YOU'RE NOT WILLING TO OPERATE IN A THE MOST BASIC MANNER THAT CONTRIBUTES TO SOCIETY BY UPHOLDING THE BASIC TENETS OF CIVILIZATION, YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING IN BUSINESS. SHUT DOWN YOUR EXCELLENT BUT PARASITICALLY FLAWED OPERATION AND ALLOW OTHERS TO REPLACE YOU THAT HAVE THE FORTITUDE TO STAND FOR THE PRINCIPLES OF HUMANITY, NOT LITERALLY STAND BY AND WATCH AS IT COLLAPSES. You have a responsibility to fix what's wrong in your stores. Please do so, before it metastasizes further and destroys even more of America.
