Well stocked garden center made spring time planting easy

I love shopping at Home Depot, their stores have great product and well stocked. I love browsing most all departments. I enjoy the garden center mostly! Their prices and deals are truly good ones! You cannot go wrong shopping at Home Depot :)

I’m only giving 2 stars because of the great service I had from a nice gentleman in plumbing, who helped me with everything that I needed & more. The self checkout was the only line open. 2 employees were talking, & I was 3 feet behind them. Not until I turned around to ask for help did either of them say anything. They said they were unable to price match the same item that another brick & mortar store was selling for $40 less & Lowe’s website had it for $10 less. They said that they were unable to help, & at 8:30pm, I had to go to the service desk. I was a manager at 6975, & I know that they are empowered to help. My prices difference was below what anyone would have anyone would have on their first day. They both told me that they were “unable to help in any way” & to go to the service desk. When I found an online price from Lowe’s website, she was now able to help because it was $10, not the $40 that I showed them. I don’t like to see my employees talking & ignoring the only customer within 50’, but when they flat out lie to my face, I would immediately fire them. Both employees had lied & said they were unable to do ANYTHING & I had to go to the service desk. When I had the 6 prices I found that were lower, and the head cashier saw that Lowe’s online price was only $10 cheaper, suddenly she was able to help, and match a price from a website. I didn’t want her to do anything for me. After 2 employees lied to my face because they didn’t know that I worked for Home Depot for 6 years and was an hourly manager, I didn’t want to accept any help from them. Their rudeness, lies, and lack of common respect, is something that would have never happened when I was working for the company. You want to put customers F.I.R.S.T. Then don’t Forget Ignore Respond only when asked Say something that you know is a 100% lie. Don’t lie at first then Tell your customers that after you said it was “impossible for me to do anything” , then offer to do exactly what they said they couldn’t, solely based on the amount. Both prices were within their empowerment, yet they didn’t seem to care. If they did, they would have at least said hello when I went to self checkout. Instead they were busy talking. If I was still with the company, I would immediately get rid of the employees who were lying to customers, and didn’t really care about anything I said. I know that it’s been a while since I’ve worked for THD, but I doubt that they have been teaching the cashiers to lie and only help when they determine that the customer is entitled to a price match that they approve of, not the one that is plastered on signs throughout the store. Worst 2 cashiers I’ve seen in 12 years of working for The Home Depot and Lowe’s combined. The gentleman who was working in plumbing was the kind of employee that I would want working for me. He asked me for help as soon as he saw me. I showed him a picture of what I was doing, he picked out everything that I needed, and explained it so that I was confident enough to do the repair myself.

Helpful associates make shopping and loading quick and easy

I have shopped this store since moving her in 2012 and WILL continue to do the same because of the Friendly Employees and also the HUGE selection of "THINGS" that we can use for our home! Thanks Home Depot for taking care of your customers so well!

I purchased 70 cases of vinyl flooring. I was told that I’d be able to pick my order up March 31st. However, my order was not ready. I immediately went to the store and spoke with Vicky, Roxie, and Pete. Roxie made a few phone calls but because it was Easter weekend, she was unable to get answers. However, she assured me that she was going to call the vendor and ask about the flooring. April 5th Roxie called me back with good news! I am grateful for her taking the time to help me out! The people that work at this store work together and their service is excellent. Whether you’re a DIYer or a contractor, you should definitely shop at this Home Depot

I have had great service at this Home Depot. During our 2 year total remodeling project, I have been in this store 100's of times, literally!! The service is great, there is always someone to help me find items I cannot find and the employees are very willing to discuss ideas and offer suggestions for unique needs. I like self-checkout and the staff that work in that area are always there to assist if I hit a snag and they are always very friendly, thanking me as I leave, etc. Great store.

Great service and prices. Huge variety and meets almost all my requirements in supplies and tools.

Staff is friendly isles are hard move through due to clutter. Isles temporary closed for no obvious reason. Turn the lights on!!!!! I should haven't to use my cell phone to see because they wait till 9:00 to turn on the lights. Light was off in display area I was informed they came on at 9 I guess nobody shops before that.

Tool area well stocked even specialty items available for unusual repairs

I went looking for a new front door and a new screen door. The associate in the door dept. helped pick up the items and place them on the cart. Also, he knew where other items were, that were in different areas. He went out of his way to help.

The employee that assisted me looking for a new refrigerator was wonderful. She was helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Above and beyond what I expected. Thank you so much!

I always find this store to be most helpful when I go there,Not like some places where the sales people dart around the isle to avoid helping you. This store is the best to have the products I use. Also anyone thinking about buying a lawn tractor has to talk to william. He is the best! Good feeling when I walk in & good feeling when I walk out.

The Home Depot at #0268 Cape Coral ,is my #1 store to shop at ,its a little further away than (the Forum ) but every time I need and to purchase an item they have plenty in stock
