Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting plastic plant pots, CFLs, lead acid batteries, and rechargeable batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used in composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our communities and the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

Does The Home Depot have another sale this spring?
Get some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather warms. It's also a good time for lawn and garden work outdoors, setting up new appliances, and cleaning indoors. Remember to replace your outdoor power equipment as well. Get it all done when you save during our Spring Deals sale, running only from April 24th through May 7th. Don't miss out on these bargains.
Do you have moving boxes?
Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Do I need a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared for whatever circumstances life throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms, snowstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements knock it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Should I make siding repairs now?
Make sure your home is ready for spring temperatures swings and storms by replacing any faulty or broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be headed for trouble. On the outside of your home, examine roofing shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water leak in. Gutters should be cleaned to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if in poor condition.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through the peephole or an adjacent window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
