If your looking for customer service this store is NOT for you. There are no managers in site to see the lack of customer service from employees. Do they even have a manager in this store? The store is always messy and you have to walk around a obstacle course to get around because there are pallets all over the place so the customers have to yield for other customers so you can get to where you want to shop. The employees huddle around in groups chatting and avoiding customers and god forbid you ask them for help!...they just point to the section they think the item your looking for instead of taking you. This whole store including the manager (if they have one) need a back to basics training ASAP. This store needs a surprise visit from corporate office to see what customers have to go thru to shop here.

In that respect, the Store serves the community well .My issue with this particular Store on Rojas Is the absolute nightmare getting in and out of the parking area. Perhaps next time someone decides to build A Home depot somewhere , it will not be located on an extremely busy Street that is surrounded by 18 Wheeler hubs, and on top of that, it is the only Street that leads into the Store , a total chaotic experience at best.

Today, I received the worst service I have ever received from any place in the entire city of El Paso. The irony of it is the cashier did, and said, absolutely nothing - except, "next." The cashier's name is Destiny. I walked up to the register and handed her my box of exterior screws. She scanned it, sat it on the counter, and waited. I inserted my debit card, completed the transaction, then I picked up my box, reached around the glass, grabbed a bag (which wouldn't come off easily, so I ended up trying to pull apart several bags that were stuck together while she watched in silence), and finally, after bagging my own purchase, I walked out of the store. From the start of this transaction, after she called me to the register by saying, "Next," I did not receive a greeting, a "Did you find everything you needed," a "Would you like a bag," a "Your total is $10.25," or a "Thank you for coming, have a nice day!" In fact, she looked everywhere but at me while this silent purchase was happening. I've been doing renovations for the last year and a half in this city. Most of my purchases have been from Home Depot, and this is the first time I've experienced such poor customer service. I left there pretty upset. I almost went back to confront her about it, but decided to send this feedback instead. In the past I have given positive feedback on employees at this same store for exceptional customer service... but what happened today warranted this negative feedback. If I saw one of my employees treating a customer this way, I would be very tempted to fire them.

With spring coming up it was unusual to find zero assistant in the Garden Area and surrounding areas. The items I got where filthy and dirty and had to be washed when I got home. The only interaction I had with an employee was with a cashier who obviously didn’t want to be there. These circumstances and my negative experience reflect on managment NOT the cashier.

On Aug 01, 2020 My husband and I entered this Home Depot for the first time ever. I am looking to remodel a property and I need a lot of stuff. We needed a dishwasher, vanity, toilet, tile, paint, gardening tools, hoses, bushes, shrubs, fertilizer, area mats, etc... We got the floor model dishwasher and this lady started with us and then pushed us off to this guy and then in the middle of it all he disappeared and we would later find out he went to lunch. We loaded the thing by ourselves and went on to flooring. We waited and waited and finally I was fed up and told a young lady to get us a manager. A Hispanic manager (Fantastic humble man) came over and he got a young man to help us out and $2000.00 later we were checking out. It was decided that landscaping needed to be done and a bathroom was be torn out. So we headed back to the store to get the vanity, toilet, yard stuff and more tile. We split up to get things moving along and I got the vanity, when I got to my husband he was still standing there waiting. I went and found a girl who left me standing there until she realized I was not going away. She paced here and there and she saw someone with my husband so she dropped what she was doing with me and said it looked like my husband had found someone to help him. NOPE!! This kid talked to my husband but would later disappear. The store would be closing now in 30 min. I told him, well lets call the store and ask for a manager like we did last time. He arrived with 4 associates and they looked and looked for these 2 pallets of tile. No luck, so they called the West side store and had a visual on the tile so the manager arranged that someone would go get it and I would arrive the next day to pick it up. So we sat down and paid for the tile and the vanity and we went home. Early the next morning we get an automatic text from Home Depot that we need to call the store. So my husband calls the store and encounters this rude female manager. She has no idea what is going on so she canceled the order? WHAT!?!?! So we are upset and confused and this lady looses her composure on him because she says he is being rude. Well if you had been through all that we have been through with this store since August 1st you would be at your wits end too. So after this phone call Mr. Levy contacts my husband and tells him that he should not have worried because he told us that he would have the tile there. But what are we suppose to think when we get a message early in the morning and then you call and no one knows what they are doing. About 4 hours later I receive a phone call from Home Depot, and once again I am being told to call the store because there is an issue with the order. I call the store and once again no one knows what is going on. It is a 45 min drive to the east side store and this kid tells me to just come and they will try to figure out what is happening. The only reason I decided to go is because Mr. Levy told my husband earlier in the day that he promised it would be there. So I arrived and a wonderful young man in the parking lot helped me (Aaron). He told me that I would have to go into the store to pay for the tile. I told him but I already did that last night. He said there was a problem and I needed to go back in. Well that totally defeats the curb side pick up convenience. So I go inside and I ask the clerk why do I have to pay again? She has no idea, as I present her with my receipt to show that I paid last night. She turns to ask someone about it and she was told that a manager had canceled the order and my payment in the morning. Now I have to repay for the tile. Well what if I had maxed out my card and had no more money to pay for this a second time? The credit might not hit my card for 2 or 3 days. So your miscommunication has cost me stress all day. First a text message to call the store because there is an issue, Phone call do not come in, call the store, and lastly cancel my payment from last night and now repay. On and On it went. The employees here do not smile, are disinterested, hide when they see you coming, talking to friends down isles, pass you on from one person to another. I think that someone sitting in an office in upper management should come pay an unannounced visit to this store. Dress like a customer and just walk around and see how awful a person is treated. Go to different areas of the store and ask for help and see what happens. Unannounced visits like this use to happen at the bank I worked for, for 15 years. Customer Service was number 1 above all else. Even if it was not your job, make it your job. You stay with that client until their issue was resolved. Everyday was Disneyland and it was our job to make sure our people felt that way. I was only able to get assistance on both occasions when I involved a manager - this is shameful. I did not find the products that I needed because the employees could not find it either. There where 3 individuals who helped me (Manager Mr. Levy, Associate Aaron at curb side pick up, and another Associate who helped me load the vanity. I did not get his name, but thank you). I would say the store was clean. Most of your associates were not friendly or helpful. Like I said, they discounted my presence, handed us off from one person to another and then that person disappeared. Shameful that managers had to be called over in two of my visits to this store. I hate to leave bad reviews, but this was due negligence to my husband and I. This review could be longer if I pointed out every issue we have had at this store since August 1st. I hope that this review is read and shared all the way to the top ownership of Home Depot.
