This store is the best I have been in

Jose, Bob, Bryan and Kayla are an asset to this company! Went above and beyond to help me and I appreciate all of them very much. In a time when people have been so abusive to retail workers, it’s great to see that Jose and team didn’t let that get them down and stop them from having an excellent attitude at work. Truly an awesome team!

It was a slow Sunday morning at Home Depot, and I had to get a gift card for my loved one. I also went to look at the plants for a future project for my exquisite home. Earlier that morning I went to a store similar to Home Depot with a slogan of “never stop improving,'' which in reality was “never stop disappointing” cause the plants were mostly dead. After seeing those plants at the other store I knew to go to Home Depot, cause that is “how doers get more done.” As I was leaving the store to make my purchase I had the honor of The Divine cashier in the garden center. I felt like a mere peasant in his presence, but by the end of the transaction my life had changed, and I had found new meaning to my life. The cashier's name was Vincent. During the process of purchasing my gift card, I was talking to Vincent about how the person I was getting my gift card for was the only remaining loved one in my life. Usually I’m not one to talk to strangers, especially about personal things in my life, but Vincent’s charismatic personality inclined me to go into further detail. I told Vincent about how my wife left me for a man she thought was a better “handyman” than me, but in reality that guy was a “tool” at best. When my wife divorced me she took my house, my car, and our children which she manipulated my two girls to resent me, and then to never speak to me again. Luckily I was able to live at my parents house after the divorce, but that was short lived because a few days later both my parents were killed in a hit and run. My relatives that were at the funeral now won’t speak to me because of the divorce. Vincent was extremely supportive and he comforted me. He gave me sacred knowledge and told me to focus on my only son who still loved me, and realized how horrible of a woman his mother truly was. Reflecting on the conversation I had with Vincent, he made me realize I had to get out of my depressive state. He inspired me to find a new purpose to my life which I plan to use to move on from my tragic past. Our conversation was unfortunately cut short due to the next customer in line, but I understood he had his job to do and let him work. When I was walking home it felt like I was going through another heartbreak because I was no longer speaking to Vincent. The next time I shop at Home Depot I know which cashier to look out for not only because of his excellence at his job, but more importantly the life changing experience Vincent was able to give me.

Home Depot employees always go out of their way to find answers to my problem. Unlike the other home improvement stores, whose employees have a bad attitude and misdirect me with my projects.

The staff at the Exeter/Birdsboro Home Depot went above and beyond to accommodate a return and repurchase of patio doors. They were extremely courteous, helpful and friendly.

The store is neat, clean, well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful, do everything they can so you get what you need for your project.

The employees here are very helpful and friendly. Shopping here is an enjoyable experience

This stores customer service was horrible they I called the store asked him about prices they told me the prices of the product I got to the store the same prices were advertised on the store long and behold they have hidden prices hitting guys they do not honor their specials horrible customer service treated me like I was garbage just got me in the store to open up a credit card and buy the stuff on false advertisements was a horrible experience I never had a horrible experience at home Depot like I did this one. I called 1-800 home Depot supervisor called me back told me she would get back in touch with me it's been 3 days I'm going to go into the store today see what's going on horrible customer service and please will tell you where stuff is but they will not show you very lazy

No one ever has consistently great shopping experiences, but Home Depot is as close as you can get.

This was a good experience . I've planned to do more shopping in the Garden department as well as the hardware store. It's like a big candy store for grown-ups

While at the store I over hear employees talking about removing product the found on sale. Another employee committed that they must have had around$1000 dollars in product they were removing from the floor. They also committed on contributing to the employee pot. Sounds like the store at large is participating In stashing clearance items for themselves. That is money in the hands of customers that is being takin by employees during work. This store obviously doesn’t care about helping out it’s customers. Will not return until changes are made.

It all comes down to customer service. Incredibly helpful and shelves always stacked. If something not available, they'll give you a date when it's coming in. On this trip, April of 2021, I almost went to a competitor store. Their customer service kept me there and happy. I will return! Thank you Tammy at customer service!!

Mike the assitant manager and the east reading store is very clean and extremly professional mike goes over and beyond for his customers.

STORE is always tidy.Parking lot is not cluttered with carts.My only complaint is the hand saw on the cart in the molding section is very dull. It is a workout to cut a piece of molding.

bought a universal item because store doesn't carry the item I was looking for (in store)If I ordered online, would have to wait a day or two.Employee was helpful to get me something that would work, and showed me where parts were located

Been shopping here for 20 years as my wife and I are always doing projects around the house. great selection of tools and supplies!

Lisa in appliances is the best! She not only helped me with my appliance purchase, but also helped me in doors and windows.

Never wrote a bad review before... I do want to say the employees on the floor/cashier were very nice and super helpful. Had to buy a water heater and material for a customer with no hot water. Website says 3 in stock and $809.00. At checkout it came up as $999.00. With sales tax about a $200 difference. Showed the cashier and she agreed and said she would call the manager down. She called the manager said ok and hung up. After a few minutes she again called the manager but this time over the intercom that the whole store hears. He never showed. She again called the manager who told her not to make a scene. Which she definitely wasn't she was actually doing the opposite but 10 minutes went by and he never showed. He then told her "we don't price match". She explained it was on their website. He said "tell them we don't honor our website price" and told her he was sending another employee over. She hung up and did just as he said. The other employee came over and agreed that she didn't understand why they wouldn't honor their website but they're not going to. I'm baffled... worried about my customer not having hot water I bought the water heater and I was asked to leave a review. So here it is.

The store has always been clean, well organized and stocked. Employees have been very helpful
