worst home depot in area

Previously, we had used the Girvin store because it is closer to our residence. However, we happened to the South Jax Beach store and found the service was SO much better as well as truly excellent. The two employees we most worked with on our home renovation project were Deneane in Kitchen Cabinets and Chelsey in Appliances. Their customer service was so outstanding, it truly knocked our socks off! They were patient and knowledgeable and very "can do" about everything we needed and wanted. They each represent the best as employees who care and want to get the best result for their customers. We are definitely loyal customers!

This Home Depot is wonderful. Always stocked with the items you need, employees are extremely helpful. And you never have to stand in the checkout line for a long period of time. They also have self checkout which is great.

We love this Home Depot! We visit weekly for our home improvement needs and my new obsession with plants. We sometimes bring our black lab in with us if the house is a wreck and staff are so accommodating! She even gets treats on occasion! Staff are always pleasant and eager to assist however they can. The store is always clean and tailored to customer safety. We highly recommend this location!

The store employees seem to work very hard and want to do their best to help. I have experience with the Pro Desk and Appliances. I have purchased all my appliances for a home remodel and will be doing my bathroom as well. The employees have been very helpful to me.

It bothered me that not all employees were wearing face masks.

I would not recommend using this store for installation of cabinets using their current installation company. The installers overcharged (and would not refund the overcharge when notified of the work they did not do but charged for), and did not schedule the installation before the cabinets were delivered resulting in the delivered cabinets being left outside uncovered and exposed to heavy rain. Communication between the sales staff through the COS (Customer Order Specialist?) to the installers and then from the installers to customer was poorly coordinated so that the end product provided did not match the expectations of the order placed with the sales staff, causing additional unanticipated expense after the installation. It was a very frustrating experience. I won't use Home Depot for any installation ever again..

I come in this store all the time and the ladies at the PRO are always awesome. They always point menin the right direction and make sure I get everything I need. Sandra always does a great job getting me in and out as quickly as possible.

I have shopped at this store since the day it opened and remodeled 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and bought lots of tile and flooring and Tom that use to work there got transferred to Nocatee he was the best in Kitchen design. I do have a complaint about a newer older gentleman that started in returns and as I returned a couple of items he questioned me on them and asked me why would I return something that I opened and I told him the stain I bought for my wood floors was not drying, so I must have gotten the wrong product just wanting to switch it out for the right product he read me the riot act. I returned another item it was a can of spray paint that I got in the wrong color he again made a huge deal in front of other customers I told him it was returnable that the only thing that is not returnable is paint that has been mixed. Then upon returning something else he again did not want to take it back. The other employee took care of me. I did go to the person that is below the manager and mentioned to them I was very unhappy with him they replied other ppl have had the same problem, but they would report it. Now I don't like to see anyone get in trouble because I am sure he needs this job I just wonder if he has been properly trained or has the argumentative attitude which is not good for customer service. I don't enjoy going in there like I use to and I had gotten to know some employees by name because I was in there almost every other day. I have just moved closer to the Atlantic Blvd store and Love it. The name of the person is Keith.

I found everything I needed and wasn’t hard to do so. While checking out Madison made me feel welcomed to the store and I’m very new to Jacksonville ! She made sure I purchased the correct items and made me feel good all the way around ! Great store great experience! I will be returning .

The floor staff is always available to help with what you need and also suggest things you may not know you will need. Always friendly and service oriented.

Needed to repair a broken bathroom faucet and the local store had what I needed in stock and on sale! Staff helped me find what I needed to do the job myself.

Dr. Bob in appliances was so personable and informative! Went in looking for a new washer, ended up finding one, & purchasing that day! He even reminded me about new hoses for my new washer! It was great to work with a Home Depot representative like this for such a big purchase!

The associates in this store always greet me with a smile when I enter the store, and go out of their way to offer assistance finding products whenever I'm in the store. If an associate is busy with another customer, they immediately acknowledge me, and assist me when they are available. As an older woman, I appreciate their eagerness to deliver a positive customer experience. I do not receive this level of customer service excellence with any other home improvement store.

I HAVE BEEN SHOPPING AT THE JACKSONVILLE BEACH STORE FOR MANY YEARS AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH GETTING HELP AND CHECKING OUT.

This store is smaller than most other Home Depots which can get you in and out much faster than other places. The staff are awesome and have been very helpful. The knowledgable staff in the paint department kept me going back and painting everything from my fence to the kitchen cabinets. The garden center people are awesome as well.

This store has the nicest young men as cashiers and workers in the parking lot. They are always friendly and help load my car no problem! Store is clean and always well stocked! Great place to shop!
