Home Depot stores sent approximately 5.3 million pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This helped the planet by preserving over 63,500 trees, keeping over 16,000 trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saving over 50 million gallons of water, and conserving 7.8 million kilowatt hours of electricity.

Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?

Yes, the Lakeline store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. Registration for kids workshops is now available online and secures your spot at the event. Keep little doers engaged with a new kit pack for each event. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to check the availability of the kits.

How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?

Home Depot gift cards are a popular present for the holidays, housewarming parties, and birthdays. DIYers know they're fun to give and to receive. You can buy gift cards at our brick-and-mortar stores or online at homedepot.com. If you receive a gift card, you can visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online. Redeem our gift cards in-store or use them to shop online with no additional fees.

Does The Home Depot Lakeline offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. using The Home Depot App.

Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when shopping eligible Store Pickup items. We will let you know via email or text message when your order is ready at the store. Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID with you.

Picking up your Curbside Order:
1. Download The Home Depot App.
2. Before you get to the store, use the link in your "Ready for Pickup" text message or email to tell us you're on the way via the app.
3. After you get to the store, park in a designated Curbside Pickup space, which is usually located near the front of the store.
4. Check in through the app to tell us you're here.
5. We will bring out your order and load it into your vehicle.
