I was surprised how the Home Depot's employees change.

SHOPPING AT HOME DEPOT - HASSLE - F R E E

there was a long line at checkout so james from the pro desk politely asked to check me out at a secret register i had no idea existed the associates in that area made my 5 min checkout fast and friendly we shared a few laughs i can’t wait to come back

AL provided excellent customer service I couldnt be more happier with my service and products!!

Sales people on the phone were not able to answer specific questions about closest subway stops to store (i.e. 7th Avenue IRT & 23 st; or 23rd Street & Broadway R train)

The store was clean, It is a tools store so some amount of things will be out of place. The store was empty though not much help

Great place to shop for nuts and bolts etc. and surprisingly home decor as well. Ask a staff member and they will tell you exactly, (by floor, section, aisle and even the shelf), where to find what you need.

Surprisingly I cannot find a lot of stationary and office products at Staples that you would think they would have. So it seems to me that Home Depot is very much the same in that I cannot find certain repair equipment, household items, specific window shades, etc etc,in Home Depot. (Of course, sometimes I work on certain fix-it or maintenance or decorating projects that are not standard or usual). To be fair, Home Depot does have a good number of common useful items for the home and work-shop and garage and wherever else one would need to make improvements. But also, there have been times when I have looked for some item or tried to order some item only to find out it is not really available.

I'm so happy I found time to visit this particular home depot. Cashier JASMINE AND MANAGER CAMOY WERE GREAT. They were patient and nice and extremely generous. They were knowledgeable and I would definitely return here even though I live in Brooklyn.

SHARIZAN THE CASHIER MADE BY DAY BY BEING FUNNY, FUN, KIND AND HELPFUL... JUST A 3 MINUTE INTERACTION AND SHE CHANGED MY WHOLE VIEW OF HOME DEPOT -

As soon as you walk into the store the greeter always makes sure he or she welcomes you to the store. Also they give you a mask if you don't have one. I can ask the store associate what I'm looking for and they already know what I'm talking about. They walk me towards the aile and talk about the product I'm looking for to see if I will feel satisfied with the product I'm buying. Then the greeter at the exit makes sure I am satisfied with the purchase I made on that day as well as the cashiers.

Workers seem to offer good advice and know where to find everything.

Ms. Grace is very nice and very knowledgeable about plants and the appropriate products for them.

I had a great experience at the Home Depot yesterday on 23rd Street New York City .I was in the garden department and associate Grace from Gardening came over and she helped me find everything that I needed.l give her a gold star,very satisfied.

When I bought a ceiling fan, there was a problem of movement and when I called the store, they told me how to get an additional weight balancer which was sent to me free of charge with instructions.

The tool rental experience was out of a blissful dream for outstanding customer service

From the moment you walk in there is a nice gentleman that always smiles and will direct you where you may need to go. I look forward to his everyday smile.

Amazing service and selection of products.

As a handyman/ contractor on lower Manhattan, it covers most of my fix it needs. For bigger projects that involve remodeling I go to the Holland Tunnel Home Depot. Both are well staffed and generally knowledgable. I know the layouts of both stores because I go to them so often.

Visited June 29 in search of a dishwasher. The Saleslady was knowledgeable about all the product offerings and helpful in bringing to my attention implications about the physical and operating characteristics of the machines which might have an effect on final choice. Impressive store from a physical standpoint. First time in The Home Depot for me. I'll be back.

Very friendly staff- helpful, efficient, and knowledgeable. The store has everything you need for your fix your place up from paint to plants, and light bulbs to bathroom fixtures. You can probable buy everything you need to build your whole house from this store. The prices is range is wide enough to fit most people's budgets. Every item is neatly stocked and labeled, so it's easy to find what you want- the store is very clean and neat too. I like shopping there and being there!

The Ryobi drill rep who happened to be in the store that day was very helpful. The store staff was not, however. When I sought help on which type of wall anchors to get, the store employee who “helped” me was rude and dismissive of my questions, and just kept flipping over the pack he was recommending saying “look, it’s easy,” which resulted in me buying an item that will not work for my wall.

Everyone in this store were very helpful from the time of acquiring each item to the time at the register. All associates were knowledgeable and had a positive attitude. I will return to purchase at this store.

This is a well-run Home Depot store. One thing that potential shoppers should keep in mind is that because of its location--23rd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues--the store is geared to the city apartment dweller. Therefore it doesn't stock many of the outdoor and garden items (large bags of dirt, peat moss, etc.) that are found at most other Home Depot locations.

Always a pleasure to shop there.! There is always a gentleman who greets everyone as they come in. There are two gentle in the lower floor who are very knowledgeable in construction. Always a pleasure to hear them speak to customers and myself. Mostly stocked, always clean, and friendly staff.
