Im so sick of being told that I have to utilize self check out, it’s been the same Home Depot associate! First experience was in garden, he’s not familiar to me, but each time I decline self check out and patiently wait my turn only to be met with supremely glib comments about how “I” need to get used to it! Many months later here I am today, I pick up pavers that match my driveway out front, find one plant that I wanted and manure, I go to the cashier line and am instructed to use self check out, I decline, the older male Black associate with ‘Veteran’ patch on his left side says “that is all we have here”, a phrase I recall from months ago, I said no, I want assistance from an actual Home Depot associate, one raises her hand I proceed forward the male associate instructs me to go to an unmanned register I decline and advance to a ‘live’ cashier. The cashier was friendly enough, however the image of the paver sign I took wasn’t sufficient for her to find or locate a sku, even though the brand and size were captured, never the less I moved forward with two items and left the pavers, upon concluding my transaction the male associate came over and asked me how I was doing, I said ‘not great’ he made under his breath comments, it was really rude! I don’t know about you, but for me self check out doesn’t work, I prefer not to use it, after all there is no benefit to me, and two other customers needed Home Depot associates to intervene with their transactions. Home Depot, I have been a long time customer, I have a few pennie’s invested in stock but today was just an awful display of the lack of customer service that seems to be the direction you’re going.

My husband came in with this metal piece. He held it up to Joe when he first walked in before my husband could finish explaining Joe said aisle 33. Now my husband can't stop talking about how awesome Joe is.

Loved the experience, they were all so helpful and friendly and fast. I walk out with a smile in my face.

It was Christmas Eve and I needed a tree, but the lot was empty and the associates were sweeping up. I ask it there were any more trees and much to my surprise they had found one out back that still had life in it. The kindness of the employees was tremendous. I thank God for their help and compassion.

Everything is easy to find and the store associates are extremely helpful!! I didn’t plan on it but got a plant after a wonderful conversation with an associate in the garden department.

I was extremely happy with the selection and prices of the cut flowers. The flowers were fresh and neatly displayed.

Bought EVERYTHING I needed in just one trip. AMAZING customer service thanks to Sam, who was knowledgeable, professional, extremely helpful, and hands down made my shopping experience a productive and pleasurable one. I walked out with a cart and flatbed full of items. Lonnie was kind enough to assist my husband and I with loading the car.

We are a volunteer group that plants trees in Venice and surrounds. We shop a lot at Home Depot. We buy soil and soil amendments, worm castings, Neem oil, wood stakes (the flawed ones because we can't afford the perfect ones) and we have bought a pressure washer - thanks to donors and lots of spades, brooms, clippers etc.

I remodeled my kitchen and couldn’t be happier!!

I left the store in frustration as usual not able to find anyone to assist me with replacing (2) interior bedroom doors

I go here frequently and everyone is always helpful.

When I shop at Home Depot it is always professional and amazing

I have visited this location in multiple times and the people that work there are friendly and kind. I like the extended selection and quality plants, I really enjoy purchasing at this location.

The woman in the plumbing dept and the man in the garden dept were very helpful! I got exactly what I needed and got out fast. I go to this location often and it was probably the best shopping experience I've had there. They really went above and beyond. And since it was two people, I know it wasn't a fluke - but the way the store is run, the type of people who are hired, and the quality of those employees. Great job!

I had a great experience at this store yesterday. Everyone was SO welcoming and helpful, from the moment I walked into the store until the moment I left. As I walked past employees, they offered to help. And, upon checking out.. a very kind employee offered to help, which expedited the process. I was very pleased since I was running short on time. Thanks for finding such a great team of workers!

Have more hardware tools and supplies stop putting decorations

Great design support services from Designer Alicia at the Playa Vista store. She has been extremely helpful and professional in her approach to our remodeling project.

Ashley was Amazing!! She was really helpful! Jessica from the Pro checkout and Kate and Eddy were also really awesome.

The Home Depot is definitely an awesome store to shop.

Frustrating getting to store - ready to buy but no one can the items I'm trying to buy - especially when HD online says there's10-50 in stock. 😠

Could not find anyone to assist, then when someone would show up- either knew nothing about any requested product or did not answer questions, or was unbelievably rude (more interested in texting with friends, or chatting with other workers. I came in to research possibly a kitchen remodel (at least a $5000 expenditure) and the " kitchen designer" could not be bothered to give me info.

Bought tile, but I was on my own. No one to help me. The store is very understaffed. But, the worst part is they sent me one-third of the tile that I ordered. Now I have to start again, and somehow get the partial delivery of tile back.. I went to Floor and Decor, and what a pleasantly different experience.

When you need help to loud heavy stuff there is long wait even you ask

12/23 10 AM to 6:30 PM Reply to Home Depot experience First of all, I called the Home Depot and asked for a 2 12 V heating blankets they said they had 18 of them in stock. It took 30 minutes after I track down a guy just to tell me that they didn’t have them and they were all sold out so I went to the Slauson store they said they had five of them and the same thing happened then I went to the other Slauson store and they said to me that I needed to ask for a visual on the product went down there and they did not have it so they said that Hollywood downtown on Wilshire had I had the store sales person call for me which she was hesitant to do and got the visual got to the Hollywood store they gave me the wrong product so I had to re-order them and have them shipped to the Marina del Rey Home Depot, the time of the arrival was after Christmas on the 31st. I wanted to give them as a Christmas present pretty much a bad experience.

Employees at this Home Depot care less about you. The one in Woodland Hills is phenomenal and I travel an extra 30 min if I have time to shop there rather than the sh*thole that is MDR Home Depot

Home Depot PLEASE SELL Christmas trees that SMELL!! The last 3yrs your trees have had no scent. Why buy a real tree if it doesn’t smell like one?! What a waste of my money!

I ordered a lighting product online. Website indicated 14 in stock. Ordered cancelled. After about 5 tries, I got someone on the phone at the store. This person was helpful. Could not explain the cancelled order. But confirmed the product was in stock and encouraged me to reorder. I did. That order was cancelled. Finally, I drove to the store and found what I wanted. Nevertheless, what is with the cancellations? Why accept my online order if not going to deliver? There is disconnect between website specified inventory, and website accepting orders that store will not do.
