Im so sick of being told that I have to utilize self check out, it’s been the same Home Depot associate! First experience was in garden, he’s not familiar to me, but each time I decline self check out and patiently wait my turn only to be met with supremely glib comments about how “I” need to get used to it! Many months later here I am today, I pick up pavers that match my driveway out front, find one plant that I wanted and manure, I go to the cashier line and am instructed to use self check out, I decline, the older male Black associate with ‘Veteran’ patch on his left side says “that is all we have here”, a phrase I recall from months ago, I said no, I want assistance from an actual Home Depot associate, one raises her hand I proceed forward the male associate instructs me to go to an unmanned register I decline and advance to a ‘live’ cashier. The cashier was friendly enough, however the image of the paver sign I took wasn’t sufficient for her to find or locate a sku, even though the brand and size were captured, never the less I moved forward with two items and left the pavers, upon concluding my transaction the male associate came over and asked me how I was doing, I said ‘not great’ he made under his breath comments, it was really rude! I don’t know about you, but for me self check out doesn’t work, I prefer not to use it, after all there is no benefit to me, and two other customers needed Home Depot associates to intervene with their transactions. Home Depot, I have been a long time customer, I have a few pennie’s invested in stock but today was just an awful display of the lack of customer service that seems to be the direction you’re going.

My husband came in with this metal piece. He held it up to Joe when he first walked in before my husband could finish explaining Joe said aisle 33. Now my husband can't stop talking about how awesome Joe is.

Loved the experience, they were all so helpful and friendly and fast. I walk out with a smile in my face.

It was Christmas Eve and I needed a tree, but the lot was empty and the associates were sweeping up. I ask it there were any more trees and much to my surprise they had found one out back that still had life in it. The kindness of the employees was tremendous. I thank God for their help and compassion.

Everything is easy to find and the store associates are extremely helpful!! I didn’t plan on it but got a plant after a wonderful conversation with an associate in the garden department.

I was extremely happy with the selection and prices of the cut flowers. The flowers were fresh and neatly displayed.

Bought EVERYTHING I needed in just one trip. AMAZING customer service thanks to Sam, who was knowledgeable, professional, extremely helpful, and hands down made my shopping experience a productive and pleasurable one. I walked out with a cart and flatbed full of items. Lonnie was kind enough to assist my husband and I with loading the car.

We are a volunteer group that plants trees in Venice and surrounds. We shop a lot at Home Depot. We buy soil and soil amendments, worm castings, Neem oil, wood stakes (the flawed ones because we can't afford the perfect ones) and we have bought a pressure washer - thanks to donors and lots of spades, brooms, clippers etc.

I remodeled my kitchen and couldn’t be happier!!

I am very appreciative of the return policy of HD because, when I am doing a job, I'd rather leave with more than I need so I won't have to come back. I spend a lot of money and time getting everything I need. At the end of the day, the last thing I need is a bad attitude from HD associates which I usually get from the likes of Josiah and Sandra. I've dealt with both on multiple occasions. Their attitude is really insulting. I'll blame it on management.

Would like to see improvements in when phone Expierance was not great got transferred 8 times then hang up went in the store following day I called between 430 and 530pm was also on hold for long time 30 mins

The store is well stocked and the people are knowledgeable and nice.

I prefer this location over a nearby one based on the knowledgeable and friendly staff, shopping carts always at the ready general good organization of the store. I’m closer to the Ladera store than Marina Del Rey but will always drive to MDR, as Ladera usually is disappointing

Home Depot is a one stop shop for anything you need to get your house looking better. From plants to hardware to cleaning materials. They have it all. The employees are always personable and professional. Many of them have a lot of information to help you.

I walked the aisles in various depts and encountered at least 10 employees. Not one greeting or can I help you. When I asked for an item to one employee the response was a short “3”, meaning aisle 3 which I had to clarify. I guess cutting open the box of 6.00 box cutters was more important than a several hundred dollar sale. Lastly, they took out all registers for self checkout - horrible idea. A long time ago employee of HD and customer, Service and relationships do not matter at this store.

The rental tool center associates are terrible. They don’t acknowledge you, or ask you if you need any help. They just talk to each other and hope you leave.

Connie and Marquez were extremely helpful and guided me on which plans to get for my garden how long they last for and which type of sun and shade I was extremely happy with the service here and I highly recommend it

When something is needed for a home repair or a home makeover. Home Depot is the place to visit.

The electrician called to say he'd be able to install the switches in the morning at the last minute so I raced to Home Depot, arrived at closing, knew what I needed and after a few rules and some explanation, he made the effort to bring it to me so i was checked out with other shoppers completing their purchases. I was very grateful

I recently moved to the area and had the most incredible customer service experience at the Home Depot in Marina del Rey. Having visited many Home Depots before, I can confidently say this location has set a new standard for excellence. After waiting for assistance and having three associates call out for help, I was incredibly fortunate to encounter Mayra, Maria, and Whitney. These amazing ladies went above and beyond, demonstrating a "no job is too big" attitude and a determination to assist in any way possible. Their patience and kindness shone through, especially when dealing with my restless two-year-old. They engaged with her wonderfully, which was a huge relief. Despite my own misunderstanding and initial embarrassment, they reassured me and turned what could have been a frustrating situation into an unforgettable experience. It was truly beautiful to witness such genuine care and kindness, all to ensure my satisfaction. Their exceptional service left a lasting impression, and I can't thank them enough. The entire visit was a joy, from the moment they began helping to the end of my transaction with Amelia and Barbara. Amelia even gave my two-year-old a balloon, which made her day and showed just how thoughtful the staff is. This memorable trip to Home Depot will be a story I share for a lifetime, and I genuinely hope it brings more business to this location and the company as a whole. Today's experience at the Marina del Rey Home Depot has more than made up for past negative experiences in other parts of the state. It is clear that Home Depot is investing in their employees, as this team exemplifies outstanding customer service. Thank you to everyone who made this visit so special – you have a grateful, elated, and lifelong customer in me!

Have never has an issue with items purchased. However, their return policy very simple.

This location has stepped up their game with better employees who actually know where products are!!! FLORA is amazing. I came in with a list of items and she directed me to the first one , explained the different option available, and as I went down my list she knew exactly the aisle and bin number!!! I didn't have to waste time searching. Upon self check out exit friendly cashiers. I use to dread coming here as no one was on the floor to help you- now you can find several people eager to help!! Game changer!! You'll be happy you came

I bought a Hunter ceiling fan and it claimed a whisper quiet motor. It was true and wobble free. Way better than other brands
