I have always been happy with HD since they came to Austin in the 90's, and have never complained but with the COVID-19 pandemic, you would think management would take the safety of its customers and employees seriously enough to follow orders from the City of Austin Mayor and Chief Medical Officer requiring requiring all citizens wear masks indoors (except for your residence) and maintain a minimum of 6 feet of separation. The order is very clear and is posted on the City of Austin Web-Site. This store clearly violates the order. When I asked the greater why they allowed people in the store without masks, he said "We'll take your money, masks or not." Staff are not wearing masks and I was actually asked to go squeeze by another shopper in the return line. The North Mopac store at Arbor Walk is NOT a safe place to shop for anyone vulnerable given the very large traffic volume of reckless shoppers permitted to handle merchandise.

I love this store. I love all the people and I've have come to know many of them by first name and it is always a very pleasant experience from me because we now have friendship type conversations rather than just a project!!

I love the man in the light bulb department he helped me so much. Also got directed to the aerators for water faucets by a great guy in plumbing. Love this store.

This is one of the nicest Home Depot's I've been to. I love the price guarantee, you never have to worry about paying too much for just about anything.

this store is neat; the employees are courteous, friendly and professional. They are always willing to assist when they see the need. The products are clearly marked and the aisles are easily named which helps shoppers find what they're looking for. Prices are clearly marked on the items, and the store is very clean; ample parking. If you need to return anything - it is hassle free, and the remodel for returns is fantastic....arranged so that the entrance is not blocked. The cashier terminals are strategically arranged so that employees can see when customers are waiting to be served - not blocked by a long line of waiting customers. The self-check area is easy and user friendly.

There are always people to help you find things. That goes for us older customers. It makes it so helpful to have people there to cheerfully help you.

It is in reference to Theft in your stores. I know you have the updated security systems, but items are not in the store when I call first and the employee says there several items in stock. What shows on the computer/shelf is not what is on the shelves. It is a long drive to get something that is stated to be on the shelf and is not there when I get there. Where are the missing items?? Theft is a large problem in all stores, but I believe the security systems are used to mange the items that are put on the shelves or in the stock rooms as needed. Also, each employee needs to be managed by only One Boss. It is very confusing for the employee as to know to which Boss to listen to, when one says this and another says no do it this way. Whom should they listen to!!. Management also needs to look in to this situation for your employees well far so they can do a good job for Home Depot. Thank you, from a long time customer

Of all the Home Depot stores I've visited, this is my favorite. It's well stocked with a large variety of merchandise Home Depot is known for. Moreover, I find that the team members (the help) in this store tend to be better at helping me find stuff and are good at answering my questions.

I love this place they have everything I need and they have the best staff. Like Destiny she is very friendly and really good at her job! It was crazy busy and the lines were long when I was in there shopping for lumber. When I got into line I couldn't help but notice that my cashier Destiny was moving people along in a very fast and efficient manner it was very impressive. I would recommend giving her some serious thought on a higher and more challenging position in you company. She is very talented young lady. Very impressed!

Excellently kept store with attentive employees. I live down the street and greatly appreciate the service of this store as I have been known to drive a way's for decent service.

Have you met Patricia?... you should. I can get frustrated trying to fit in everything I need to get done and it can be trying on a great day to get through the store and get everything I need in the qualtiy and quantity I am looking for. By the time I get to the cashier I want to get done and be on my way. Patricia is fast, informed, and professional. She disarms with charm and backs it up with product knowledge and transaction speed to see me on my way with a receipt in my hand and a smile on my face. This is why I shop at the N Austin HD and why I come back.

Great store.... Clean and well organized.... Aisles aren't as clogged as some other Home Depots I've shopped at.... Floor associates are helpful and knowledgeable....

Listen to and try to accommodate your customers. If they have an issue with returning a product outside the return policy for example, consider accepting the return if it makes the customer satisfied. That customer will likely spend more money at that particular location. Just because you are a big box store, you should better train your employees to act as if they work in a smaller, more neighborhood friendly hardware store where store representative listen to their customers. The customers will reward you by spending more money at your location!!! In my case, I tried returning a circular saw outside the return window where I normally shop and where I purchased it (ie, the 4 points location). I was quickly told that I could not return it and the agent would not even consider store credit. I spend a lot of money at home depot each year (at the 4 points location to be specific) and was a bit upset by this. I took a chance and went to the Aborwalk location and Sunamita (customer service agent) actually listened to me and considered my request. While she couldn't allow me to return the item outright, she did allow me to get store credit for it. I received $172 in store credit for the item, and ended up spending almost $400 on a new circular saw as well as on other items I needed at the Arborwalk location.

I was purchasing something on sale and was informed that my military discount would not apply. I believe I have made many purchases that were sale items and had never been told that. I felt like a valued servicemen who had fought for his country and was being honored by Home Depot with this perk but no longer.

Cameras everywhere. It’s like visiting a jail. Added bonus the employees are friendly although they have no idea what they’re doing or where anything is.

From the returns desk to the paint desk, the aisles are so narrow. Only one shopping cart can go through. If you're looking at light bulbs, you better know how to rock climb you're way out of there. So many displays in front of the bulbs. You wouldn't even be able to shop if you're in a wheelchair.

Customer service was very helpful in exchanging a product. Several employees offered to help me find what I needed.

I live in Plano and had to rent a truck to move my son who lives in North Austin miles. I looked at different truck rental in North Austin area. I settled on Penske via the Braker/MOPAC location. They exceeded my expectations including a very low cost. This is the company and location to choose!!!!
