The store has a good stock of merchandise. But when checking out the employee helping were not friendly at all. I would not and will not shop at this store again.

While I normally love the quick in and out feature of HD's self-checkout, the new system is not user friendly. There is a very small space to set your scanned items. In place of a regular scanner, one must grab a scanning gun in one hand, hold your item in the other, scan it, then (if the item doesn't fit in the small space) try to hold it and scan the next item. GET RID of those monstrosities Home Depot! I have to wonder if they ever tested them with ordinary users.

I did not get his name, his salesperson id: IHY42S. This was the best experience I have had in all the years I have been shopping at home depot. He was very patient, sincere and did his best to get me the best price. I shop because of reliability. Not because service. There is a difference. Usually I get an uncaring blob who wants me to make my purchase accept the posted price and move on. Tell you the truth the older I get the more I hate this, I usually forget and then come back to the store, this time was different, I was prepared to go somewhere else. This guy changed my mind!!!

I walk in, asked the greeter where to find the product I needed, she had the answer and I walk back to the area she directed me to and the person stationed there was quick to help and I was out the door in less than 10 minutes.

Clint and Russ from the appliance department made my trip possible. They both were very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. I purchased a stove that needed delivered to my residence, and Russ talked me thru all of the steps and how to accept the unit once it arrived. Overall, I'm very please. Shoutout to Russ and Clint!

Shopping at all Home Depot's is unlike shopping at other places in general. Most of my shopping experiences at other places I seem for the most part invisible. Not at any Home Depot, I try to stay to myself but I seem to stand out and am always greeted with a smile, a hi or can I help you find something. This really encourages me to shop longer and spend more money on things I really need. Sometimes I feel like I am gliding through the aisles because these HD stores with all the different things excites me. "Shopping at Home Depot's is fun" signed frequent shopper

I just replaced all the major appliances in my newly-purchased home. The staff members in the appliance section were wonderful; especially Paul, who helped me through the whole decision-making process. I've been getting my home improvement supplies from Home Depot for over 20 years, and am a loyal customer.

I enjoyed an Excellent shopping experience at the is store. Store was clean and easy to navigate. Employees were very proactive and helpful in volunteering to assist not only my shopping in the lighting products area, but at the checkout.

My dealings with this store were primarily over the phone. The person I spoke with was very helpful and polite and was able to take care of my issue over the phone. Two days later when I was able to visit the store and pick up the item I had paid for previously the people at the store were helpful and had the merchandise at the customer service ready for me. The only issue I had with the whole transaction is that the stores were unable to transfer the merchandise I wanted between the stores so I could pick my item up locally. I filled out their survey and let them know that this is a service that would benefit them and their customers. The people I dealt with at both stores were very considerate and helpful but just couldn't do what I wanted.

Brad did all he could to make sure we got the lowest price available on our new appliances and other purchases.

My husband and I came to this store a few days ago looking for a sink. (ours had eroded, was leaking and needed a replacement) We weren't sure where to start, and a nice woman had asked if we needed any help, and when we let her know what we had in mind, she pulled it up almost immediately on the computer and then took us straight to where the sink was located. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and informative! After thanking her, we went to the cashier to buy our new sink, and the cashier at the time, Dustin was very funny and easy to talk to, we had a good conversation before leaving the store with smiles on our face. We will definitely be back again!

The employees working at the Cherry Ave. store in Salem are consummate professionals. Unlike the competitor store located in Keizer Station, the employees here are not condescending to customers. Whenever I shop at this store, employees are polite and respectful. Rather than condescend, they are informative and willing to educate professionally.

Employees are friendly and willing to help. When asked if there was a plumbing expert on hand the manager knew exactly who to call. He came right away and helped me find the plumbing parts I needed. Store was clean.

The equipment department (gentleman) was excellent. He took time to understand my project and suggest the correct equipment to utilize for the yard project. Marcus in the Window Department knows his stuff!!

I always say that if you cant find it at home depot - you dont need it! I go to this store onceor twicea week and some days I go 2-3 times. Always the same awesome people!!!! Almost every single employee knows where absolutely everything is!

Very pleasant visit. The paint department personnel were very friendly and very helpful and so was the cashier. I went in not knowing where to get started and was able to find someone to help me with all the questions I had to make better decisions on what items to purchase.

Monica, Paul, and Fred should be recommended for their above normal service, help, and tolerance. My handyman and I were somewhat anxious to get our multiple and varied list of needed renovation items fulfilled. They went beyond their normal way of being helpful to get us where we needed to be with multiple departments involved.

Clueless employees (in the evening) who will NOT offer help of any kind. It's a job and I show up for work attitude

My fridge died. I have diabetes and need refrigeration. I saw Bret..Appliance manager..at N Salem store. I told him what I needed and he not only found me a perfect match that was in stock..he matched the price to my budget needs. After being given delivery dates a full week away by everywhere else...Bret guaranteed next day delivery. He spent a lot of time helping me and was unfailingly kind...hard working...helpful. I would do business with him again any time and I highly commend him and the folks at N Salem Home Depot for being courteous and attentive.
