I'm a contractor I work all over. I primarily shop only orange CT store if I can help it. When you getvthe one on one service this crew offers its customers. Well you don't shop other stores. You come see your friends/ fam at the store you love. Thanks guys you all rock.

That store layout is completely messed up. You have to walk all over the place for things that logically should be right next to each other. For instance, a mailbox and a new post, along with the quick set for installing the post. You'd think any normal person shopping for a new mailbox post would grab a mailbox that's right next to it, right? Nope. They're clear across the store in another aisle. And then the quick set is in yet another location. Furthermore, the electrical section is scattered into several parts instead of being together. Add in all the displays scattered around, and if you're the guy with the mailbox post sticking out of your cart that only rolls on three out of four wheels, forget about navigating. I was crashing into everything. Oh, and another thing. Home Depot is the haven for weekend warriors (people who DIY stuff at home on weekends), and the darn place opens at 8am on Sunday?! I wanted to be done with my job by 8am! The whole setup is a joke, and there wasn't a soul in sight in the store at that time.

I have found the employees are much more available and helpful than they used to be.

Wanted to have carpeting installed and after paying $ 35 no one called to set up appointment.

Happy I went to Home Depot

Ordered appliance 2/17 to be delivered 2/22. Incompetant saleswoman said we were to pay upon delivery. We find out on 2/21 delivery would not happen because we didn't pre-pay. We went back to store to pre-pay and now have to wait another week to take delivery. Will never shop at this incompetant store again.

I work for a commercial contractor in Branford, and I drive past the New Haven location down to the Orange location just because they have way better customer service and a way bigger inventory and options. To be blunt, the New Haven location is “ghetto”.

I have had a number of very pleasant interactions with this store in the past year or so. This time I needed a gift for someone. It was over $75 on the site, but showed as a manager's special online for at least half off. I called and someone located the item for me and agreed to hold it until noon. I was SO happy I purchased another when I got to the store. They are my go to for home improvement items/tasks.

Went in to purchase a new refrigerator. Was greeted on my way in and out. Was asked if I needed help as I was on my way out. Had to wait for the department associate to come in but it was a short wait after the cabinet associate checked for me. Austin in the appliance department was very nice and wrote up my order quickly.

I do a lot of small purchases from this store, batteries, bulbs, timers, storage bins etc, and they always have what I am looking for. Also in a large variety of sizes, colors. I always come here first before going to a regular store.

I’m always able to locate and shop for items I need at Orange Home Depot. They have an expansive stock and employees are always available to assist

A had a great experience while shopping at your store. I quickly noticed an increase in communication with employees walking past and asking if I needed help. I actual did require assistance with a plumbing fixture and the associate took the time to scan the item, reference the location, and find it for me. Way to go Orange Home Depot!

Bought a table, delivery person dropped it while delivering, now my table has dents on the corners.

I buy a lot of different items and they all work to my satisfaction. If for some reason they don't Home Depot has no problem taking them back.

I always shop at the store and find it a pleasure. People are very friendly and very helpful. Especially the young man in the wheelchair who took our order for a dryer and was very helpful.

If anyone is thinking in purchasing Simonton windows please think twice because I did and I am sorry I did because the windows looks like rejected windows when I checked them. The rubber on the inside of the window is way outlined and it looks like rejected windows

When I need help, I look to the young female clerks, because they're not likely to boss me around. Men assume, incorrectly, that I need their knowledge as well as assistance. I am an older woman however, don't need to be directed.

I am not sure what happened the store is dirty. There so much in the isle ways you can’t get two carts through. Also it takes a few minutes to clean the area before you put a new skid in the area.

Always had a good experience at the Orange, CT store. Staff is always friendly. Store has a good variety of products.

Went to this orange ct homedepot and could not get someone to help me find what i needed in a ridgid tool.The web site said they had a bunch of them ,But between asking and trying to find this item was a total waste of time !

I'm glad I went to Home Depot, where I saved a lot of dough!

If you have workers that work in areas they know nothing about their no help to your customers at all. They need to be knowledgeable in the plumbing department in the woodshop department in the tool department in the paint department. They need to be fully knowledgeable otherwise why are they working there and that’s there just to clean up the place, fix that

Home Depot always have employees that are willing to help you in all departments. I just bring my concerns and they help me to buy what I need to fix it.

Joban who works at the customer service desk was very understanding and helpful. I appreciate their patience.

Dave was so helpful in assisting us with all our home improvement needs!

We went in to purchase a garage freezer; took us 15 minutes from walking in to check out...lol faster then ordering take out :)

My wife and I bought a kitchen light fixture that we are very happy with. One of the store employees (Maddy) at the Orange, CT store was very knowledgeable about the stock and helped us to find exactly the style we were looking for. At the checkout the young lady who helped us to open a Home Depot charge card and with checking out our items was also terrific. We found the employees to be very helpful and very courteous. Excellent customer service!

honestly every employee I encountered was very nice and helpful and it was really busy

Really feel the service at this store is far superior than other home depots. Only down side, is the parking lot can be rather difficult to navigate.
