Great smiling service !

I went to get paint and it is always great when I can get my old paint can a free shake while there. I was thankful for that. I took my dog inside as well and everyone was so sweet to her.

We're doing some updating of our home to get ready to sell it, and my contractor had a list of items I needed to buy. I wasn't terribly familiar with where to find these items in the store. Rob to the rescue! He helped me with every item on that list and even helped me to load the items into my car. On a day where I had a million things to do, Rob made this trip to Home Depot super simple. He also saved me from the typical 8 trips it usually takes to finish a project. Thanks, Rob!

If you're a pro services contractor, go see Katie, she's going to fix anything you need and pretty much knows about everything a contractor needs. She is my go-to.

It was a refreshing experience in venturing out to make a purchase when being bombarded with bad news every single day! No exaggeration, my shopping experience gave me a much needed uplifting feeling that not all is lost...The Home Depot has saved the day!

Thanks to Pam at the checkout counter for taking the time to rectify a problem from several days prior. She went above and beyond, even to the point of walking another cashier through the procedure so he would be able to solve a similar issue should it ever arise.

I went into the Volo location and my goodness I cannot stress enough how great of an experience I had. Kathy and Ray went above and beyond to help me. They walked me over, got other associates to help grab items from the top shelf, walked me to the register. It was like a dream. It was so easy, and they were so accommodating. Their kindness really made me tear up, I even got a hug from Kathy! My grandfather had just passed a few days before, and this experience really made me so happy. I am so thankful they were there. They truly made my experience great.

wanted an item to be placed on hold and he said he wasn’t able to do that because they had plenty in stock … so I went inside only to be givin attitude at the cashier line . bob from hardware and especially gary from the service desk don’t know how to give customer service

Whenever I need help there isn’t an associate far away. If they don’t know the answer they get someone for me. That’s the ticket! I don’t expect each associate to be knowledgeable in every single department but what they do know is how to find you the right answer !

We had the pleasure of having Pamela Check us out as we left the store. she was helpful and knowledgeable. Just willing to help, I really appreciated that. We usually like coming to this store due to the friendly staff

I had a late night run to our Volo store on Wednesday to fulfil a project order. I was met by Leon in tools. He helped me to find two very specific tools that were needed for a project. He brought us right to the products as opposed to pointing in a general direction. He also gave us a few alternatives to use just in case. We then met Rick and Brian that helped to look up stock on some thin plywood for the project. They were able to find out when the inventory would be available at this store. They also gave suggestions of other stores that had stock of this item. After requesting for a substitution of items they directed us to meet Linda and Pam at the Pro desk. The ladies took the time to find a way to solve our issue by substituting another similar product at a reasonable price. They followed the order through to check out with a friendly and positive attitude. This was all completed about 30 minutes before closing. It was great to have this type of experience after two years of everyone being under pressure. Great job Volo team. We will see you soon!!!!

I waited 3 hours for the cashier to check me out, it was a horrible experience. Go to a different store.

It is refreshing to go to a store and feel that you are appreciated as a customer. Employees were willing to help, not acting as if you are bothering them by asking a question which has happened to me in the past.

Excellent customer service at Home Depot Volo location. Pam and Sam really helped us find the shower door we needed and made sure we got 6 month free financing on our Home depot credit card. Thanks!!

If you’re out this way this is a solid option for home improvement. I rarely go to the green option across the street…just like this store more.

I purchased a few items at the service desk for an online order and it went smoothly. Pam helped me and she was amazing.

I went in for a tool rental, and I was fortunate to experience AMAZING Customer Service at this Volo Home Depot this morning! Kurt was patient, and thoroughly explained HOW TO use the rental. In addition, he took the time to understand my needs, and recommend the correct amount of supplies I needed to complete my job.

Employees are reluctant to help seniors with heavy items. Items l needed were on back of pallet under their storage racks. Had to crawl on hands and knees to get what I needed. Asked for help and got none.

This store has an issue with customer service. Too many associates do not know what to do. Their managers fail to come down to assist, instead they only help "over the phone". Most of them do not act like they care about customer concerns or compaints and would rather say they cant help and to come back later. Every customer service employee I have encountered has failed to help and instead gives an attitude. They act like we as costomers, do not know what we are talking about when it is actually the other way around. Associates on the salesfloor serve the customers better than the ones at customer service.

The associates are all very helpful we especially love Cassandra in lumber. She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

Best customer service in the Northwest burbs and maybe anywhere.

Watch out for their subcontractors. I waited around for a company to come and measure my home for doors and no one showed up within the 2 hour window and no one called to say they would be late. I called customer service twice and was told they might be an hour late. Still waiting.

The store is very clean. The sales people are knowable and helpful. They went above and beyond to help.

They REALLY try to help you! I've gone way out of my way to shop here! All my appliances are from Home Depot! Spend so much time at Home Depot, I feel like I LIVE THERE! THANK YOU!
