Could not use. To short

It worked great for what I needed it for and was very easy to install.

It is wider on the flexible part - makes it difficult to fit inside a dryer if that's where the vent is.

Very sturdy. Fits right into the rest of the ductwork. One end is clinched and the other has ductape and there's no draft from either side.

Was expecting additional collars for tightening the connections.

Worked perfectly. I was able to shorten the distance the air traveled before exiting the house and was able to attach it with sheet metal screws, for a more secure connection.

I changed my dryer exhaust from the traditional backside to the left side, expecting to vent directly out the wall. My poor questimations meant the connections were misaligned. So, I needed a short connection between two 90 degree elbows. The Everbillt reminded of how little laundry ducting has evolved. It works but two the cheap collar rivets broke. Also, it is stiff; not a subtle accordion (technically, semi-rigid is accurate). As a result, when needing to move the dryer away from the wall, you should expect tension on the collars and tape before the vent duct expands.

Tried installing this to the washer and vent in the wall. Only the smooth end will fit either end. The riveted end is the same size and doesn't fit into either the dryer or receiving vent.

The collars are the same size as the duct work. They are not meant to attach to anything but the trashcan which is what we had to do to get it to fit.

Too rigid to push dryer back against the wall

This product is poorly made. One of the collars had two connected points where the rest was gapped. When pulling apart carefully, it tore in the middle. It also was easy to deform where a foil tube is better. I bought anofher product instead that did not tear nor deform, which that installed well.

Still searching for the ideal product to run dryer vent through irregular spaces. If I could change one thing about this stuff, I'd want a way to make it more resistant to crushing, but I would want to maintain the same level of flexibility and stretching ease.

Very difficult to install. Once it finally did, it tore immediately upon pushing the dryer into place. Wasted money.

The riveted ends seemed cheesy.
