Very clean store. Employees are always friendly and helpful.

The Home Depot on-line catalog is often inaccurate. Even if the catalog states that the Fairbanks store has an item, that item may not actually be in Fairbanks.The Fairbanks store does not have sufficient warehouse space and some items allotted to the Fairbanks store are actually located in an Anchorage warehouse. I discovered this when shopping on-line for a new washing machine. The Home Depot website said the appliance I was interest in was in stock at the Fairbanks store., but when I got to the store I was told that appliance was not in stock at the store, but was in an Anchorage warehouse. I was also told that it would take two to three weeks to get the appliance shipped up from Anchorage. Needless to say, I went elsewhere to buy a washing machine.

I found what i was looking for on each visit to the store. When i needed help, i found it easily and they were always pleasant. The store was always clean and neat.

The receipt says that the sweep stakes is for a $5000 gift card but the website says $1000. You should change this. The employees were very helpful even though you were out of the plumbing parts we needed.

Customer service is obviously not a priority. 1 person behind the service counter who is also helping customers with returns is not acceptable when there were 5 or 6 people standing directly behind the line for customer service at the paint counter discussing the football game that was on the night before. After standing outside in the cold wind rain and snow for 45 minutes and made 3 phone calls inside to customer service about a forklift I was finally loaded. I would say that customer service is not a priority. Thank you to the forklift operator (Steve) and the spotter (Jason) who were very nice and understanding of my issue. They were on the spot and very helpful!! Kudo's to you two!

I went to store in Fairbanks on May 10,2019 to return tree which according to Homedepot official in-store return policy states, “The Home Depot unconditionally guarantees all tropical, house and landscape plants (only perennials, trees and shrubs) for one year. Garden Superviser Cris attack me with his behavior refused to except return plus he escalated situation.He was nor wearing Homedepot employee vest ..so from beginning I was not sure who is he? He was very angry and rude. I was in shock after that kind customer service experience in Homedepot Fairbanks Rachel customer desk person also was very rude she was acting very unprofessional refused to give me my special order.I spoke to store manager Steven he also was not helpful in this situation.Steven, Rachael and Cris act unprofessional. Please be aware of plants policy and aggressive employee!

I appreciated the help and knowledge I received to help me install a towel holder. I not a very handy person, but the employee instructions were easy to follow and helped me do a good job.

I shop frequently at home depot doing maintience and repair work.. one thing I noticed you have to pay attention to its you have looked at previously such as large appliances and lighting because there is allways a sale or a markdown going on even if its not advertized look anway.. I recent bought a refregerator for about 1/3 of retail small dent and moveing out for differeng stock ie Good deals keep shopping and be patient

The website said they had a specific piece of equipment to rent which they did not actually have available for rent. It’s not that it was already rented, they just didn’t have it. Instead we purchased the item. The employees were friendly and helpful about it, even if they did say it was on sale when it wasn’t. That said, at checkout we were told if we signed up for the store credit card, a ten minute process at least, we’d get $25 off. This was also an untrue statement.
