Need better costumer service and friendly employee willing to help others .while your on the store

I when into this store to buy a toilet, I asked the worker in that department if he could me . He instantly got an attitude for no reason. I started to leave and take my business somewhere else. I asked for help to load it in my truck I waited outside for 25 minutes. I went back in and told the cashier no one came, let me note she was nice and called someone again. I finally asked someone in the lumber department to help me load it in my truck and he was nice enough to help me.

Bad customer service every single time.. I rarely come to this location which is sad to receive poor C.service

My husband shops here regularly with never a problem. For me, I am met with a scowl, sigh, eye roll, and frustration every single time I ask for anything (even something as simple as “which aisle is this in?”). If you never need to speak with an associate, you’d like find this store wonderful. If you’re a women looking for help, run for the hills. You’ll find no help at this store.

Always very helpful and friendly

Great location and an easy on/off the freeway. Horrible staff who knows nothing about building materials. Few are really willing to help and even the employees acknowledged this about their fellow members. Menards is just across the street...

Employees un-friendly, and not very knowledgeable on many items & services from my experience. Store is getting better appearance wise, however still has a long way to go in my opinion. I will continue to shop this store due to proximity, however I hope it gets better fairly quickly for a more enjoyable experience.

I would strongly urge you to visit another location if at all possible. We were just there on Saturday evening regarding a flooring return, and it was almost a joke, between returning the flooring and trying to purchase more. The cashier wanted to give us a hard time about the return, which the corporate office had advised me would not be a problem if I decided to return it in store myself versus shipping it back (online order). Then, after asking him twice to have a store rep come help us unload the 700 lbs worth of flooring from my truck, we still had to do it ourselves. THEN, when we found the flooring we wished to purchase, the woman in the flooring department was absolutely unhelpful and rude when we told her we found the laminate we wished to purchase and needed assistance - acted like she couldn't be bothered, and almost had a "what do you want me to do about it" mentality. The store manager did give us a discount due to the unprofessionalism of his staff, but I'd rather skip the headache altogether than risk going to this location again.

Maybe I'm just a creature of habit but I have always enjoyed and preferred your store to others. I feel more at home there and know the store better. I generally can find someone to help me when and if I need help on the salesfloor and the salesperson it always polite and helpful. I find your store to be clean which makes shopping there more pleasant.

I hope you have the lucky opportunity to meet Charlena ("Just call me Char"). She is the epitome of customer service. She was so helpful from start to finish. And the best part...I didn't have to find her, she found me.

As a contractor, I visit many HD's weekly, this one by far is one of the worst next to Detroit. The turn over is incredible, the lack of product knowledge of their employees is embarrassing, there's always inventory in the isle ways waiting to be put away and in my way (why can't HD pay these people to stock shelves after hours or during less busier hours?) and the people who work there clearly don't wanna be there. Who's hiring these people? Is there that much of a shortage on people looking for a job? This store used to be nice and filled with helpful individuals but not any more. Thankfully there's another option across the street when needed...

I've been going to the Livonia Store on Middlebelt since it opened & have to say I have always gotten Excellent Customer Service! The most recent time (today) was not any different. Thank you Dorothy for hand walking my (online) order down to the other side, finding it & waiting for someone to help me put all that HEAVY STUFF in my car!! Your pleasant demeanor was much appreciated on this extremely hot & muggy day & you helped me to get in & out very fast. The 2 young gentlemen that helped me get all my stuff in my care were pleasant also! Thank you Livonia Store #2742 for making this experience Great!

Very clean. Employees assist you in a timely manner. Employees know what they are talking about when it comes to items in their departments.

Cashiers are slow!

Very poor customer service and extremely racist towards African-Americans.

I went to this store for flowers for my front and back yard.There was a large variety of flowers,soil,fertilizer and hanging plants.I found everything I needed.

i received an email & text saying my order was ready for pickup. i waited an hour with my 5 year-old & was told the order wasn't ready. the CS rep was very apologetic. i offered to return the next day & agreed on 9am monday morning to pick it up. i returned the next day (somewhat early, i admit) & again waited about an hour & still no order was picked. i just stood there at the CS desk greeting customers as they wandered into the store. they literally never picked my order which was 4 pieces of lumber & 4 bags of readymix concrete. absolute waste of my time. will never do this again.

On each visit that I have made to this store I have been cordially greeted be employees who offered to assist me in finding what I need. The store was clean and products were organized and displayed in a convenient manner which allowed me to make informed purchases.

This store embodies the small business concept of paying more attention to the customer
