This is the only place that I go for my lumber and have it cut and supplies that I need. I found that the older staff tend to be very helpful friendly and not in a rush to get you over with. Usually my son comes with but today I was alone. Today I had a guy called Sarge I believe ,anyway he went above and beyond to help this old gal out, he helped me get the best price and got the most cuts off of a piece of wood and even helped me get the screws that I needed and hooks! then after cutting my wood I was confused at how many that I got and how would I say so at check out to pay the right price? Well Sarge to the rescue he walked me to cashier and did it all and never ever did I feel rushed I am so thankful for workers like him thank you Sarge.

I’m use to going in to stores an wandering around trying to find what I need because nobody seems to to have enough help. That didn’t happen here, Got help the minute I walked in.

Big shout out to this young lady Alejandra who was so helpful with a great smile and great attitude. Great to see a young person doing so great. Hope you get your chickens.

I purchased product today and set it up. Setup time was about 2 hours from unboxing to assembled. The instructions for stand were at first a little confusing but after laying parts out I could see how they matched instructions and it went together pretty easily. the package for the stand (Cart) contained the screws/bolts and nuts plus the tools required for installation. I used my own 13mm socket and ratchet. The assembly for the saw to the stand (cart) was very easy. I had trouble figuring out how to mount saw guard assembly. I watched you tube video and found out I just needed to pull a lever and I could mount the guard assembly. Overall I am very happy with my experience getting saw up and running.

Recently we went to the Machesney Park Home Depot to purchase parts to fix a toilet. Terry in Plumbing was amazing. He knew exactly what we needed and went out of his way to make sure all the parts fit together. Couldn't believe how much time he spent with us.

A store associate by the name of Joe Keck helped me with my purchase and Joe was very knowledgeable regarding my purchase and even carried items for me and Joe went out in the 16 degrees weather to help me load my new snowblower in my vehicle.. thanks Joe Keck and God bless you!!

The cashier named Kelly in the return department is very rude. He was short when speaking to me while trying to do a simple return with a receipt. He didn’t check the items in the bag or my receipt before trying to give me a partial refund to my debit card. He then ask what the card machine was doing and why it was taking so long when entering my email for an email receipt. He lacks basic customer service skills. He should not be in this department if he can not communicate properly with the customer.

Very friendly. Employees were kind and helpful. I found everything I needs and the aisles were very neat. The garden center was clean and accessible even with navigating the child cart around.

The staff is friendly, helpful and can show you where anything and everything is. The store is very clean and you can find basically anything and everything you may need to work on your outdoor or indoor projects.

Great place to shop at

We have been going to this store for years now ever since we moved into the area. Now we are finishing our basement. They have been a huge help in helping us choose the correct materials and tools needed.

This store seemed cluttered. The lack of acknowledgment throughout the store, by the employees, was very lacking. When asked a question, one rolled his eyes and said "Um, yeah I can stop what I am doing to help you". The other employee would not stop moving his few little pieces around to help us fully. No attention whatsoever. At the Self-Checkout, there were 3 employees standing there talking and not one of them even acknowledged that we were checking out. No hello and no goodbye. Please remember that without the customer, you do not have a paycheck.

My wife and I were doing a paneling project in our basement. Two young associates, Sarge and Parker helped us. They were polite, respectful and knowledgeable. They even cut our panels to size on the store saw and also made sure I had the correct fasteners. Saved me a lot of time by cutting the panels for us! I thought they went above and beyond. They are definite assets to their Home Depot work group. Very happy!
