Chuck the store manager was a blessing.

Store employees always present when needed and are willing to assist.

except for this cashier , always great experience at store by the way i go there 5 times a day , not first time i got her , never good

Staff always friendly and store is clean and in order. Generally have everything I need and employees are always friendly.

This store is clean and very well stocked; very few inventory holes to be found on the shelves.

When checking out I prefer an emailed receipt over paper on more than one occasion the cashier selects the print receipt option. They do not ask they just quickly make the selection before I can react. I am getting extremely perturbed over this. I have taken the time to enter my email so please stop making this decision for me.

Do not stand behind their products

Tons of orange aprons on the sales floor but the store is in rough shape. Can't get any help offered and when you look for help if feels like the employees run and hide from you. Bart and Sarge are the go to guys. These 2 are the only ones who seem to care about customer service.

Amazing Staff at this location!! Ann Marie, Evelyn and Blake were so helpful. They teamed up together to make sure my questions were answered, showed me where items were, and even called another store to make sure that they had the item I was looking for. I will recommend

all of the employees were so kind and patient and helpful even though we came in close to closing time and Annmarie went so far above and beyond helping me fill out an application for a Home Depot credit card. MY husband wandered off and they found him for me and were so sweet about it.

Went into the store at 730 on a Saturday am to get sand. Outside garden was almost completely empty of any landscape materials. Went to building materials to get sand. Had to get a ladder and lift five #50 bags of sand down the ladder. Was not greeted or asked if I needed assistance during my whole visit at the store. Was not greeted, asked if I found everything for my project or told thank you for shopping by the cashier at self-checkout. Very dissatisfied with the customer service and product availability at the Machesney Park Home Depot.

The employees at the Machesney Park Home Depot go well beyond the service I have ever gotten from the other box lumber stores.

Very clean and organized. Well stocked. Employees were plenty and very helpful and pleasant.

My boyfriend was buying me my first toolset for my birthday tomorrow, as I've recently gotten very into woodworking. We had a cart full of stuff including a drill and a floor model saw because the rest were sold out. We went to the self check-out. And needed assistance because of the floor model saw and we wanted to add warranties to both the saw and drill. Tricia was there ready to help before we even knew we needed it. She then gave us a discount on the two things and proceeded to ring up the rest of our cart, which she obviously didn't need to do as it was self check-out. We thanked her and proceeded to pay. She went on to see if anyone else need help and the group of people behind us were incredibly rude to her. They snapped at her like a dog, made rude and snarky remarks and frankly, treated her as if she were less than. We went and loaded our car up and I was pulling off, decided to park and run back in to talk to Tricia personally as I felt horrible how they treated her. She was so nice and throughout even those people being as horrible as they were to her, she remained extremely polite to them. I just wanted to leave a good review for Tricia as she deserves to be treated with dignity and respect!

I hate shopping at Home Depot because you never get any help. We asked for help today regarding a lawnmower and no one came over so we had to load the mower ourselves in a cart. Being that we are seniors it was now easy. I never saw anyone cleaning carts to sanitize them, and there were no areas where you could get a cart. I found one that someone else had used so I took it as we needed a cart. I have had the same problem with Home Depot in past experiences. There customer service sucks!

While shopping for a "less than usual" item, I find that Home Depot will not only advertised the item (in this case a combo sump pump w/battery backup pump) but had it in stock as well. I was able to physically look at it and read what was required to install it as well. When they say they support the homeowner they mean it.

We have used this store very frequently over the past month due to a home remodel we are doing. We have spent hours there and required quite a bit of assistance. In the beginning we had luck but most recently the service has been substandard. Yesterday was the worst from general assistance to check out and being over charged by 3000$. I found the mistake that she didn’t even think twice about. She seemed as if she wanted us out of the store as fast as possible. It’s too bad this happened because usually the service is decent.

This store is fantastic, it's very clean and always has what i'm looking for in stock. Every corner you can find help if needed and they give honest opinions on materials and tools. I love this store because they welcome my puppy with open arms from the moment I walk in and even sometimes take her for walks while I browse what I'm looking for.

I am constantly impressed with your store personnel and the product selection and tenderness of this store!

obviously store management has no idea what is going on the sales floor. NO customer service, no acknowledgment of customers in the aisles and long waits at the registers. only 1 register open on a sat. afternoon ( besides the self check out ). and instead of the cashier saying Thank You she replies NO PROBLEM.

This store is convenient, clean and friendly!

Love shopping at The Home Depot. Can find everything I need online and it tells me exactly where to find the items. Very convenient. Very important to support local business as much as possible, and this store is always clean and the employees friendly. Quality products at a reasonable price.
