Home Depot is a big deal in upstate NY for home owners, construction workers and individuals wanting to spruce up their patios. Infact, it's as common as visiting the mall. The floor managers are extremely professional and accommodating. I love going there for our business and home needs.

I loved the plants and the items in the stire

Marie in particular! She offered us expert (and on-point) knowledge and courtesy, and we saw her help her teammates around her do better at their jobs. We were especially impressed that she later on walked over to the artificial turf area where we were, which was not her department, just to work alongside teammates there and to learn something in the process. She was motivating, kind, and clearly raised morale through her leadership qualities. The entire team was great, but we felt that she helped bring everyone up to their best, making for a very positive experience for us.

I'm always satistied whenever I shopped at Home Depot. It's been my go to store for 20 something years ans I love it. The prices are very reasonable and I usual get everything I need, even if i have to have it shipped to the store Home Depot is very reliable

Train workers on how to treat customers and ensure they know their jobs well.

Customer service at this Home Depot is lousy the employees here show little to no interest in helping customers. Most Home Depot I go to are great but this one really sucks.

I will not return to HD. I tried to return something months ago, but was turned away from the Hamilton Ave HD since their garage ceiling collapsed and they were closed. So, I missed the 90 day return window., I walked into the Bed Stud HD begging just to get credit so I could purchase fire extinguishers. I was with my child, and they denied me. If that can't override policy for the safety of my family, then I cannot support this business any longer.

I waited for 45 min in the flooring dept for someone to help me even after someone paging them. Then the person who came had NO IDEA about flooring had to go get someone else and I had to wait 15 more min. When I got help I had to go order the tiles cause they only had 3 in stock so I order 13 cases to be delivered. When I got them delivered they only brought 10 and said oh go get a refund at the store cause I paid cash. So I had to drive back to Bklyn to get my refund and now I’m looking for the same tiles so finish my home. UNBELIEVABLE !! This place should have its owners go in undercover or give me a camera I’ll go in and you can see how it’s run !

The associates were unhelpful and gave me negative attitude

Whenever I need help, there are plenty of staff to help me. Generally the shelves are stocked with whatever I need. These two things are way more important to me than a store greeter or a “thank you” as I leave. Aye, let’s aim for all, but the best two out of four will keep me coming back.

I bought a Christmas 🎄

I visited store #6957 to purchase a dryer and five burner stove/oven. Coleen provided exceptional service and was extremely knowledgeable about the appliances. She was able to schedule delivery of both appliances during the same week of purchase. Coleen was extremely professional.

I bought the Dremel Router Table and Dremel Workstation. I am very pleased with both equipment. They are excellent for my craft projects.

I dread having to go to this HD. Unfortunately, it’s the closest one to me. The staff have little knowledge of any product. The best you’ll get, is them reading the description for you. Hmm… I think I can read. The single line to check out requires one’s finding one’s zen place. Dreadful

This store is clean & organized

The check out line is truly one of the worst design in the city. There’s at least 15 self checkout lanes that require a cashier to assist you to use. So theres always open checkout lanes that could be used by customers but can’t since this location only posts 3 cashiers max at Checkout at a time. Either get rid of the self checkout and replace it with normal checkout lanes or stop holding your customers hands and open up all the lanes.

If you're looking for an item and you think you will require any type of assistance at all, don't bother at this location. Customer service is TRULY non-existent.

My experience with Micky at the customer service desk was the best part of my experience! His word is genuine and he followed up with me as promised! Which is rare with the modern work ethic of today! Commendable indeed!!!

I went to purchase paint. These employees showed NO INTEREST in meeting my needs. They only wanted to upsell my purchases.

This Home Depot can be an excellent store with knowledgeable associates and a staff that is willing and able to provide customers with exceptional service.

This store doesn’t seem to have any employees capable of actually doing things like cutting wood or blinds and using the basic tools every Home Depot has people assigned to elsewhere. Their entire blinds area had 0 employees for a 1 hr period (at least) and no one able to find who should be there.

The irony of this place can’t be understated. You are accosted outside of the building by day laborers who are not working and begging for work and inside you have people just collecting a paycheck and refusing to be helpful. I waited 30 minutes for an associate to unlock a cage and they still acted like they were doing me a favor. Where are all the Olympians from the commercials? Also maybe the worst parking lot considering pickups and 4x4 vehicles regularly park here. Why draw such narrow spaces? For the illusion of adequate parking?

The store is clean, well stocked and the lines move quickly.

Rena & Rodney helped me with my refund issue that had been ongoing for weeks. They both exhibited amazing patience & customer service as this issue took an hour to resolve & both of the associates never made me feel like I was a bother. Really appreciate the help :)

I went to ask for help with buying a vanity and Ray was amazing . He helped me by looking to see if my choice was in stock and found what I needed . He went above and beyond .

Numerous trips over 3 years. Very few employees actually know what customer service is. Surly attitude, quick to say don’t know and go to customer service rather than look up the item in their phones and then overheard making fun of customers while his buddies laughed along. Store is filthy

I am a cleaner they have everything I need and more

There are some wonderful individuals working at this store, but sadly most of the other employees behave as though they are working for free. Most of them appear to be agree, disappointed and just disgusted with anything that you the customer has to say. The managers certainly do not have control of their this situation because if you ever complain to them about an employee being disrespectful or rude or unwilling to assist you, most of the time, the manger appears annoyed with you as well. It is a disaster at this location and I just wish that Home Depot could hire the right management team to clean house and improve the staffing. This neighborhood deserves better. This is one of the highest grossing HD on the east coast and definitely the worse service. Well, I think the location in Hempstead NY would give them a run for their money.

Cashier Judith was aggressive and refused to cash me out. The manager had to come and cash me out simply because she didn’t want to do her job.

Worse experience at an Home Depot ever. The front checkout lady was very rude and unprofessional. Would definitely not recommend to anyone to come to this store. This store should be shut down permanently
