Great store - wonderful help!

Great store, clean, good inventory on most items, and helpful employees.

Home Depot is our favorite home improvement store in the area. Always clean and well organized. Staff is very friendly and helpful! I’ve never had to wait in long lines when checking out. Thank you!

The store was organized, we were asked several times if we needed help , the associate that worked with us was very knowledgeable.

Usually I like this store but today not. Hardly any customers so you'd think I could get help loading 10 bags of mulch. There were no large carts available for me to do it myself. When i asked cashier in garden dept to page for help she seemed befuddled and claimed she didnt have a phone to do so. So she sent me chasing down another employee ....who was walking faster than my 78 yr old legs could transport me. So...I asked another employee in garden dept for help and she, too, was no help and couldnt page. Finally traisped inside to customer service and they DID page 2 young lads who did the job. Not sure why i got such a literal 'run around' today.....usually it goes smoothly. There were only 2 other customers in this dept. while I was there.

Definitely, I will recommend my friends who is the first home buyer like me and who hasn't been there. They will be very surprise when they visit because The Home Depot has many things need for their sweet home.

Had 2 employee interactions, one fin,e one awful. Needed length of chain and a young woman offered to help me cut bulk chain to length. She was new and did not know how to work the cutter, I showed her how to safely, she did fine. She was helpful and polite. I went to the front to check out, there were 2 employees lounging about and when I told the cashier the chain price and length, he sneered that I needed to tell him the SKU or he could not help. I left the chain on the counter. I found the items I wanted, helped the employee cut it, remembered the length/price and brought it and my wallet to the front to purchase it, that is all I need to do!

Best H.D. I have ever shopped in. Clean, organized and personnel are VISIBLE, available and truly are willing to go out of their way to help a customer. Got a question or need more intense information? SEE KENNY. Everyone I met at this store was exemplary in their demeanor and professionalism. Shea; "Q" and, especially KENNY. Well done on all counts. I will drive a bit more to only shop at this store!

I had an issue with inventory being grossly incorrect, which wasted an hour of my time and still didn't get what I asked for. I called the store to complain and tell them they lost my business and I intentionally didn't buy the other $450 of items I was also going to buy. Micah was understand and apologetic and asked me to come back and he fixed the situation in a way that bought the other items and am buying the item they didn't have online. My star rating is for Micah only. Other staff 3, stocking accuracy 1, staff urgency (besides Micah) 2. Also want to note that Anne Evans upbeat personality did wonders to destress the situation after Micah helped me. TY Micah, TY Anne. Without u, home depot would have lost my business and I just bought a home, so I have lots of buying to do.

I love the Hull street store, but this location.No customer service in the eight times I have been here. My hubs is a contractor and we moved out this way so we are kinda stuck . Lowe’s doesn’t carry a lot of what we need. We were spoiled by the Hull street location, Jennifer Kinsey, Darryl at the pro desk all knew how to make you feel special, and help was always available, This store is the complete opposite. No help, people telling us they are doing inventory so busy...another said we are busy..ok...staff your store. I’m a consumer too and we have a business!

If you need wood cut, go to a different store. The one near willow lawn will measure, mark and as accurately as possible cut your wood for you.

The short pump home depot has the best selection of materials of any home improvement store in the area. The electrical and lighting departments are well stocked despite covid shortages. I appreciate the hard work put in to make sure the store is filled during this pandemic. I choose the short pump home depot as my primary source of electrical and lighting supplies.

I was at the store today 12/05/2020 at 1:15 pm to return an item and a very unfriendly, unhelpful and rude cashier at the Returns section by the name Michael refused to process my request after I showed him an electronic receipt on my email and told me to "step aside". This was the worst experience I have ever had at Home Depot. Keep employees like that and more people will move their business elsewhere.

Home Depot short pump very special because of Hannah

I highly recommend Ms. Hannah at the paint department to all customers, she is very friendly and helpful and also she knows all about the store and her products very well, if she is not sure she will still find answers whiles you are still shopping but please be nice because she is the star ⭐️ of the short pump Home Depot.

Love this store. They always have what I am looking for and a majority of their employees are friendly and made readily available.

I was able to get the items I needed but the woman at the paint counter was rude to me and the cashier and the woman at the door couldn’t seem to care less about me or the other customers at this time . Hopefully this is not the usual way Home Depot employees treat the customers all the time . I have been to this store in the past about 6 months ago and I don’t remember them being this way . I feel sorry for the other employees that work at this store that are professional and care about the customers . I didn’t have a good experience this time

Well staffed store, customer focused team.

I have been to many Home Depots around the Richmond area and the friendliest contractor desk employees are in Short Pump.

This is my second time making a purchase at this location. Both time I was please with the associate & the price offer.

Terrible just terrible customer service.

The Home Depot in Richmond West broad is a great place to shop. The customer service is outstanding and the prices are very competitive .

I would like to THANK both Leo and Kenny for their OUTSTANDING service! Both of these team members ALWAYS go above and beyond to assist whenever I need anything! I seek these two out for assistance because they are so helpful! I I wish EVERYONE could be like these two wonderful, caring team members....they truly make this store so wonderful!
