I encountered 3 employees and none were friendly or enthusiastic to assist me. I was pleasant in my approach. They did answer my questions on where to locate a product.

SUNSET LOS ANGELES HOME DEPOT The key guy: I remembered that i needed a key made. I saw the key guy ( sorry I never got his name) throw friendly conversations with customers. Ashe quickly assisted me he was friendly and toward the end he let me know if I ever need a key done he'll be available on weekdays not weekends. I would go back to him. The cashier: receipt says her name is Nathalie. I was ready to check out. I was going to use the self check out. There were 3 of us wondering where the line was and who was 1st. I didn't want conflict so I went to the cashier line and glad I did. I was purchasing 3 different types of drain unclogging liquids. She recommended the snake and told me it's very effective from her experience. When I was swiping my card ( the chip reader doesn't work) I realized that I needed cash back since I was doing laundry. She asked if I would like change instead of a solid 20. I was greatful

made a return of a product, didnt expect stupid attitude in return.

Today I was looking for track lite covers -fixtures to replace old ones that are broken. Marvin M went right to the location and showed me what was available. NOT MUCH. BUT he ordered some for me and told me when they will arrrive. Nice shopping experience.

The customer service is TERRIBLE. No one ever wants to help you and when you find an employee, who is trying to get away from you, they tell you they're not from that department but will call another person. Then you have to wait so long for an employee to be annoyed at you.

This particular home depot has high traffic and seems to cater to heavy contractors and large scale stamp projects. Not a whole lot of variety as other stores I've been to and poorly stocked on certain items you'd expect them to carry. My last trip to this location did not go well, an employee in the paint section couldn't find the caulk guns and when we found where they should've been there were none of any kind, then he redirected me to the plumbing section saying they might be there but it was obvious he knew there were not going to be any and he didn't follow or attempt to check with anyone else about where they might be. Couldn't find several things they usually carry actually, and little to no variety of what I was looking for. The parking lot was also a bit of a mess with random sketchy food trucks and stands and people loitering in a tight squeeze of a parking area to begin with. It's LA i know but still, the area has undergone a lot of gentrification and this home depot needs to keep up.

I needed a special part for a water filter and was impressed by the employee's patience and willingness to help

I found just the right screw for the fastening of a bucket chair leg. Thanks to the assistance of employee Jesus who had a great eye and was able to look through the inventory pretty quickly. It's a relief to know that small things can be found in this big place, things that make it possible to finish a project.

I go to Home Depot probably 2 times a week. I love home improvement projects of all kinds. I also get my cleaning supplies there. Best bang for your buck. The people who work here are so helpful and fun. They know their stuff too.

This Home Depot SUNSET LA Storeis unkempt in the parking lot abounds with rodents running all over the lower parking lot. When I informed the manager about the conditions in my shock, he seemed extremely nonchalant about it like it was a normal occurrence. When I asked him who I should share my photographs and video with he suddenly changed his attitude. Filthy place.

I bought Diamond Braid Polypropylene rope and Grip Premium , sorry i can't add photo don't know how to do it

The employees at the Sunset location were extremely helpful and went above any service or support I've ever experienced at a Home Depot before. I went to buy a portable air conditioner and Joseph from customer service was great at assisting me with getting the SKU# to find my item. Landeros worked with Blanca to have her use the forklift and retrieve the AC unit. The two of them were extremely sufficient and proactive in helping me purchase exactly what I wanted. I'm overwhelmed with how easy it was to get the service I needed and will be shopping here again!

All the employees I encountered were very pleasant, courteous and helpful. I was very pleasantly surprised.

I had to return something and pick up an online order. The staff was really efficient and really friendly. Kennia went out of her way to make my visit memorable. She saw me waiting in line and quickly helped me with my pick up order.

Simply put to have a sales associate actually care is few and far between so when someone does it that experience stands out. AnnaBell deserves to be acknowledged and for what its worth it was the best service experience I have had in 20 years at this home depot. Thank you for that experince

THIS IS EXCELLETN HOME DEPOT LOCATION

Vivian and Ashley at the Sunset location! She's the best! I lost my wallet at the Glendale Home with my receipt in my wallet (purchase was at Hollywood...their machines were broken so had to go to Glendale) and she helped me with a refund so I could get groceries that night. They went above and beyond to do the right thing and truly help me in an unfortunate situation. Hope Depot, give them a promotion!

Only one person has ever asked us if we needed help ever! We are still in shock. This is why we have to acknowledge Mr. De Anda or Deanda. It is always difficult finding someone to help at Sunset Depot. Thank you Mr. De Anda! Hope to see more hires like you!

This Home Depot is consistent with other Home Depots except the parking can be very difficult. The best thing to do is to just park upstairs.

I absolutely love this store because the employees are always welcoming and the store is always clean. Also, I loved my cashier, Amanda because she was very friendly and polite and she made my day special by being so kind and sweet!

Nathaly is the best ,very helpful, kind, up lifting person you guys are lucky to have her as a teammate.

I buy a lot of things from home Depot and they are very good about exchanging it's something breaks they never let me down they're awesome

The Garden Dept at Home Depot on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood is staffed by some awesome people. Look for a guy named Zerrick. He's a pleasure to work with and will help you find the best items to complete your gardening projects.

The store was almost closing and although I can imagine the staff being tired their customer service was awesome. Specially Crystal. Her customer service was exceptional. I hope she gets recognition.
